Hi,I keep getting notifications to verify my age before my account is suspended, however I am not getting any prompts to upload my licence. How do I go about verifying my age?
I want to change my Meta date of birth because the current one is my brother's, but when I try to change it, it either says "Date of birth changed recently" even though the last time I changed it was 3-4 months ago, or sometimes it shows an error. So can someone help me with this? [Message edited by mod]
Hello! I have a Meta Quest 3S that is still under warranty. I lost one of the original wrist/safety straps that came attached to one of the Touch Plus controllers.I only need a replacement wrist strap, not a replacement controller. I checked the support options, but there doesn't seem to be an option specifically for the controller wrist strap.Could you please help me get a replacement strap?
Hi,I have a question regarding headset behavior. Should five green dots appear for both controllers immediately upon turning on the device?I recall seeing them in the past, though I cannot remember if they appeared during startup or were app-dependent. However, since updating to OS 2.5 and 2.6, I no longer see them at all.Could you please clarify when these green dots are supposed to appear, and if this change is expected with the latest updates?Advance thanks.
(Solved)So uhhhh... I use the wrong charger... I used my phone charger instead of the one that cam with the Oculus Quest 2.... Hello everyone, Intro (don't need to read this)My Oculus Quest 2 has a red blinking light, meaning (what I read online) Its so empty that it can't do anything until its charged. When I use my Quest I plug it into a power bank, sometimes the headset decides it doesn't want to be charged so it depletes and turns off after an hour (maybe longer/shorter, truly no idea). So this time again it didn't want to be charged and the battery depleted completely, even though I turned it off myself. I guess I didn't shut it off properly, because sometimes after turning it off, it turns itself on again (no I didn't press restart). ProblemMy quest gives a red blinking light, so I tried charging it. But when charging the red blinking light stops after a few seconds and goes solid white (meaning the screen is on). Its trying to boot up... Then the loading screen shu
My meta quest S3 controllers doesn’t respond, only vibrates and do nothing what can I do??
It will link just fine but the moment I try to open VRChat and just VRC it will hardfreeze the headset no mater what I do within 3-7 seconds and I've tried everything I can find but no idea if its because of the recent update to the headset or not
Hi all,Has anyone noticed odd issues when viewing VR tours on the Meta Quest? We're getting tearing glitches. This is mainly happening when turning our heads but it also happened once when not moving where the view seemed to jump.I've just tried a completed tour from a while ago and I'm having it with that too. It happens with both downloaded (wifi off) and online tours. It mainly seems to be happening with the left eye.I've just tried the a 360 video tour from a trusted source and the left eye's going crazy. Closing my left eye it's happening a little but not as much.I thought the issue was because we had an old headset and the lens had cracked or something but we have the same with a new Quest 3 we've just bought for a client.Any help with this would be great, thanks
My Meta/Quest account was disabled due to an incorrect age flag. I’m over the required age and have government ID ready to verify this, but I can’t reach the appeal or suspension screen at all. When I log in, the page flashes briefly then redirects back to the login page with no error or suspension message. This happens consistently across browsers and after clearing cookies. Checked with browser dev tools — the request immediately after login is a 302 redirect from auth.meta.com/register/confirm back toward the device/login flow, creating a loop.My headset is also showing a same-day age verification deadline that I can’t complete because of this same login issue.I’ve already submitted a case through the Meta support chat (confirmed a human agent will follow up at my email), but given the urgency I wanted to also flag this here in case any staff/mods can helpUsername: dotezVRAppreciate any help.
On March 4th 2026, I initiated an RMA request due to a hardware malfunction affecting the device’s built-in Wi-Fi. I followed all instructions provided by Meta and returned the device under warranty.I have experienced significant issues with the RMA process, including:Extended delays with no meaningful updates.Conflicting and inconsistent information from customer support.Failure to provide a replacement device or issue a refund Despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue through Meta’s customer support channels.I have not received a satisfactory resolution.Throughout this period, I have repeatedly been told that the matter is “under investigation,” with no clear updates, resolution, or timeline provided. As of today, I remain without my original device, a replacement, or a refund. As of May 4th 2026, I’ve filed a case against Meta Inc. with the Better Business Bureau, which didn’t do much at all. After the fact, my case with Meta is currently still “Processing”, and when asking for

Hi, I bought a used Meta Quest 2. It is still linked to the previous owner’s Meta account, but the seller is currently not responding. I have the headset in my possession. Can you help me remove the previous account so I can use my own Meta account?
My adult Meta account was suspended after Meta detected that a child under 13 was using my Quest. I received an email asking me to confirm my age by June 5, but unfortunately I missed that email and did not complete the verification before the deadline. The account has now been disabled. I am the adult owner of the account and the email address associated with it, and the account contains Quest apps and games that I purchased. I found the original Meta email and tried the Confirm Age button, but it now redirects me to a page saying “We disabled your account.” That page only allows me to download my information or log out. There is no option to verify my age, appeal, or request a review. Meta Horizon also gives me GraphQL error 3571065, directing me to auth.meta.com to take action on the account, but auth.meta.com only displays the disabled-account page. I also cannot contact normal Meta support because it requires me to log into the disabled account, which sends me back to the same pag
my Q3 is about 6 months old. last week while playing on them, the display started blinking black and back to game on & off about every second. i could not get it to stop. i had to turn it off and then back on in order to get it to function properly.this has happened about 8-10 times since then and seems to happen more often. i have Factory Reset the headset, but that didn't work.is this happening or has it happened to anyone else, and more importantly, is there a fix for this? i am on v83.0 (Dec 15, 2025.Meta Horizon Link Version 83.0.0.333.349russ from Florida, USA
Hi,I was recently charged about €8 (30 PLN) for an automatic renewal of my Meta Quest+ subscription.I sold my Quest headset a long time ago and haven't used the service since. I didn't intend to renew the subscription and would like to request a refund for this latest charge. The problem is that when I try to contact Meta Support regarding the subscription/payment, I'm asked to provide the serial number of my Quest headset. I no longer own the device, so I don't have the serial number. Is there any way to contact the appropriate support team about a Quest+ subscription refund without having the headset or its serial number?I would really appreciate any help or advice from a Meta moderator.Thank you!

Hello,I am facing a severe software deadlock on my Meta Quest 3.Please note: I absolutely cannot do a factory reset. I must keep the accounts and data currently on the headset. I am looking for a workaround to bypass this bug.How it happened: My headset language was set to French. I enabled Voice Commands and went through the tutorial. Commands like "back", "scroll up", and "scroll down" worked, but the "tap" command failed. Immediately after this setup, the tracking system completely crashed. Current Symptoms:Controllers & Hands are dead: Hand tracking does not work. The controllers are on and connected (pressing the right Meta button successfully re-centers the view), but there are no laser pointers and no buttons respond.Stuck on Profile Screen: I am blocked at the initial profile selection menu.Head-Gaze UI Deadlock: The emergency head-gaze mode (white dot) is active. When I aim the dot at my profile and press the physical Volume + or Volume - buttons, the dot visually exp
Hey everyone,I am writing this post to warn every single person in this community about what happens when you trust Meta with your hardware. If you think a multi-billion-dollar corporation has your back when things go wrong, please learn from my absolute nightmare. Meta has essentially taken my 700,000 KRW headset and they’ve been responding to my emails with nothing but AI-generated bull**bleep**, giving me the runaround over and over, with delay after delay and excuse after excuse after excuse for over half a year! There needs to be a giant warning sticker slapped onto the front of every single headset Meta sells. It should read:"WARNING: Turn off automatic updates immediately. Meta's software updates can and will brick your device. If our software breaks your headset, we might agree to replace it—but when we're going to do that depends entirely on when the hell we feel like it. We don't care, and we're not going to do it quickly, if we replace it at all even if we made a binding writ
Many Meta Quest 3 owners are experiencing the same serious issue after what appears to be a faulty firmware update. The headset starts normally, shows the Meta logo, then displays the down-arrow firmware symbol as if it’s updating. After that, the screen goes completely black and never turns back on. People have already tried every official fix that Meta recommends: Rebooting the headset. Performing a full hard reset using the power and volume buttons. Installing the manual firmware update through the Meta update tool on a computer. Even after completing all of these steps successfully, the headset remains unusable. The issue clearly points to a defective firmware update or a corrupted boot process caused by the update itself, not user error or damage. Some customers have received replacements, while others have been denied support because their device is out of warranty. That inconsistency is unacceptable. A firmware defect that originates from Meta should not depend on warranty sta
Hello! I was mid updating my headset but then it randomly turned off and now it only shows a green LED then after a few seconds it turns off. I googled these symptoms and it says it's bricked and the only way is to fix it with a firehose file. Would any meta employees be willing to give me the Quest 1 firehose so I could unbrick it (I purchased it a while ago and I lost the receipt so I can't get warranty)
When charging my quest 2, it keeps turning on, loading with the meta logo, showing the powering off/shutting down loading screen, then turning off, about 5 to 10 second delay then repeat. This has been happening when I've been charging it for the past few days. If I unplug it, it stops but seems to be dead.
Hi everyone,I’m experiencing multiple issues with my Meta Quest 3 , and I’m wondering if anyone has seen this before. 1. Issue on the Quest headsetThe headset is functioning normally with the primary account, but I’m unable to use any multi-user features. The primary account works correctly.Purchased apps are accessible. The headset is paired with the Meta Horizon app.Software is up to date (v2.6).However:I cannot add a secondary profile.Trying to add a profile results in:Something went wrongThere was a problem sending the invite. Please try again later.I also cannot enable App Sharing. When I try to enable it, I receive:Couldn’t share appsSomething went wrong and we weren’t able to share your apps. Please try again later. 2. Issue in the Meta Horizon appThe primary account is properly connected to the Meta Horizon app.The Devices section correctly shows my Quest 3.The headset serial number is displayed correctly. The headset status appears normal. However, when I open the new Man
Can I somehow skip the setup? The setup was attempted with 4 phones: 2 Android and 2 Apple. It didn’t work with any of the phones. I have also reset the Oculus Quest multiple times and re-downloaded the app, but so far, no fix has worked. I haven't found any answers in the community either.can someone help. Thank you
update May 30, 2024: There have been no updates/improvements to controller tracking since Meta Support marked this as solved! Community consensus seems to be that this issue stems from hardware/software limitations with the controllers, specifically the method of tracking (as a software developer working specifically in the machine learning and computer vision space, I agree that this technology is not particularly robust enough to handle some types of movement). If you play games that require fast hand movements and/or dynamic hand positioning, I would recommend not buying a Quest 3, unfortunately. I've heard some anecdotes regarding improved tracking with the Quest Pro controllers, but the improvements are marginal at best - not worth the additional ~$300 for minimal performance gains IMO. My personal recommendation is to stick to Quest 2. Not to detract from the various improvements that the Quest 3 has brought (e.g., color passthrough w/higher resolution, better hand trac
