I would love Meta to offer an option and incentive to take monetization income as a credit towards advertising rather than as a payout. I see no reason to accept taxable income to send it straight back to the same account to boost content and place ads.

HiI lost access to bonus tab, but I still can access reward tab as usual, is this a bug?

Hello,We are currently developing a military PC VR simulationWe are building a UE5-based simulation environment where the physical world and virtual simulation map must be precisely aligned. During development, we encountered several critical technical issues and would like to request your support. This is a simulation video we are making.https://youtube.com/shorts/01MnXlDY9Lk?si=JYbkpQ3iBNEAtmIRRemoval of Double-Tap Passthrough Option in Quest OS v81+Our device is updated to Quest OS V83.Previously, the Passthrough menu included a setting to toggle Passthrough by double-tapping the headset. However, this option seems to have been removed starting from v81.During playing:  When user fire the Gas Gun, the physical recoil sometimes hits the headset  This accidentally user the Double-Tap Passthrough, switching the view unexpectedly  This is a critical issue during live, high-focus simulation sessionsQuestions:- Was this removal intentional or is it a known bug?- Is there any

Been using the new v83 (I think) launcher with the display which features the offset library app rows for the last few days and it's been great until I shut the headset down yesterday and let it do an update of some sort.  Now when the headset boots up the two startup apps which usually great me don't execute so I just have an empty screen.  When I press the horizon (infinity) controller button the library menu comes up with all my installed apps, but none of them will startup when I click them.  All this was working fine yesterday before the update.  I shut it down every evening and let it do an update if needed.More detail:On the left of the menu, the "Search" icon does not work, but the "Menu" Filter icon does and shows the All, Horizon+, Hidden, Prototypes, Unknown Sources and Downloads options.  Below the Filter icon, the "Open Store" link is unresponsive and doesn't bring up the store when clicked. The bottom line of icons on the menu is not very responsiv

As the title states I cant download the app. After doing some research I found the existence of the Oculus log file and I get the following error:[Warning] [11/16/2025 4:31:12 PM] SSL certificate failed validation![Error] [11/16/2025 4:31:12 PM] Error fetching / parsing config.\nSystem.AggregateException: One or more errors occurred. ---> System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: An error occurred while sending the request. ---> System.Net.WebException: The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel. ---> System.Security.Authentication.AuthenticationException: The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure.Ive cleared my SSL cache in internet options and that didnt help. My time, date, and time zone are correct as well. Anyone have this issue and a solution for it? Its crazy to me that this has to be this complicated. Ive never once in my life been unable to download anything. Thanks for any help

Hi, I used the app studio tool to create a short instruction board.  I deleted it, re-downloaded the tool and the text showed up but it's not lined up like it looked in the app studio tool. Also what is that brown background behind my image? that background was not there initially.this is a snipit of how it looks in the studio tool and the following show how it looks inside the world editor.when I made this bigger the text did show but it's not in the right place.  Also I increased this to 2048 x 2048 and the documentation does not recommend making it that big.  And like I was saying I'm not sure where that brown background is coming from.Thank you

metaThis is not a subjective opinion - bring back the option to disable/enable "Double Tap for Passthrough", forcing it on with no way to disable ruins mixed reality games and limits the creativity of developers working in the MR space. I understand for some applications it may be useful, for others it is the opposite - just bring back the toggle option in the settings, there was no reason to remove it and certainly no reason to FORCE it to be on. Having it as a toggle in the settings as it was in previous patches - was the perfect move. This patch is a regression. v81 introduced a forceful setting "Double Tap for Passthrough" which was in previous patches optional and toggleable by the user.It is now forced ON with no way to disable in the settings. This has broke SEVERAL of the mixed reality games that I play. Some games literally require that I touch my head or bring my hands to my head or shake my head which now forcefully PAUSES the game and renders the entire experience unpla

Dear Meta dev team,Could you please consider releasing an ambisonics to binaural VST/AAX plugin with the Universal HRTF used in Meta Audio SDK so that we sound designers can monitor in our DAW through the same HRTF as the SDK?Alternatively, could you please make your Universal HRTF available for download in the SOFA format so that we could load it in our favorite binaural decoder? The Meta Audio SDK is great overall, but it's really frustrating to sound design in a DAW with a completely different HRTF than the one used for the rendering with the SDK.Thanks a lot for considering this.Best,Come

Hey everyone, I’m kinda stuck here and hoping someone can help me out. My site works fine on Chrome, Firefox, and Edge, but in Quest Browser it just gets caught in this endless redirect loop. It’s happening on my main page lewisestimating.com and I honestly have no idea why. I’ve checked all my HTTPS and redirect settings a million times and everything seems fine. Has anyone seen something like this in Quest before? I’m really lost here and would appreciate any tips or ideas.

Hello Meta Community. How long does it take Meta Horizon to verify my ID? It has been almost 24 hours. I know it says up to 48 but will it take longer?

Hi, Need support from an expernt on how to change the name of my verified Facebook and Instagram pages. The reason for the change is rebranding (Name, Media) While keeping the same business type (Selling Furniture).I have requested the name change and received a notification that it got rejected because meta team couldn't verify the page. How can i resolve this please.

I have reach out to support and keep getting the same repeated messages from different people saying sorry for any inconvenience we are still working on the problem. My account has been like this since May 23 and it's very hard and is taking away the experience to want to continue to be on this headset. PLEASE RESOLVE THIS TODAY!!!

I'm having an issue where my world player list and my welcome to world pop-up message does not work unless I reset my world multiple times. I did receive the sync error on desktop editor so I'm unsure if this is the issue or if it's something else. Has anyone else had this issue?

Hi everyone. Someone can help me to solve the issue of pre-release features that denied me to update my world? Some Creator friend of mine told me that is a question of mixed type of models created with both headset editor and desktop editor. And in fact is like that. Told me that i must check the extension file models. But i don't know how to check it because Gen AI say me that is not possible to have an info of file extensions. In final i'm do not able to find the models that cause the issue.

I'm using the new distance hand grab building block with Grab Relative Too Hand set on import to my Unity project. All works fine for objects close to hand but I need to grab an object further away and it seems to have a very limited distance range function. The documentation suggests I can change the distance in the SelectrumFustrum function but I'm unable to find where that is.Can anyone point me in the right direction please.

Recently tried to link a new controller to my Quest 2. Oculus on phone (which has been updated to 'Meta Quest' refuses to login. I can loginto the Meta Quest site on the laptop - just not the app. I've reinstalled the app and changed passwords but nothing makes any difference. If there's a way to pair a new controller w/out using the app that'd be fine or being able to login to the app would also work.

Hi everyone! I’ve been experimenting with ways to give players a more super-real experience. After attending a gesture recognition session yesterday, I started thinking about removing the hand controllers entirely,  but there’s a problem: without them, I can’t let players move through hand tracking alone. My game includes boss fights that require precise movement to dodge attacks. So I’m wondering, is it currently possible to have one hand use gesture tracking while the other hand uses a controller joystick for movement?

When I invite my account  into the headset it says that it’s on the headset on my phone but it doesn’t show up on my headset

When I cast my Meta Quest 3 to my phone with screen ratio 21:9, I see pretty much nothing of what the person is looking at and I constantly tell them to look down. Then I noticed that even when I record the screen or when I take a screenshot, what I see doesn't align with what's recorded. In the video below I trace the edges of my field of view with my finger. As you can see, there is a large portion of the video that I don't see through my headset and a large portion that I see, but it's not being recorded. Combine that with cropping the video to fit a wide-screen phone and what the person looks at is often beneath what's visible.

I factory reset my quest 2 due to some password issues then when I want to finish configuring the headset with the app it just don't detect the headset but the app thinks it's still linked but the website doesn't

Can the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 use Meta Quest Link?

Hello, I'm trying to install the OculusSetup.exe to be able to use my Oculus Rift S, but every time it is like dowloading it stops at some point and shows a message:Check the connection. There was an error while the instalation, Check your connection and try to run again the Oculus instalation program, If you continue having problems with it, please contack the Oculus help service. And here I am.I already tried to turn on and turn off the wifii and connection by network port, either of them worked, already tried to desactivate all antivirus and run the installation, didn't work, I already restarted my computer, and it still didn't work. I don't know what to do, please help.

Hi everyone 👋I’m working on a browser-only setup for conversion tracking and I’d like to double-check a few details specifically on the Meta side (naming, hashing detection, and what the Pixel actually expects).Contextthe lead/conversion event fires on a thank-you pagethe user data (email, phone, name…) is collected on the previous pageI can’t fire the event on the form page as the tracking wouldn't be always truthfulI don’t have a server / CAPI in this flow, so this is 100% client-sideTo bridge the two pages, I’m doing this:on the form page I collect the user fieldsI normalize them in two ways (Google-style and Meta-style)I hash the Meta-normalized version with SHA-256I temporarily store it in sessionStorageon the thank-you page I read it and want to send it with the Meta Pixel eventSo far, so good. What I’d like to confirm 👇Does the Pixel reliably accept SHA-256 hashed customer data sent via fbq('track', 'Lead', ..., { …customer data… })? In other words: if I send the customer info

Hello! Quick question: if our world ports to another world (e.g, "level 2"), will that still count as one submission per the rules of the Mobile Innovation Competition?

Hello,On June 3rd I sent a gift to a friend and they didn't claim it within the 30 days. It's  been several months and not refund was issued. Is it possible to issue a new code? If not, then a refund needs to be processed soon.Thank you
