trying to understand the testing section of this document: https://developers.meta.com/horizon-worlds/learn/documentation/typescript/api-references-and-examples/world-broadcast/overview i'ver added the simple asset but have no idea if it works.it says: "Testing You can test your changes in two ways: In-editor - This is the easiest workflow for checking changes as you work. Set up a trigger (e.g., a trigger zone) that activates your camera scripting when a player enters it. This allows you to see your cameras in the editor. Remember to disable this trigger before publishing! The frameworks we’ve provided has Debug Mode toggles to help with this. With real instances - When you’re ready to start integration, Meta can set up a Draft stream visible only to the world’s creators. Draft channels show only instances that the creator(s) are in. An instance can take up to 5 minutes to be prepared and selected for streaming—we’re working to reduce this delay. The Stream Controller can on

Hello all, I'm starting an AR Unreal 5.6.1 app with the Meta Quest 3. I'm trying to figure out how to scan my (real) environment and do raycasting against the room mesh. The Scene docs page points me over to the MRUK page. The MRUK page says to call LoadSceneFromDeviceAsync. When I do that my App crashes, and I pulled the .log file off my Android/<project> folder on my device and it had no callstack. So I started reverse engineering the setup done in the "Core" level in MRUtilityKitSample. The thing is, I can't get scene scans to work in the Sample on the Quest 3 either. On the Quest 2, it forced me to manually draw walls and furniture but then I was able to use the raycast modes, identify the main wall, etc. On the Quest 3, it takes me to the room auto-scanner but then when I return to the MRUKSample app the Room Details widget says there are 0 rooms loaded and none of the core demo modes seem to do anything.I noticed that Core.umap -> SetupRoom is using a deprecated node

Unfortunately, despite the Meta Horizon v243 Release Notes, there is no changePage function. Is there a workaround or is this going to be added on Monday hours before the contest deadline?I could certainly use this function and was coding some features to use it when I noticed the function was missing from the API.

For the past two years, I’ve been saying “Okay Meta” as the wake word on my Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses — and it’s always worked perfectly. After updating my Gen 2 Wayfarer to version 19.1, though, the glasses no longer respond properly. The LED lights up and you hear the activation sound, but it shuts off almost immediately. Say “Hey Meta”, the official wake word, and everything works as normal. When I switch to my Gen 1 Headliner, “Okay Meta” still works fine with version 19.1.Has anyone else noticed this change? It may be that Meta was previously more liberal in recognising slight variations of the official wake word, and that the Gen 2 firmware is now stricter in how it maps and processes them. After updating to v19.1, I thought I’d broken Meta Assistant functionality. Relieved I tried a slightly different wake word — more by accident than design!I’m having to unlearn a habit built over the past two years. With the wake word change, saying “Hey Meta” instead of “Okay Meta” feels unnatu

I'm using the OVRInteractionComprehensive building block as the basis of my project with a distance grab block. I then added the HandPose Features to use 2 preset hand poses (Rock and stop) and this automatically added a second OVRInteractionComprehensive block to manage these poses.I've now added a basic menu but can't get either ray interaction or poke interaction to function on the menu buttons. It seems the previous two blocks already in use in the project are blocking the event system from working. When I add a canvas it won't add an event system. Can anyone suggest the best way forwards and point me at a tutorial that might help. Thanks!

After update v81.Wifi is turn off and cant be activeted. Hold power buttom to restart app dont work. Restart i meny dont work. Should i factoryreset?

im trying to install this game but it just tells me to go to meta quest support and it couldnt install. ive tried restarting my headset and computer. does anyone know how to fix this?

NoesisGUI has a RichText formatting option but this does not seem to be supported by Horizon Worlds. Is there some way to get bold or italic in NoesisGizmo panels?

Hello,Is there a limit on the numbers of entitlements a player can get?Not asking about the quantities but about the SKU.We are making a game in which we would like to sell skins, but unfortunately, it seems that after the 20th purchase (by purchase, read "grantItemToPlayer"), the 21st is "overwriting" the 1st, making a kind of rotation of purchased items. Is that an intended effect?Has "getPlayerEntitlements" a pagination system to use? Thanks :)Sylafrs (@Virtuallyz)

I recently restarted by subscription for the Supernatural Fitness game which is $100 and some change. Was charged twice within 4 days of each purchase. Is there any support group I can contact for this?

I have registered for the early access program for the live AI feature. I also received a notification in the app that tells me to take one more step to start using this feature and when I tap the notification it takes me to the settings but there is no button or slider or anything to enable live AI.Has anyone experienced similar issues or can tell me where to activate the early access feature? Or did it already drown in the new updates since the freature is ready for late access or general access within the next few months?

[Note as of 12/6/2025 - For me, this was fixed by the latest update to the Horizon Link software, and joining the Beta Channel is no longer needed.]The Problem: As of 11/26, I no longer get any audio through my Quest3 headset while I'm connected to my Win11 PC via AirLink. This has worked for me for years, and this is the first time I've had an issue with it. The only change I'm aware of, is that I did a 'Repair' using the Oculus Installer to solve a different issue I was having (a "can't find OculusClient.exe" error). After the Repair (which looked successful), I started having this audio issue. To be clear, audio works fine for me in the headset when I'm not connected over AirLink. Once in AirLink, I get no audio from any desktop Oculus app that I run. I've tested a few. When I leave AirLink, I get local audio in my headset again.Solutions I've Tried: There are a fair number of support threads on this kind of issue here and in Reddit, and I believe I've Googled and found them all. No

Help.... what happen to the pass through button on nav bar on release v83, I can't find it so I can not turn off pass through. Did they hide it somewhere I can't find??

Yesterday, I received the v83.1083 universal interface update (non PCVR) on my Quest 3 and also the v83.0.0.269.349 Meta Quest Link app update. I also updated the Oculus drivers, as requested by the app. I rebooted my PC and headset. After the update, I played Elite Dangerous via AirLink all day with no problem. Then I put my PC and headset to sleep and went to bed. Today, when I start the Link dashboard, I hear the "swoosh" start-up sound, but there is no background "void" sound, and no menu sounds. I can't hear any PCVR games in my headset. If I switch the output device to be my Jabra earphones, I can hear the Link dash menu sounds and PCVR games correctly. So, it seems that the Oculus Virtual Audio Device or the Audio Processing Object is misbehaving, even though Windows Device Manager shows that "the device is working properly". I double-checked that I have the correct audio input and output devices set in Windows and in the Meta Quest Link app, as well as the correct settings for

I been trying find File back update for scripting and it didn't appear when i start new world. What can I do? it didnt show any update world

Not sure if this is the best place to post this, but we are running into an issue with our player persistent variables not saving data between sessions while a player is in our recently Published world. We have confirmed the following:Saving and loading works fine in the Editor (and has for months), including between sessions.Saving something from an Editor for a player does successfully get loaded by that player in a Published session.Nothing is being saved from the Published world back to our player persistent variables.Has anyone else encountered an issue like this? Or is there potentially a configuration step we missed when publishing?

Hi, I have 2 colleagues who want to submit for the Meta Horizon Creator Competition: Mobile Innovation and applied to MHCP about a week ago in order to do that. The page mentions an expedited process for the contest, could they expect to hear back before submission date next week potentially? I'd like to be able to build worlds with them. Cheers

Hi, I’m new to Unity VR development and I’m running into some issues with the splash behavior in my project.Right now, on launch, the default Meta system splash (the one with the three dots) appears first. Then my Unity splash image shows up and moves into the center of the view. Unity seems to spawn the splash image based on the headset’s initial yaw at power on and then it rotates to face forward. This also affects my in-game starting orientation.I have two questions about this:1. How can I make Unity respect the current yaw (headset orientation) at app launch? At the moment this also breaks my XR Origin’s starting rotation — for example, instead of the Z axis being forward for the player, the X axis becomes forward which breaks the whole gameplay. I found a workaround for it but It would be much better to prevent it instead of fixing it.2. How can I override or customize the default Meta splash? I’ve seen games where their logo/name appears merged with the Meta splash. Those also se

In case someone is struggling to reset the rotation of a Transform which is controlled by a OneGrabRotationTransformer, the only way I've found to achieve that is what's done in this post: Reset a "One grab rotate transformer" | Meta Community Forums - 1269247. TLDR; Create your own OneGrabRotateTransformer, and implement the login in it's EndTransform-method, where you'll be able to fully reset the internal state of the transformer.public void EndTransform(){var targetTransform = _grabbable.Transform;targetTransform.localEulerAngles = Vector3.zero;_relativeAngle = 0.0f;_constrainedRelativeAngle = 0.0f;}I'm hoping this gets support in the SDK...

Hi, I’m developing a Meta Quest app and recently ran into an issue with PC Link disconnecting. Until about a month ago, stopping Play mode in Unity did not cause PC Link to disconnect. Hi!I have the Quest 2 software update issue (headsets to be unresponsive and unable to start up correctly).I still have a device that is unresponsive, but can't go forward in the help steps due to an error of the serial number. The message says:Invalid serial number. Check that you provided the correct serial number for your Meta Quest 2 headset.I got the SN directly from the QR in my headset, so I am 100% the number is correct.Investigating this issue I found another problems:https://auth.meta.com/settings/my/devices/ gets me in an infinite loop of "To continue, you must confirm your account. CONTINUE WITH FACEBOOK", when selecting the "devices" link, so I can't use this.In my Meta Horizon App, my headset is visible and I'm able to configure settings, I can also see the Serial Numbers for the controllers but can't see any for the headset, just a version number (really long numbers code) and a MAC address. On the browser is strange as well as I can't see my heads

I'm having trouble getting started with the Horizon Creator Program.  I am 22 years old and based in Mexico City (which, as far as I know, is not a restricted country). My Meta Quest profile shows that my account is in good standing and compliant with the rules.  I am currently studying Electrical Engineering at UNAM (C.U. campus). While I am not yet an established developer, I have experience creating skins and programed maps in other platforms, and my goal is to become a content creator in Meta Horizon Worlds — starting with Meta Horizon Worlds for Desktop, custom clothing and more.  Together with my partner, who is developing sports content and blogs, we plan to create virtual spaces where her community can gather, and integrate digital merchandise to conect with our comunity in Instagram.  Given this background, I would like to understand if there is any limitation or issue with my eligibility, since I believe I should at least have the possibility to access and
