I'm experiencing a persistent issue trying to access my Meta account—the one I use with my headset. Every time I attempt to log in, I'm prompted for a 2-factor authentication (2FA) code (OTP), but I never receive the code on my phone, I don't have the recovery codes as well. I've exhausted all troubleshooting: attempting login from different devices, browsers, and networks. To rule out problems with my number, I tested receiving OTPs from other, non-Meta services, and those arrive instantly—so the issue is clearly on Meta's side. I even tried accessing my account via the account center with Facebook and Instagram, but still hit the same 2FA roadblock. What makes this even more frustrating is the lack of support: live chat appears to be gone, and posting here requires being logged in. How are users locked out supposed to get help? I had to make a brand new Meta account just to raise this issue. There needs to be an open channel for locked-out users who can’t get through 2FA. Please advi

Good Afternoon,Unreal Engine Version: 5.5.4Meta Interaction SDK Version: v77.0.0We've set up a IsdkHandRigComponent on our Pawn and are using ray interactions to highlight and select objects in a scene. We want to disable the Ray Interactor during parts of the level so that the player isn't able to interact with objects, but we haven't found a solution yet. We've tried disabling the interactable but the cursor still appears when the player hovers the hand over the object. We've considered simply disabling the niagara systems that the UIsdkRayVisualComponent uses but that seems like a bandaid rather than an actual solution. Is there any way to disable the interactor on the pawns side? We've come across the UIsdkConditional class which might be what we're looking for but can't find any supporting documentation/samples to figure out how to use it.Cheers

Hello, I would like to know if there is a place on the forum or Discord to publish the packages we create and to be able to find packages made by others.Right now, they can only be seen in the editor, and with all the content being uploaded, it’s often not possible to clearly see the useful packages. It would be good if there were a section here or on Discord, or even better on both, where people could publish their packages and provide a clear explanation of how they work, similar to the tutorials in the documentation section.

The meta app shows secondary child account as paired to headset.  Profiles in headset does not show the secondary account.   I’ve tried adding the profile via email link.  But the Link request remains even after completion on the app. Also tried just pairing child account on app.  Always shows on app that the profile is paired.  Never becomes available in headset.Multiple factory resets.  Deleted first child account, made a new one.  Still the same problem.  Tech support has been unable to find a solution.  This is my last ditch effort before I just return it and get my money back.

I'm planning on getting the 3s but I don't know how to transfer my data that doesn't have a cloud backup

How do you change the image that shows up for your world like the cool Horizon thumbnail?

For quick iterations and prototyping, I depend on the building blocks version of the OVRCameraRig, which in the past used to be so that depending on your needs, you could add it to your scene with one click and then customize it according to your needs (i.e. passthrough or physics grab etc) Now, there is one bloated version that comes with EVERYTHING including a locomotion controller that adds things like vignette and the setup has so many complext dependencies, you cannot just delete/disable the relevant parts under interactors in the hierarchy. Is there a bloat free version like in the past, where I can simply add a hand grab functionality without adding 8 different interactors (simultaneous hand + controller etc)?Working with Meta Interaction SDK V77 in Unity 6.

How can we remove uninstalled apps or games from the library? For example, Beat Saber demo + full version are installed and I want to remove the uninstalled demo. There are other apps I want to remove that aren't demos.

I currently need to link the player's Meta account to our game using the Unity Meta XR Platform SDK for login purposes. After passing the application permission check, the player's ID can be obtained through the Users.GetLoggedInUser() method. However, the Token cannot be obtained using the Users.GetAccessToken() method. This method always returns an empty result. Could you please tell me if I have not configured something correctly or if there is any missing step?

Any updated methods to remove the permissions automatically added by Unity (which are unneeded by my app)?Talking about this issue in particular: https://communityforums.atmeta.com/t5/Unity-Development/Your-manifest-includes-the-following-permissions-restricted-by/m-p/960334#M20612Here's another "magical" way to fix it: https://skarredghost.com/2021/03/24/unity-unwanted-audio-permissions-app-lab/

Hello All,This is my first post in the Creator Forum and my first question for a  problem I am completely stumped on. However, something tells me that I will have more. 🤐I am trying to create a card game. In the game the card needs to flip over. I have tried everything I know. I have a collidable cube that I am using as the card. I have written the script. I have updated the settings in Properties. I have written the script, but nothing I do seems to work. It doesn't even seem to recognize the script settings. It seems to just focus on the Property settings.I am using the Desktop Editor and not Unity. I think that right there is part of the problem too. I want to use Unity. I keep hearing it's so much better and so much easier but A) I don't want to spend the $200, B) the personal free one I don't think will allow me to do all of the things the paid one will and C) I am concerned that if I now switch to Unity I will have to recreate my world. What happens now is when the Avatar wa

Hey, I have been performing really well and my words have more than doubled very nearly tripled the required threshold for promotion to creator partner. I have received multiple rewards for mobile users too. How can I get promoted?

I am messing with simple visibility culling script and I noticed that while switching visibility works on any entity in the Desktop Editor, it doesn't work on static entities (with Movement set to None) when testing in Meta Quest devices online. Is it a bug?

V78.1031 build 5105226.11950.520 138MB not showing installed after updating, and then shows up multiple times as software update for quest3 and quest pro this keeps happening. attached is the screen presented in both quest 3 and quest pro.  i'll fill out a "report a problem" on mobile app but: anyone else ? anything about this? thank you!

In Depth-API sample, I notice that in ShowDepthMap.shader, it suggest that switching different code in shader. fixed4 frag (Interpolators i) : SV_Target { UNITY_SETUP_STEREO_EYE_INDEX_POST_VERTEX(i); float3 uv = float3(i.uv, 0);//just show one texture so we don't get eye strain fixed4 col = _PreprocessedEnvironmentDepthTexture.Sample(sampler_PreprocessedEnvironmentDepthTexture, uv); //Uncomment the line below and comment the line above to change between the preprocessed depth texture and the raw depth texture // fixed4 col = _EnvironmentDepthTexture.Sample(sampler_EnvironmentDepthTexture, uv); col.rgb = float3(col.r, col.r, col.r); col.a = 1; return col; }I want to now what's the differece between _PreprocessedEnvironmentDepthTexture and _EnvironmentDepthTexture.And what are the data in them rgb channel?BTW, I want

Issue: Whenever I place an object on the wall or the floor the rotation is slightly off.Example: I point at my floor, hit the index trigger to spawn Instantiate the prefab, however its rotation is not 90° and it is slightly tilted. Is there any solution for that, which does not require a self written placement script?

Ooooh.. I am on a role. This is my second question. When I log in to Horizon World the notice at the top says that you have to sign up for the August Bonus by the 23rd. I have no idea where or how to sign up.I have joined the Meta Creators Program. Is that what it is referring to or do I have to sign up for a monthly bonus each month? The last thing I want to do is miss out on any opportunities to make 💰As always, any and all help is greatly appreciated.

If I record something in my Quest 3, is there a way to edit the start or end of the recording on my computer without using the headset? link to anysoftware?

It would be great if the next meta quest had gps, this would give an infinite range of development possibilities. You could use the google maps api to make videogames where the map is the real world.Imagine pokemon go VR where you see your real environment full of pokemons, is an example.

How do you split world monetization when collaborating as a group? Does it show how much was generated from a single world? Is there any way or plan to make it where other editors can be notified how much the world made?

Let's say my world has 8 players max. Does it mean that's all I get unless someone leaves and another person joins?Or once one world is full, another instance gets spun up and 8 more people can join in?
