Solved

I've finally been making progress with NoesisGUI - I can load text from the dataContext object in TypeScript and handle button clicks. But has anyone been able to load an image in response to a button click? The image Source tag does not seem to accept a string value.

I have tried using direct input element queries, but inputElement.properties.value or inputElement.value is always empty. After a lot of debugging, I found that the input can be captured through direct signal access, like below:      const doc = this.panelDocument;      const textInput = doc.getElementById('checklist-text-input');      if (textInput && textInput.currentSignal) {        const newText = String(textInput.currentSignal.v ?? '').trim();        item.text = newText;      }However, this seems like a hack, and I did not find any way to set the input value dynamically through any properties. I would like to know if there is a proper way to manipulate the input with UIKitML.

I want to share my frustrating experience with Meta Support and highlight an important issue regarding consumer rights and time zones. I live in Australia and recently participated in Meta’s referral program. My friend activated his headset on December 25th, but Meta Support is claiming he activated it on the 24th, likely due to their system operating on US time zones. However, here in Australia, our time zone is ahead, and the activation clearly happened on the 25th. Despite providing all the evidence, Meta has dismissed my claim, which I believe is unfair and shows a lack of understanding or consideration for international customers. As a company selling products in Australia, Meta is required to comply with Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Under ACL, promotional incentives like referral programs must be honored if the conditions are met, and customers should not be penalized for issues like time zone discrepancies or technical errors on their end. I believe this is

Immer wieder. An welcher Einstellung kann das liegen?

I used to be able to set up a boundary, but it will no longer let me do so.  Here's the process that I take, and the results:Power on the Meta Quest 2Go to Settings.  The tile for Boundaries shows the status as "Off"Choose Boundaries.  The current boundary is a stationary boundary (a circle on the floor)Choose to create a boundaryDraw the boundary.  I am able to do thisConfirm that the boundary is correctIt takes me back to the Settings page.  When I look at the Boundaries tile, it still shows as off.  My boundary is still a stationary boundary.I used to be able to draw a boundary in this room, but no longer can.  Has anyone seen this before and know what to do?  Thanks in advance for your help!

Hallo.

I have some sort of random glitch when the Quest3 headset (v81.1034) wakes from sleep. Sometimes it only shows passthrough, and the menu to select which user profile to use does not appear. If I press the sleep button a few times, the profile menu appears for a fraction of a second and then disappears and goes into passthrough mode again. So, when this glitch occurs, I am unable to select my user profile to log in to the Quest 3.If I double-tap the headset to exit passthrough, it tries to load my new Immersive Home but fails to load because I have not been able to select any profile, so it gets stuck in load screen limbo:From here, all I can do is restart the headset, which fixes the problem temporarily. This glitch has happened 3 times in the past 3 days since getting the V81.1034 (non PTC) update on 21 October.I've already reported this glitch to Meta via the headset bug reporting option.UPDATE: the glitch happened again just now. I pulled the headset away from my face slightly and no

Hello,I used to be able to play on my VR with a link cable perfectly fine, but I recently got a new computer, and it doesn't work. I checked the requirements and my PC meets them without question, but whenever I try to connect the headset, my computer gives me messages like "Meta Quest Link isn't working correctly. Click here to check our support article." I checked that article, but nothing seemed to help. The Quest program on my computer shows that my headset is connected and ready to launch, and so does my headset, but when I launch it through the link cable, it just doesn't load, and it stays on a black screen. I've also tried connecting my headset through a USB hub instead of the actual computer to connect it through USB 3, but it still doesn't work.Is there any way I can troubleshoot it?Thank you!

Hello,I am having a technical issue where my account updates are not syncing to the public store page. I suspect my account data is stuck in a cache. Can a Community Manager please DM me so I can share my account details for a check?

I noticed recently there was a change to my capacity meter in that it is now showing lower figures than expected. My mesh/vertex count was 135% and now showing as 55%, simulation and animation was 75% and now is 28% - is this a glitch or have we somehow been given more capacity? I haven’t made any major changes to the world that would account for such a drop in ‘usage’ (Witch Woods Hollow) so a little confused! 😵‍💫 anyone experiencing the same?

Hello! I'm a developer based in Singapore with an account with a good standing and I'm  above the age of 18. However when applying for the Meta Horizon Creator Program I keep getting this errorWe're Sorry!Unfortunately, you don't currently meet the minimum eligibility to join the Meta Horizon Creator Program. In order to join the program you must be 18+, reside in a supported country, and have a Meta account in good standing."Is Singapore not part of the supported countries? Thank you!

I Generated about 6 items today after having to wait 24+ hours for the system to start working again and I'm already getting the "Cannot generate that" when I put in a prompt. What exactly is the limit? Did it change recently? Also having issues generating in the desktop editor. Picture for example:

Suddenly, after the last desktop editor update, a strange white circle with a black outline appeared in the center of my 3D model. It was not present when I worked on this world for days and also not in the published version. But yesterday when I visited the world on mobile this circle appeared out of nowhere and I can't seem to find  a way to get rid of it.Maybe someone knows a solution or is experiencing the same? It's visible on mobile, web and in the editor, haven't checked VR yet. Link to world: Avatar Clothing  Below is a screenshot:And it's even there after deleting lights, models, etc.

I didn't use my headset for a while but left it on the charging dock. It looks like they auto -updated the system to the newest version .( Auto- update check and sleep mode update are checked . ) V71 seems to have completely broken my left controller. It won't pair again , and it's not tracking at all .Actually , the V71 controller update caused the issue . They were paired and connected when the system update was completed . But after the controller update, the left controller started not working , and the controller icon turned into a "not connected " icon when the update was finished .Strangely, It was showing "Left controller is connected" via bubble messages. To try to fix the issue, I tried to reboot my left controller , and it connected for 2 - 3 seconds, during which I saw the dot at menu that tracking was working for a very brief moment before the disconnected icon appeared on the UI panel again. I decided do clean process steps from online guides .1.

I was sent a email last week for a $100 off meta glasses but it never worked because i clicked on it immediately. When i contacted customer service they told me it was sent in error but i think i should still get some type of discount at least...

Yesterday while building a world, I tried to test the NPC AI Character Generator in the desktop editor. I attempted several times to select that option, but it appeared grayed out/almost unavailable. I tried both the standalone desktop editor and the Link/Meta desktop editor, and had the same issue in both. Is anyone else experiencing this? If so, how do I resolve it? I’m trying to add special NPC characters to the world I’m currently building and would really like to get this in for the holiday, so any information or timing guidance would be very helpful

I bought a second-hand quest 2 from my friend a few days ago, everything was working fine until it prompted to update, I had to go to school so I left it on the charger and let it update, it hasn't worked properly since. I've tried factory resetting, I've cleaned the facial sensor tried sideloading the update from my pc multiple times nothing, the only thing that works is when I start casting the device to my phone, for some reason it works fine then? Is there a solution to this, It'll stop working again when I stop casting.

Hello guys! I bought the game Walkabout Mini Golf. A few days later I bought the Bundle Hole in One. All games in the bundle are shown to me as installed and purchased in the store. But in the game I can't choose it. It is indicated in the game that I should buy it. I click on it, nothing happens. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it. No change. I can't claim my money back because it's paired with the base game and it's been played for more than two hours! I am neither able to play the bundle nor get my money back! What can I do?

I was working on a design for a pair of avatar shorts.  In the recent update to the avatar Bottoms templates, the template I was using is no longer listed as a bottom.  Can you add it back, please? The template is of some athletic shorts. Please see the attached images and files. Video of missing shorts

the horizon/npc script API doesnt work in Australia due to legal restrictions. This isnt just limited to AI voices, but all of NPC functionality. Will NPCs ever be available in Australia? Its a very big hindrance to anyone making worlds outside US to go without it. Is there a list somewhere of countries where NPC api will and will not be available or any docs about it?

Hi everyone. When i try to get Avatar Clothing page, it bring me in a not available page. I'm from Italy. By any chance it isn't available for Italy?

Sooooo... I've only had my Quest 2 for 6-8 weeks. Recently, I started having issues where each time I boot the headset, it says "Lost Tracking"... yadda yadda yadda. I am able to work around this by simply waiting until I get to the main lobby, go into setting and turn Tracking back on. It seems to work fine for that session. But every time I turn the unit off, the next time I boot I have to go through the same thing. I reached out to support a week or so ago and they said to perform a Factory Reset. Well, I tried that but it didn't work and it was late. So I have been dealing with my work around since.    Next, I have begun to have issues with In Death - Unchained where the game tile just says "syncing" and you can never launch the game. Again, I found a work around by going to the store and simply running it from there. I do get a warning, something about possible progress being lost, yadda yadda yadda. Reading some of the posts about this issue, seems like the same fix...

Running into lots of problems. It started with no app being able to load. I kept getting the Wait or Close app pop and my left controller would connect no matter what I tried. So then I felt forced to do a factory reset. Now I can’t pair my device to the app. Says no device found (I’m on same WiFi networks). When I tried the support option and entered my serial number for my Quest 3S it said support is not supported for this device??

I just updated to the newest Meta Quest Link software. Now on online multiplayer games, specifically Onward (on Quest Link) and Forefront (on SteamVR) have an issue where the right eye display is completely thrown/scaled/sized/warped incorrectly, its actually pretty nauseating. Weirdly it didn't do this with Into the Radius (on Quest Link) or CONVRGENCE (on SteamVR). When I switched the OpenXR runtime to SteamVR instead of Quest Link, the issue stopped on Forefront. I tried disabling asynchronous spacewarp and sliced encoding and that didn't fix the problem. Onward still displays fine on stand-alone. I tried running the repair function on the Quest Link setup exe but that did not fix the issue. Additionally, I ran Forefront on my PSVR2 with the PC adapter and it displayed fine.Idk if it's important, but for reference, I have a Radeon GPU (RX 7800 XT), which to my knowledge sometimes struggles with VR related software support. Although, because the direct-to-DP PSVR2 worked fine, I don'

Hi All,Solved: Repair the installation of the Oculus PC app by running the installer again and selecting repair. Mine took two attempts, as the first repair crashed mid-repair.Problem: When using Air Link to play wireless PCVR, I have no sound though the headset speakers or through headphones that are plugged into the headset. I DO have sound under all other circumstances and conditions, including playing PCVR via steam link and virtual desktop, and the headset by itself.   I am unable to locate any existing advice that goes beyond the following settings, which all appear to be in line with recommendations. I doubt it matters, but my hardware is as follow:Microsoft Windows 10 Pro, Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045Meta Link App Version 62.0.0.235.346 (62.0.0.235.346)CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700xMemory: 16GB DDR4 Mobo: TUF Gaming x570-PLUSGPU: PNY GeForce RTX® 4080 16GB XLR8 Gaming Verto Epic-X What I've tried:reinstalling Oculus on
