I´ve been developing a 360° XR panorama platform to upload, view and share 360° panoramas. You can try it here: https://360.insidethesimulation.net. It´s still in development, so please share your feedback with me via email (martin@insidethesimulation.net) if possible. It supports:- 360° equirectangular panoramas up to 16k resolution- stereoscopic panoramas- favorites and likes- counting views- easy uploading without account (panorama will be deleted after 24 hours)- VR menu to switch panoramas- works on any WebXR headset including Quest 3, 2, 1, Oculus Go, Pico and Vision Pro

We wanted to use Quest (have v2 currently) headsets for showroom VR, but they have proved too complex for none-IT users to deal with, even if you are accustomed to PC tech the way you have to put on the headset and choose the PC link every time is a drag and at times the it's glitchy. Is there any way to mod the headsets to always start up in PC link mode so no in-headset menu navigation is required?

Can I get a passthrough camera stream open while running the Spatial SDK? I modified the Starter Template (https://github.com/meta-quest/Meta-Spatial-SDK-Templates/tree/main/StarterTemplate/app) just to open the camera but it seems to cause the camera to disconnected immediately.I added a startCamera method to run when one of the panels is selected (instead of running the video): private fun startCamera() { if (checkSelfPermission(Manifest.permission.CAMERA) != PackageManager.PERMISSION_GRANTED) { Log.i("MainActivity", "Camera permission not granted") } if (checkSelfPermission("horizonos.permission.HEADSET_CAMERA") != PackageManager.PERMISSION_GRANTED) { Log.i("MainActivity", "horizonos.permission.HEADSET_CAMERA permission not granted") } val cameraManager: CameraManager = getSystemService(Context.CAMERA_SERVICE) as CameraManager val cameraIds: Array = cameraManager.cameraIdList var cameraId: String = "" for (id in c

Hello all, I've been trying to get debug attachment to running process on headset for two days now. I normally use Rider but I had installed and setup VSCode to use the Oculus Debugger.I however was not able to attach a running instance on headset.I get an error where the Oculus Plugin doesn't download the LLDB filesHere is the Log. Create debug adapter with configuration:{"name":"Oculus (Development) Attach","request":"attach","type":"fb-lldb","android":{"application":{"package":"com.example.project","activity":"com.epicgames.unreal.GameActivity"},"lldbConfig":{"librarySearchPaths":["\\\"C:/PROJECT/Binaries/Android/Symbols_arm64\\\""],"lldbPreTargetCreateCommands":["command script import \\\"C:/PROJECT/Engine/Extras/LLDBDataFormatters/UEDataFormatters_2ByteChars.py\\\""],"lldbPostTargetCreateCommands":["process handle --pass true --stop false --notify true SIGILL"]}},"__configurationTarget":5,"terminateCommands":[]}C:\Users\User\.oculus_debugger_runtime Exists!C:\Users\User\.ocul

Hello everyone!I'm developing a networked experience using Unity 6 with Netcode for Gameobjects and the MetaXR SDK. I am trying to get Shared Spatial Anchors working using Colocation so that the players can see the same frame of reference in Mixed Reality.I managed to get Colocation and Shared Spatial Anchor sharing to work but when I try to align my player rig using the Shared Spatial Anchor from the host there is a misalignment in the scene. No obvious errors or warning are being thrown,I am using the code in the documentation as well as a video tutorial from "XR Dev Rob - Colocation with Meta’s Shared Spatial Anchors & the new Colocation Discovery API"  as my main point of reference for my own code.Below is my alignment codeif (await unboundAnchor.LocalizeAsync()) { Debug.Log($"Anchor localized successfully, UUID: {unboundAnchor.Uuid}"); var anchorGameObject = GameObject.Instantiate(_anchorPrefab); var spatialAnchor = anchorGameObject.GetOrAddComponent<OVRSpati

After downloading the latest V-79 version something I noticed that after turning on the headset and after the meta logo disappears the vision gets really glitchy, this did NOT happen before the update.

I have a strong and innovative idea that I'm truly excited about, and I'm eagerly waiting for the right opportunity to present and bring it to life. I'm confident it can make a real impact and I'm ready to contribute with full passion and dedication.please contact me for further details

How to play a sound fx by script? Trying to have a machine play a sound effect and after going down some attempts to getComponent Sound, it seems that you need a special AudioGizmo to do this? I don't see an AudioGizmo in my gizmos?

It's a simple question, in the IsdkSamplePawn, in the EventGrapth, when I add an Enhanced Input Action (for example IA_AButton_Down) ,  when I press the A button nothing happens. What I need is to listing the inputs from the hands or controllers so I can call actions for them ( for example I can build a Teleport sistem taken from the UE Vr Template ). Thanks.

As per titlere-installed/repaired didn't work.

Hi, I'm getting a problem with the distance grab function using the Meta Interaction SDK. Using the Quick Actions, I am adding the utility to my grabbable object. When I test the grab, it works fine the first time. However after the first 'pinch', the second pinch returns the console error 'Setting linear velocity of a kinematic body is not supported'. The resulting behaviour of the grabbable object is that it moves only halfway to my pinching hand and then stops. I'm using the built in render pipeline and the OculusXR plugin.Any help would be great!

I am updating an existing Quest game to use the latest Oculus integration etc. The game runs fine for a minute or so and then the visuals of the game freeze on one frame and the following is repeated on the log. It appears that the game is still running fine in the background because I can hear sounds that suggest that it is running fine, besides the visuals.Warn Adreno-GSL <log_gpu_snapshot:471>: panel.gpuSnapshotPath is not set.not generating user snapshot Warn Adreno-GSL <ioctl_kgsl_syncobj_create:5290>: (45, 33, 2329) fail 22 Invalid argument Warn Vulkan_Utils Vulkan error: vulkanLoader.vkQueueSubmit(VulkanContext.queue, 0, NULL, fenceToUse): 'VK_ERROR_INITIALIZATION_FAILED'(-3) at arvr/projects/xrruntime/mobile/VrRuntime/Client/VrRuntimeClient/VrRuntimeClient.cpp:2625 Warn Adreno-GSL <log_gpu_snapshot:471>: panel.gpuSnapshotPath is not set.not generating user snapshot Warn Adreno-GSL <ioctl_kgsl_syncobj_create:5290>: (45, 33, 2330) fail 22 Invalid argument

I used to receive follower requests – which I could accept or decline – this is how I set it in privacy -center. For a few weeks now, for some reason, I've only been getting notification like this  "@xxxx is now following you. Follow back"? So, my privacy settings gets just ignored?

I’ve been a day one Meta Quest 3 owner and a long-time supporter of this platform. Unfortunately, my experience with Meta Store Support has turned into an absolute nightmare. My original controller failed, and I began an RMA process 41 days ago.The first replacement shipment was destroyed by UPS (not my fault).A second RMA was opened 12 days ago… yet no replacement has shipped.Instead of honoring the warranty in a timely manner, I’ve been stonewalled with vague responses like “wait 24–48 hours for an update” for weeks now.I have spent hours speaking with multiple agents across multiple tickets (Case #08467366 and #08515680) only to receive contradictory or circular answers. At no point has Meta been transparent about what is being investigated, why the process has taken over a month, or when I will actually receive the controller I am entitled to under warranty.Meanwhile, I’m left with unusable hardware despite having invested hundreds of dollars in the Quest 3 ecosystem. As a customer,

Working with UE 5.3.2 I want to increase the MaxUObjectsInGame for an Android device.I already added a Project/Config/Android/DefaultAndroidEngine.ini where I set gc.MaxObjectsInGame and gc.MaxObjectsInProgram.I also looked into calling FUObjectArray::AllocateObjectPool() but I do not know if there is a correct time in my project to do that. The earliest time to do that that I can think of is GameInstance::Init which is too late, since UObjects were already created. It fails at check(ObjObjects.Num() == 0);.Thank you.

ContextUnity + Meta XR Building Blocks. I'm building an AR app (Passthrough + MR Utility Kit). I show a world-space UI dialog above an MRUK table (Canvas in world space, RectTransform placed at the table center + slight lift to sit on the surface -> all via script).SymptomWhenever I push the right controller thumbstick downward, the dialog appears to "jump" ~0.5 m up, and pushing again makes it jump back down. This happened both on the device and in the Simulator. What it actually isIt's not the dialog moving. Logging showed Camera.main.transform.position.y toggling between two values (1.047 <-> 1.547), while the dialog's world Y stayed constant.

I just picked up SimplePlanes VR and noticed something weird. The checkout showed $6.99 with the TAKE30 coupon applied, but I ended up getting charged $9.99.Did anyone else have this happen?

Hi everyone, so I just got my meta quest 3, I want them to play on them but also on pcvr, the problem comes when I install the meta que link on my PC, and suddenly appears that my pc doesn't fulfill the minimum components to do PCVR, but here comes the weird thing my pc has a  Ryzen 5 series 7000, an RTX 4050, 16 gb DDR5, and a 1TB storage, I have try everything, force oculus client to use my dedicated graphics card, not the integrated graphics, change some specifications on how does the graphics card interact with programs and games, y have change some settings so I could play No Mans Sky VR, by steam, but nothing works, the message keps appearing, my game goes like trash even tho I put the settings on low (standar), the debug tool its set on 200 to 300 mb of data transfer, I been trying leveling that up, but if I do that the game won't even start, games like the forest and half-life Alyx crash suddenly with barely 10 min gameplay..I just want to enjoy my oculus, but this is very

I'm very new to this world and learning curve is real. I've been teaching myself Unity all summer for an art exhibit in two weeks where I plan to have this VR project. It's close, but I can't seem to get the controllers to interact with the UI Buttons and change scenes. I have four UI canvases (each with a UI button child) that will connect to the 4 different scenes.  I started with Unity's XR Interaction Toolkit and switched to Meta Interaction and using Building blocks hoping it would simplify the process. I've read so many different ways to get the ray to change scenes, but so far it isn't working. At this point, I think I have too many components on my game objects so I'm not sure how to troubleshoot. On the one UI Canvas I'm testing, I have graphic raycaster, tracked device graphic raycaster, pointable canvas. On the UI Button I have a button component with OnClick set to the scene via SceneLoader script (which was working with mouseclick, but now its not), Pointabl

Hi everyone,I'm setting up a world to be remixed (based on the Modular Tycoon Engine) and have a question about the correct workflow for UI assets. In this engine, the UI panels (like the HUD, Shop, etc.) are not placed in the world Hierarchy. Instead, they are linked as Asset properties on a central GameManager script, which then spawns a unique copy for each player when they join.My question is: When someone remixes my world, how do they edit these UI assets? Will they receive their own editable copies of my UI asset templates in their Asset Library? I'm concerned that because the UIs aren't static objects in the Hierarchy, a remixer won't be able to find and modify them. Can anyone confirm that linking the asset templates to a script property is the correct way to ensure they are properly cloned and editable for remixers? Thanks for the help!

It seems that the support of Select HTML tags is broken in latest versions of browser (problem detected on OS v79, browser v40.1).  When user clicks on a Select control, the browser briefly displays the list associated to the control but it immediately disappears. The issue can be reproduced with many different websites (e.g.  https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml_optgroup , https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Reference/Elements/select )

Hi everyone, I’d like to get some advice on how to manage version numbers. My game is currently at version 1.1.2. After this, I’m planning to add a completely different new mode (which connects to the main story). How should I arrange the versioning for this mode? If the mode includes a full set of 9 stages but I plan to release them one by one, how should the version numbers be handled then? Right now, I’m leaning toward making the full version 2.0, but I don’t have much experience in this area, so I’m not sure if that’s appropriate.

Hello, in the Interaction SDK sample if I use controller driven hands and try to grab the mug I can pick up the mug by pressing the controller side button, but it just "sticks" to my hand and the custom grab poses are never triggered. Pure hand tracking does trigger the custom poses. Are custom grab poses supported for controller driven hands? I'm currently using the "Hands Only" procedural controller hand behavior on my VR pawn blueprint. I would like to grab objects while holding a controller, but still use the custom poses so the virtual hand wraps around the objects more naturally. I'm using a Quest 3 headset and Unreal 5.5 with the Meta interaction SDK plugin v77.

Hello,I have just purchased a Quest 3, and am attempting to get it running on my PC via the Meta Quest Link app. When I open the app it immediately tells me "Your computer doesn't meet the updated minimum specifications, which can lead to a poor experience in VR. Learn More". If I follow the link to read about the minimum/recommended requirements I see that I definitely meet all the requirements, and my drivers are up to date.  (although this shows the requirements for the Rift and Rift S, which I guess is a little out dated now?) Tried repairing the Quest Link App, restarting, all the automatically suggested solutions. It also gives me a really hard time connecting (either with the link cable or the airlink). Half the time it freezes on the loading screen, and 1/3rd of the time it opens in the Quest 3 then immediately disconnects. i7-13700K, 32 GB DDR5 Ram, RTX 4070, 2 TB SSD, Windows 11 home, GeForce Game Ready Driver 576.52.
