Hi,I’m looking for some clarification regarding the terms, policies, and limitations applicable to Meta Hyperscape.I have reviewed the available documentation, but I have not been able to find clear information regarding the rights and restrictions associated with data captured using Hyperscape. In particular, I would appreciate clarification on the following points:- Are users permitted to access and reuse data captured with Hyperscape outside of the application ?- Is it possible to export or extract captured data and process it using third-party software ?- Are there any restrictions on modifying, converting, or otherwise reusing Hyperscape captures ?- What are the main limitations regarding the use of Hyperscape and the content generated through it ?- Are there specific terms governing the use of Hyperscape captures for purposes other than viewing or using them within the Meta ecosystem ?- Are there any specific restrictions depending on whether the use is personal, professional, edu

After updating to the latest Meta update I get the following project Auditor error "Invalid ID string supplied to DescriptorId".It blocks me from building to the headset.Supposedly the following file"Library/PackageCache/com.meta.xr.sdk.interaction@b67d311217e9/Editor/Utils/ObsoleteAssetAnalyzer.cs:37"is not compatible with the auditor. The only solution right now would be to remove the auditor package.

Posting this because I've spent about a month on a support ticket and I've now isolated the problem to something that isn't specific to my app. I'd like to know whether other Rift/PCVR developers are seeing the same thing. **The symptom** My PC app is published and publicly live. The PDP loads fine for logged-out visitors, and it shows in My Apps as owned. But it returns nothing in the Meta Horizon desktop app's store search — not on the exact title, not on any partial or keyword variant. Photo House VR PC — app ID 1792133525093173https://www.meta.com/experiences/pcvr/photo-house-vr-pc/1792133525093173/ **What I tested** In the Meta Horizon desktop app's store search: 1. "Overview" (Rift title, published 2022) — returns results normally.2. "Portal Rush" (Rift title, app ID 26986461677664836, published around late 2024, PDP live at https://www.meta.com/experiences/pcvr/portal-rush/26986461677664836/) — returns similar games, but no exact match. **This is no

[Note: Hyphens (-) are used in place of underscores (_) in technical terms to ensure forum system compatibility] Executive SummaryHigh-complexity applications and games on standalone Meta Quest headsets often suffer from recurring processing bottlenecks in physics and graphics calculations. This is caused by strict adherence to high screen refresh rates (90Hz / 120Hz) and high per-eye display resolutions, lacking sufficient flexibility to adapt resource consumption dynamically to interactive moments. This proposal introduces a software architecture vision via Horizon OS and the Meta XR SDK to mitigate these bottlenecks and maximize the computational capacity of the CPU, GPU, and RAM through dynamic control layers and standardized performance profiles that balance visual realism with competitive responsiveness. HARDWARE CONSTRAINTS AND THERMAL CEILING- Thermal Management and Conduction: Thermal conductivity limits of the PC-ABS casing require maintaining heat dissipation

Hello Meta Support and Community Team, I am writing to report a persistent system bug that is completely blocking me from creating a Meta for Developers account. I have attempted the registration process multiple times. After waiting an extended period (including a 24-hour wait for a mobile verification code to finally arrive), I successfully received the SMS code, entered it, filled in all my required contact details, and selected my developer role. However, despite successfully completing all these steps, the platform refuses to finalize my account creation. Instead of granting me access to the dashboard, it traps me in an endless loop and throws me right back to the initial "About you" role-selection page. I have attached screenshots documenting this exact registration loop and interface state. Could you please look into my backend account status or escalate this bug to your technical team so my account can be manually created or unblocked? Account Details:-

Essentially I have tried a couple workarounds, but meta won't send my phone number a verification code to register my account, does anyone know how to fix this? Would appreciate the help.I had AI here summarize my issue:Cannot complete Meta for Developers registration — stuck in an infinite loop at the "Verify account" step. No SMS verification code is ever delivered. What happens: Registration reaches "Verify account," requests a code by SMS, and none arrives. Returning to developers.facebook.com always lands back on this step. There is no way to go back, skip, or choose another verification method. Already tried: waiting 24+ hours; multiple resends; removing and re-adding my mobile number on the Facebook account; a second, unrelated mobile number; confirming the number is present and verified in Accounts Center under Personal details → Contact info; a different browser and a private window.State of the account: the mobile number is listed in Accounts Center at account l

From that moment, all 6GHz BSSIDs disappear from list-scan-results at driver level, while the same SSID remains perfectly visible on a Samsung S23 Ultra (also Wi-Fi 6E) from the same spot. 2.4/5GHz SSIDs from the same AP still scan fine.adb shell cmd wifi force-country-code enabled 00 fails with SecurityException: Uid 2000 does

As an Arabic speaker, I frequently take multiple screenshots in my Meta Quest 3 to translate text. Because of this, my storage fills up with many photos quickly. Currently, the system only allows deleting them one by one, which is very time-consuming and frustrating. Please add a "Select All" or bulk delete feature so users can delete multiple photos at once. Thank you!

Support suggested I start this topic here. It seems Meta is not strictly enforcing its own age policies when it comes to underage children using Quest headsets. This isn't just a problem in multiplayer spaces—it impacts the entire platform, all games, and the overall ecosystem. While individual developers are trying to handle age-related issues on their own, it shouldn't be left entirely up to them. For example, Devs United Games recently had to add a "Blacklist" feature to Real VR Fishing to give hosts more control over their rooms, but because underage users are widespread, features like this can easily backfire and be used by groups of children to unfairly kick or block adult players who paid for their headsets and games.Leaving underage accounts unmoderated exposes children to serious safety risks, including exposure to mature content and online harassment.Meta needs to step up and improve:1: Stricter Platform-Wide Age Verification: Implement robust, mandatory age-assurance tools (l

Device: Meta Quest 3OS Version: [v83.1032]Region: Austria (AT)Severity: High (Feature possibly broken for entire country)SummaryThe Quest 3 disables its 6GHz (WiFi 6E) radio specifically when the OS detects the Country Code AT. The hardware is fully functional and connects successfully to 6GHz networks when the device is in a temporary 00 (World) regulatory state. However, as soon as the OS detects an AT beacon and updates the Country Code, the 6GHz network immediately disappears from scan results and the connection drops. This indicates that the internal Regulatory Database (regdb) or wpa_supplicant configuration for Austria is outdated or incorrectly flagged as "6GHz Disabled," despite Austria fully adopting EU decision (EU) 2021/1067 allowing LPI use in the 5945–6425 MHz band.Technical Evidence & Reproduction:Working State (Country Code: 00):After a factory reset or specific reboot conditions, adb shell cmd wifi get-country-code&n

(Not sure this is the right board — couldn't find a category for classic Facebook/Instagram Graph API developer registration. Posting here in case someone can redirect me.) Hi, I'm trying to register as a developer at developers.facebook.com to create an Instagram app linked to my business Page, but the process gets stuck in an infinite loop. What happens: after completing the verification step (email, phone, or credit card) and the "About you" step (selecting "Owner/Founder"), the registration never finalizes — it silently loops back to the "Verify account" step, with no error message, over and over. What I've already tried, with no success: - Different browsers (Chrome and Edge) - Incognito and regular sessions - Mobile phone on cellular data (different network) - Two different Facebook accounts - A credit card already added to the account - Waited several days and tried again Linked Page: Professora Aline Rodrigues Started: 09/10/2026, still happening as of today (09/14/2026) I see

My PCVR app crashes after invoking xrDestroySwapchain in the latest version of the Meta OpenXR runtime. It doesn't matter what kind of swapchain, just calling the method on what should be a perfectly valid swapchain obtained from OpenXR gets me the following error (shown here at the end of the Output window as shown in Visual Studio 2026):14/09 15:46:34.404 [ 33244] {WARNING} [OXR] OXRSessionData::WaitFrame adjusting predictedDisplayTime from 13418299239736 to 13418299239737 14/09 15:46:35.594 [ 33244] {WARNING} [OXR] OXRSessionData::WaitFrame adjusting predictedDisplayTime from 13419493561235 to 13419493561625 The thread 23320 has exited with code 0 (0x0). 14/09 15:46:54.944 [ 33244] {WARNING} [OXR] OXRSessionData::WaitFrame adjusting predictedDisplayTime from 13438839708235 to 13438839709227 14/09 15:47:04.889 [ 33244] {WARNING} [OXR] OXRSessionData::WaitFrame adjusting predictedDisplayTime from 13448783699636 to 13448783701328 14/09 15:47:38.444 [ 33244] {INFO} [OpenXR_OATS] Session

I am able to get code from email when verifying it from developer account, and then it saks questions about you, then when I click on verify, it submits but then again I am taken back to the contact info where you get code from email. I am stuck in a loop right now. I have tried incognito mode, changing browser, changing network but nothing helped

I'm a solo developer trying to get my game onto App Lab, but I keep getting rejected during the organization verification process.I've already submitted all of my registered LLC documents and business information multiple times, but I keep running into the same issue and I'm honestly not sure what Meta is looking for at this point.Has anyone else gone through this successfully? Was there a specific document or step that finally got you approved?I'd really appreciate any advice. I feel like I'm so close to finally getting on App Lab, and this verification process has become my biggest roadblock. Thanks in advance.

Hello Meta Developer Support, I am fully locked out of the Meta for Developers platform, and every self-serve recovery path is also blocked, so I currently have no way to reach the correct team. SYMPTOMS 1. Access token generation fails with:"Failed to generate access token. You're unable to generate access tokens because you violated our Platform Terms or Developer Policies." 2. developers.facebook.com/apps returns:"You cannot access this service."This blocks the entire app list rather than a single app, so there is no app-level alert, no App Review page and no violation detail available for me to inspect. 3. developers.facebook.com/account_status/disputes/ opens as a completely blank white page, so I cannot submit an appeal or a support request. ACCOUNT CONTEXT - Personal Facebook profile: Igor Jovanovic. CRITICAL BUG: Meta for Developers Registration Loop - Complete Registration Sends Me Back to Contact Info Hello Meta Support and Community, I am experiencing the same registration bug that several other users have recently reported. I am unable to complete my Meta for Developers registration. The registration flow works normally until the final step: Register -> Contact Info -> Email Verification -> About You -> Select "Developer" -> Complete Registration My email verification is accepted successfully, and the Contact Info step is marked as completed. However, when I select "Developer" under About You and click "Complete Registration", the registration does not finish. The page briefly shows a step/state change and then sends me back to the previous verification/contact step. The registration is never completed and I cannot access My Apps or create a developer app. Please please kindly assist. I urgently need to attend to issue

I'm developing a 2D Android background app for oculus quest 2, and quest 3 and im having a problem where my app isn't able to see my A, B, X, Y buttons, and my thumbstick movement, no matter if a vr game is focused or not. When monitoring controller inputs through the Android input subsystem or /dev/input/ (getevent):Index triggers (BTN_TL2 / BTN_TR2) and my Grip Triggers (BTN_TL / BTN_TR) register reliably and show up/down states. However, buttons A, B, X, Y and the thumbsticks produce no events at all.My app is supposed to be able to work in the background while i'm playing a game. 2 questions about this:Is this intentional where face buttons and thumbstick movement are routed exclusively through the VR Runtime (VrRuntime / OpenXR) and are hidden or not sent from the standard Linux evdev layer? Is there any supported way or manifest setting that allows a 2D app to receive standard Android KeyEvent or MotionEvent signals for face buttons when it doesn't hold primary OpenXR focu

Was making a developer account when I ran into this issue. Thought it would resolve itself so waited for a day and it's still stuck like this. It keeps looping at contact info and about you constantly. Click "Get Started" on the  developers.facebook.com starting page bring me straight to this.Asked Meta AI for help and tried the following things.Tried registering in incognito, loads me into the loop.Tried deleting the site settings and cookies in chrome. Loading back into it loads directly into the loop.Tried on Phone.Gave 24+ Hours between attempts as well. Can't report a bug in developers.facebook.com because I can't login. No other place I can reach out for help.

Developer registration loops to Verify account after SMS success - cannot access My Apps

I'm trying to register a new Meta for Developers account (email: greenparrotsolutions@gmail.com). The email verification step completes successfully, but on the "About You" step, selecting any role (e.g., Developer) and clicking "Complete Registration" loops back instead of finishing.Additionally, resending the verification email always returns the same code (e.g., 07434) instead of a new one.Already tried: clearing cache/cookies, incognito mode, disabling extensions, allowing pop-ups/redirects, multiple resend attempts — issue persists every time.Would appreciate help resolving this or having the account manually verified.if i enters the code , iam getting same code again and again if i enters the code , role pop up opensif i choose any roles also its again loops to contact info registration page     pleease help to resolve this

Hi Meta team, I’m trying to create a Meta for Developers account to use the official APIs for my Facebook Page and Instagram.   The issue is: Register > phone OTP received and accepted > Contact info > About you > Complete Registration > sent back to Verify account.   I have already:   -Verified the phone number and email in Accounts Center -Enabled Facebook 2FA -Confirmed the Instagram account is Professional and connected to the Facebook Page -Tried both normal Chrome and Incognito -Tried the Meta Pay phone-number workaround   The SMS verification itself works, but registration never completes.   I also cannot report this through Developer Support because submitting a support request appears to require an existing Developer account.   Could you please advise the immediate next step or redirect the issue to the appropriate support channel/team for this registration issue? Please keep in mind that I am unable to create a bug ticket in develo
