I've had my Meta Quest 3s for over a year, and it's worked mostly without major issue. However, while initially using the headset without issue today, I've run into issues over the past couple of hours of experiencing a catastrophic error (or series of errors) meaning that the headset is largely unusable. Upon first encountering the error (being unable to see files on my network) I reset my headset, as after trying other fixes, that has typically solved issues in the past. It hasn't here. It booted up to a mostly broken passthrough screen (of it being heavily lagged, and no UI coming up at all. Somehow, through all the steps described below, it's improved to the point that the passthrough screen is no longer lagged in its display, and i get a UI (most of the time), but the headset is still largely unusable, as stated.Most of the time it simply boots to passthrough with no usable UI after giving a bunch of errors including saying System UX, Files, Oculus Assistant Shop, Chats, Help

Since the yesterday meta horizon app update I cant load into any worlds. I can hear the sound of the world but screen is stuck on loading page . I ve been tryin to reset, delete and reinstall the app nothing works, please help 

Purchased Virtual Desktop from the store using the headset Horizon app.Money paid and the app downloaded. Headset said latest software is required to run the VD which downloaded and the headsetset rebooted and updated controller software as well. But I can't run VD because it doesn't appear in the library and nothing I've tried to sort this has worked. Anyone know how to get the app to appear in the library ? it's the only app so far I've had this error with.  

Hi all,I have a Meta Quest 2 and I am logged in on my parent account. Credit card set up and I've made purchases before.I add my child in Family Center, and they show up in the Horizon app, so that's good.However, in the Horizon app, I go to my device "Manage Profiles" and there is no button to add, I can only see my 1 connected profile.If I go to the profiles in the headset itself, it asks for the new user's email address, but my child's account doesn't have an email address.If I try going to meta.com/device I see my account and my child's account, however in order to add them to the headset it asks for an 8-digit code. No code appears in the headset or anywhere else that I can see. I only have my 5-digit pairing code I found in the settings, but that doesn't help.I've tried restarting the headset, no change.Can anyone help unstick me?

Hello, I recently bought a game in Meta Horizon and it requires a headset which i don't have. So i'm stuck not knowing what to do since i cant play the game. I just created an account also

I have this problem on my Quest or meta app that it will not let me buy anything no matter what I use for example like meta pay, visa, PayPal, and anything else I try to use. I just need someone to help me fix this because I have money on the account that I have not been able to use in over 6 months

Hi, I would like to request an update for your firmware. After updating to your latest firmware or new design, the UI looks really high-tech and great. But the problem is, we cannot know or find any apps that need to be update, just like in previous models or UI, there is a tag for "Waiting for update", but it is gone now. Every time when I start the device, I even wait for a few minutes, I would still do not know that which apps need to update. For example, the game for Real VR Fishing nearly updates per week, and I also played it once or twice per week. When I switch on your device, my first thing would be to check any apps need to be update in the past. But I cannot do it now! I started the game and cannot find the latest contents and after exit the game, it starts updating! It is just wasting my time!! Or am I missing something or function in your latest UI. If so, I apologize and hope somebody can teach me how to check for apps update. Thanks!

I am creating a game that uses TTS in browser. I just created a version for Web XR that works on Meta Quest, and I am saddened to know TTS won't work. Is there a way to get it to work? Are there plans to implement TTS in browser?

Hello,I enabled two-factor authentication on my Meta Account a while ago using an authenticator app. I recently lost access to the device with the authenticator, and I did not save the backup recovery codes when I set it up.When I try to log in, the 2FA screen does not show a "Try another way" option. I still have access to the email address registered to this account, but there was no phone number linked.Could a support agent please reach out via private message to help me verify my identity and restore access? i hope to find a solution because is from yesterda that if i open horizon link for  my old rift s i do not see nothing apart being a black square.i tried to repair, reinstall, change controllers batteries, restart the pc but not solving.i checked also nvdia drivers but that was not the issue.so i have no idea what happened and how to solve.maybe reinstall previous version of horizon ( that i am not finding aniwhere...)thanks for your help guys ;)

I do not want an out-of-warranty paid replacement yet. This appears to be a software/update recovery failure, not physical damage. My Quest 2 is stuck in a USB Update Mode loop. Sideload Update will not open, ADB cannot connect, and Meta Software Update Tool fails with “Cannot connect with ADB.” Fastboot detects the headset, but the bootloader is locked and fastboot continue fails with “Failed to load image from partition: Device Error.” Please escalate this to a supervisor/RMA team and check whether I qualify for a free repair or replacement due to failed system software recovery.

Possibly also when changing the curve screen option. Restarting makes it go away again, until I try to adjust the brightness again. On PTC 2.4 but was happening on previous releases too. 

I have e taken ownership of my step sons quest 2. We have access to his account on it but he doesnt remember the email or the password for the account any longer. If I factory reset it, will it let me set it up with my details or will it ask for the prior owners details first?

Hello, I tried to open some films with "Media Player" on My  Quest3, but impossible, i see 3 dots loader all time...Good internet connexion

Hey everyone, I think it would be amazing if Meta Horizon let us upload short audio clips to create custom voices and personalities for the Meta AI assistant.​For example, sci-fi fans could upload clips of Ordis from Warframe so the AI could mimic his polite tone and fun audio glitches. It would make the VR companion experience so much more immersive. What do you all think?

My Feeling is: That Since We are about to loose Meta Horizon Worlds for the Headset, that does Not get rid of the BIGSCREEN App. So if we all gravitate to that App, as we did in the days when it was great. It's still nice to be able to Watch Movies with your friends online. and therefore you can doodle in the Room or the Lobby! Don't forget there are lots and lots of Environments to choose from. I like the Main Living Room for my home turf. But everyone has their Favorite Environments for their Home Turf. Let's all not forget that we can Still Use our Meta Quest Remote Desktop to bring in our Computer to Navigate to More work. And do things in the BIGSCREEN area. Also, lets not forget too, that there is also the Virtual Desktop App that does the same thing. My only gripe Honestly is that the Avatars in BIGSCREEN is not as full body as they are in Meta Horizons. But, It's Better than Nothing if you want to share with a buddy from way across the world. Is there a way to disable the autostart of the store app when booting the Meta Quest 3?It‘s the most useless and annoying feature I‘ve encountered…Just to clarify, i‘m not talking about the app on windows but about the Meta Quest itself.

I've bought my first brand new VR headset on Amazon, on the official Meta shop, a Meta Quest 3S. No on a shady reseller.I've spent at least 5 hours trying to pair the headset on my Android phone, via the Meta Horizon app.I'm still stuck at the pair with the Horizon app screen on the Quest, which is for now a 300+$ worthless brick.I might add that i'm a senior systems engineer, more able with computers / gadgets than most people ...Both the Quest and the smartphone are on the 5GHz Wifi 5 channel (802.11ac)The bluetooth is enabled on the smartphoneI've tried pairing on two separate Meta accountsI select the correct headset model (Quest 3S)I've tried erasing the cache, the data, and desinstalling the Meta Horizon appI've factory reseted the headset a dozen of timesDuring the pairing, when i type a wrong pin code, the pairing is instantly failed, and the app asks me the pinWhen i type the good pin code, the pairing takes time then shows the "unable to connect to your headset", asking me to

I bought meta quest 3 a couple days ago, and everything was nice until i wanted to buy some games from meta horizon shop. I've been trying to add a new payment method (my debit card) since 5 days and every time when i put numbers correctly, there is a error: ,,an error occurred while adding the payment method". I called my bank and they said that the problems are from meta side.  Please help me how can i fix it because i cant buy any games rn. Thank you

I used to play with my grandkids. Ever since the recent "update" we are not able to see or hear each other when we play at the same time. We can be at the start of the game where you choose a club and course or try a Private Room and we cannot see or hear each other in the game. Any suggestions?? 

After the events of a couple of months ago when meta announced that they were going to pull back on horizon world and then deciding not to, I thought we might be ok. Yesterday day I heard just the opposite again and that quest headsets will no longer be able to access worlds. Can someone please explain what is going on and if this is true or not as I have a world in horizon I always go to on my headset
