Hi, I'm trying to make a Horizon Worlds portrait camera orientation experience for mobile, but the documentation has disappeared. Does anyone know if there are any updates on this?

This is my first time getting this kind of message. so i used rx580 when using questlink and i don't have any problem upgraded my cpu no problem too but when i changed my gpu from rx 580 to rtx 5060 it doesn't met the minimum requirement ?

Hi all. Im quite angry about meta about this. Although they dont negate that you can play with glasses under your Quest 3 they should Not permit it or do Not recommend it in any Form instead of saying "yes you can" to get more buyers. Yesterday i scratched my lenses although i usted the spacer on max Level (4). Played some hefty round Dungeons of Eternity and after taking them of I noted the scratch. The glasses rubbed against the lenses. Now im lost with my Quest 3, about a month old, with a Scratch on the right lens without any support or warranty (scratched lenses are not covered nor was PLUS available in EU)I know its my own dumb luck but im angry about Meta that they do not espacially inform about the Risks of using glasses although with Spacer on max, experiencing that the space is not really stable on lvl 4, feels like chinese craft or Bad design.Simply saying you can use glasses but you should use inset lenses, without any repair service available is in my opinión not User orie

Trying to find best way to detect if a certain component/components have been shotMy assumption would be to ignore all static objects, and only send event to server if not static entity, then server can do checks like seeing if it is Target (Component we want to shoot). Does this sound about right or is there some other features I don't know about to group entities in some way for projectile detection? If both launcher and Target are client/local then I understand we can just use getComponents to see if it is what we want.

Why am I seeing this on the Meta Quest software ?"Your computer doesn't meet the updated minimum specifications, which can lead to a poor experience in VR. Learn more"I have a Core Ultra 7 CPU with a 5070 ti GPU and the Q3 has the latest updates.

I did find a way to fix it, at least at this moment but still thought I should mention it, for others if anyone else has issue. - Horizon Worlds User Name: Freaky Chest - Device: Desktop Editor - Time/Date: 2025-06-05 to 2025-06-07 (constant issue for days)- Description: UI would render once and then not update again. Happens with UI is in spatial mode but not with screen overlay. Toggling visibility did not help. It seemed that the old UI was shown over the previous one (only say this a few times, where I change like text size and I could see the update behind the old UI. I tested using z-index and no more issues, even when I removed z-index issues have not came back.

Hello, I want to detect when player changes to this portrait mode after losing focus, for example when uses alt+tab or alt+f4.I want to force release the grabbed item when this happens. How to do this?

I would love to have an event in my world but I want to make sure that I get good attendance and that participants have fun (and are motivated to spend more time in my world!).Any advice on organizing successful events?

Suppose I wanted to offer a prize of a certain number of Meta credits for the first three people to find all the treasures in my treasure hunt world. Is that possible? Would Meta help by promoting this contest to current or  potential Horizon Worlds users?

I'm using SnapInteractor to snap object to another , and how can i use it in multiplayer with netcode ? How to let all clients see that object is snapped to another ? So far the object just move with network transform ? What is the method to call with ClientRpc to let all clients snap object to another ?

I have gone to update to the latest version in Meta QUEST 3 and when I turn on the VR the menu appears and immediately restarts

I've been told that I've passed a milestone which is good news, but this appears at the top.but when I click on the link, there is nothing to set up as I already went through this process months ago and provided all the required information. Is this a bug?

The fact that I can run live worlds from a web browser on my development machine is fantastic. However, I don't seem to be able to see the console from the browser. Is there any way to turn that on? I would like to get my debug messages.

META Quest Link app spams my C drive with JSON files on every reboot !!!!!

The first times I charged the Meta Quest 3, it charged quickly. I've heard about 2 hours for full charge, and quicker of course in the beginning. That seems on-par with my experience. But now, after a couple of charges up to 50-80%, it suddenly charges super slowly. It went from 9% to 19% in almost two hours. I tried to connect it and disconnect it several times, but it still charges super slowly. It's now 20% (from 19%) in 15 minutes. What is going on? I'm using the official charger, but I did try with another one as well with the same result. What is wrong?

Hi,I am a beginner in oculus and unity development.I am trying to live preview the project and want to see the visuals I see in oculus in the game window of unity also. But I am not able to, every time I have to build to the oculus and test or debug(which is very hard for minor calibrations stuffs). When I see the basic tutorials on how to set up, they just add the SDK and put the cameraRig prefab to the project and that's it. Then when they click the play button in unity, they are able to view the visuals in the game window of unity and oculus also. When I try to press the play button, in oculus nothing happens, and in unity, the view stays where the camera rig is placed(no movement, no nothing). Please can anyone help me with this? Is there anything that I need to enable in order to use this feature? Thank You.

So basically i got my new vr headset a couple days of go and one day i just put it on the charger and i wake up to find it blowing air and wont turn on i have tried to hold down the power button and volume button but still wont work i have literally tried every single way but it still wont work and idk if i should get it replaced please help me with this please and thank you

When trying to play videos on my quest app from the media section, there are two things that happen that prevent me from playing them.1. The video will be in a force pause loop where everytime I would click play on the video the video would instantly pauses and If I do it again it would pause again and repeat 2. The video won't load what so ever, I have a good internet connect however the video will refuse to load and always either infinitely load or say no internet connection and this is the same way when I'm trying to download media video as well.

Hello, I was wondering what is the best way to stay up to date with updates, new features, or any type of information giving to creators. Updated assets, being able to sale clothing (when available) etc….. I always seem be in the dark about certain things. Thanks

[Please take no offence from anything in this message that seems 'snarky', I love you all - just treat it as coming from someone with poor social skills, thank you 😉]As a developer, I frequently need to access the quest 3 file system for my deployed app, to view logs, etc.Every time I wish to do so, I am currently forced to have to put the headset on, and DISCONNECT & RECONNECT the USB cable, (because the USB notification message only appears for a tiny amount of time and is not subsequently accessible anywhere, such as the notification list) and then click the message - which is also often difficult, because when you initially put the headset on and pick up the controllers, it takes several seconds for the controllers to be correctly initialized and allow correct selection.PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, Provide one of the following:- A method so I can click a 'allow USB connection' ONCE and tick a checkbox or something to say 'ALWAYS ALLOW USB MTP'- A 'File Manager' inside MQDH whi

So my brother gave me his meta quest 2 headset yesterday and i tried pairing the headset to my phone but when i got to the choose what headset to pair.. it wouldn't let me scroll down to click on the headset i have. i uninstalled the app and cleared the cache but no luck. so i decided to try and do it by my computer and plugged in my usb C to a usb port on my computer and into the headset but no luck.i have no idea what to do since this is my first headset of any kind of VR and ive been desperately trying to get it paired so i can experience VR for the first time can anyone possibly offer some kind of assistance?

Dear Meta Support Team,I updated my Quest 3 headset directly from the device today, June 6th, 2025, to version v77. The update process completed without any error messages. However, despite successfully updating, I haven't observed any of the anticipated changes or new features associated with v77. Specifically, I was expecting to see the new browser/navigator interface and a refreshed overall user interface. My headset's environment and UI appear exactly as they did before the update.I've already tried various troubleshooting steps, including restarting the device multiple times, but nothing has resolved the issue. The headset shows that it is running software version v77, yet the expected functionalities and visual changes are entirely absent.Could you please assist me in understanding why these changes aren't present and what steps I might need to take to activate them? Or is this a known issue where the update indicates completion but hasn't fully applied the new features?Thank you

Hey, I am toying with the LaserGun from the tutorial and trying to replace the example assets with custom models. For some reason the mesh I am importing for the LaserShot replacement is not scaling. All I am trying to do is replace the cylinder with a model that has an emission material on it.I have tested using a primitive cylinder from the shapes menu and it scales fine, albeit on the wrong axis, but easily fixable. The gravity, physics and collisions are set correctly as the example LaserShot. The code makes sense and I've ran various debugs to make sure things are calculating correctly:var thisEntityScaleY = this.entity.scale.get().y;        console.log("thisEntityScaleY = " + thisEntityScaleY)        var laserBeamScale = this.props.laserBeam.scale.get();        laserBeamScale.x = this.props.laserBeamWidth;        laserBeamScale.y = laserLength / thisEntityScaleY;        console

i just got the headset today its new i opened it set it up everything was alright i left it to charge got back to it and hour later and nothing no orange light or green light won't turn on even if i pressed the button for 3 minutes 30 minutes or 60 minutes tried the main button and the turning it on and off and its been in sitting with the charging cable for almost 8 hours nothing at all

There's no link to download the meta quest developer hub for Windows , when we follow the link on Meta website, it download the mac (.dmg) package.
