Hi,I have an issue after updating Meta Avatars from v24 to v33. Before the update, avatars were working both in the build and in the editor. Right now, after the update, avatars in the editor with connected Quest are working (tracking is ok, and no exceptions in the console). But in the build, I get new avatars (whole body - with legs), but it is standing in T-pose and not responding (tracking not working for avatar).I have been working on it for two days and tried to change all possible settings options, but nothing has changed. So I tried to build just MirrorScene from samples (Meta Avatars SDK - 33.0.0. - Sample Scenes) from my project and the result was the same - avatar in t-pose and no tracking.I am attaching logcat errors getting while running app with MirrorScene. There are some weird errors: - JsonParser problems with invalid types from [ovrAvatar2 native] - PackageManager problems with "Package quest.side.vr unavailable"Can someone help me?Log to down

I've been working on a CMI world. When I attempted to install a Kudos board it wasn't permitted. Updating the board resulted in a fail and a warning that something went wrong. SO, I redid everything in a legacy world.  Fail due to unreleased content.I did read about a similar issue, however this issue seems like cyclical failure. Nothing being used in this world is from anywhere but Meta. Also, 'Publishing' is not an accepted label, FYI.Perhaps I've been awake a little too long. Any help?

Is there any logical explanation for this problem?

I wanted to know if anyone is experiencing this.......my desktop editor isn't allowing me to enter certain worlds or even editor world isn't over capacity even duplicated worlds I'm unable to go into I've ticked this still isn't working fyi where should I go to submit now if not on discord

I was simply trying to shrink a texture and I was told I had to open unity tab on DTE. But I don't have a unity tab. It's not closed, no small arrows to where it is hidden. Question 1. Is there a way to reduce texture size another way?Question 2. Any reason why I would be missing the unity tab? Thanks!

Got a notification today stating "Last chance! Play fruit ninja, Espire 1, and 4 more games before they're gone from Quest+ games catalogue on 1  Mar What are the other 4 games dropping off? when you click the link it just takes you to the quest+ store front.... so infuriating..

I'm guessing one of the updates borked things up?100's of 1000's of them on C drive I'm not the only one

Hey, I generated a texture on a cylinder within Horizons Desktop editor. More or less just messing around with it to see what it could do. For some reason, it is not texturing the face of the top of the cylinders. Anyone else having this issue or know a solution for this?

Before we were advised to use the Discord to verify someone is in MHCP before discussing NDA information. With the transition to this forum, what is the recommended method for us to verify other users before continuing those conversations? Also there's not a label for program level questions like this.

Will there be textures coming for Normals and Displacement textures? (If there already is a way wouldn't mind being informed.)

I don't get it--I've deleted and replaced every single primitive with trimesh. But when I try and spawn one of my CMI assets I get this error:[User] Spawn ball failed with error: Spawn failed due to containing content unauthorized for this world (likely for spawning CMI asset in a primitive world or vice versa)...Ball spawns an asset I made with trimesh. What is considered a primitive? I replaced every single mesh in the world with custom tri mesh...I do have text gizmos. Is that considered a primitive? Or does it not matter that I removed them all and once a primitive ever existed in your world its cursed to be determined to be a primitive world?? I just don't get it.I wish it would tell me which primitives are still in the scene, but as far as I can tell there are none! Also will this restriction of not being able to mix and match trimesh with primitives ever going to be resolved? It's a HUGE productivity drain to have to use custom geometry even if you just need a simple box somewhere

I have a strange behaviour in an app I am working on.- The "asset-files-config" have 5 files in it and used to download without a problem, but now they don't finish any more.- Some do finish to completion, but some does not.- May or may not be related, but sometimes when I update the app and try to update it in the headset the quest 2 complains there is not enough disk space, even though there is 200 GB free.- I have tried factory reset, but that did not solve it.There is no crash, no report, no errors, they simply keep running but after a short time they stop progressing. They usually stop at the same percentage.I have the latest SDK v72, also tried reverting to the old v68.Headset is updated with v74Using Unity 6 (6000.0.36f1)Curiously enough, when I test the app on Quest 3 they always finish without any problem.Note that I am testing on a test user.Any ideas what could be wrong or how I can debug this?

After v71 of XR Simulator started working for unity 6 I was happy I can playtest my game easily. But after a day only a white screen pops out. Unity 6 28f1 . I can clearly see the black occlusion but even no input is being registered

I am having an issue with player.variables. It doesnt exist. What is the correct way to access  import * as hz from 'horizon/core'; class Mob extends hz.Component<typeof Mob> { static propsDefinition = { maxHealth: { type: hz.PropTypes.Number, default: 10 }, xpReward: { type: hz.PropTypes.Number, default: 50 }, }; private health!: number; start() { this.health = this.props.maxHealth; } takeDamage(amount: number, player: hz.Player) { this.health -= amount; console.log(`Mob took ${amount} damage! Health left: ${this.health}`); if (this.health <= 0) { this.onDefeated(player); } } onDefeated(player: hz.Player) { console.log(`Mob defeated! Awarding ${this.props.xpReward} XP to ${player.name.get()}`); // :white_heavy_check_mark: Retrieve current XP from player variables let currentXP = player.variables.get("playerXP") || 0; let newXP = currentXP + this.props.xpReward; // :white_heavy_check_mark:

Are UI Gizmo's Grabbable?   I made the UI the child of a Grabbable object and while it works on a desktop - it (and all other UI) disappear in VR mode. Is this not supported, done differently, (or a bug)?I'm making a controller for a 3D slideshow mechanic. I'm a teacher, so think PowerPoint, but with the option to bring in 3D objects (with interactive local behaviors) and rooms / worlds (mini tours / missions).  I've got it all working with tiny trigger boxes, but it feels - well, inelegant. Tutorials & example worlds, welcomed. If you are interested in teaching / presenting in VR, just reach out 🙂- Steve

Hi,We just noticed our world has not made an automatic backup since the 19th of february. And all attempts at making a manual backup says it succeeds but I can't see the backup. Is the backup system broken?

My husband and I have separate accounts and one Oculus Quest 2. I was able to play Beat Saber we purchased on his account using mine. I just bought a music pack add-on with his account. I went into mine and it's asking me to buy it again. I don't understand why I can play the game but not the add-on. It's a family Oculus and if I want to have my own account to track my own progress outside my husband I should be able to. It's not like we can play the same game together since it's the same Oculus.

Hi, I've seen contradictory information regarding WiFi 7 support on Quest 3. I'm currently testing WiFi 7 router and it seems Quest 3 connects in WiFi 6 mode.   Is WiFi 7 something that will be enabled with firmware update or hardware limits it to 6/6e?

Hello,I'm building a game for every platform, Steam and Meta, and it works that way so far. I've read Meta documentation, and it seems like I'm supposed to use Meta's "OpenXR" rig for some features like Dynamic Resolution .Currently I'm using the Hurricane VR and Hexa Rig asset combo (VR - Physics Interactions Bundle | Physics | Unity Asset Store) for my player rig. I've attached a screenshot of the camera settings set up as a generic XR device. If I wanted to use some oculus camera features, how would I organize that for my project? Do I need to make two rigs and switch between them depending on the platform??

Hey creators! Does anyone have any good tutorials or advice for creating Quests/unlocking achievements? Can you use code blocks with the Quest gizmo, or do you need to use Typescript?I want to enhance some of my worlds with Quests,  but need some help getting started with them. Thanks!

RemoteDesktopCompanion.exe creates literally tens of thousands, sometimes millions of files like fba_XXXXX.json in the root of the C: driveIt gets to the point where computers start to slow down and disk space runs out.I don't think this kind of program behavior is acceptable. Please take action.Thank you.===========================PS.Ok, I found a solution on one forum, at least a temporary one.You need to rename the RemoteDesktopCompanion.exe fileIt is possible that the running OVRservice will not allow you to do this, so you need to stop it first. Here is a bat file that will do all this for you:1. Stop the OVRservice2. Rename RemoteDesktopCompanion.exe3. Delete all created json files4. Start OVRservice again net stop OVRservice ren "C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-remote-desktop\RemoteDesktopCompanion.exe" "RemoteDesktopCompanion.exe.old" del c:\fba*.json /q net start OVRservice

Really hope Meta can see this as I cannot update any metadata for my app.  Setting an asset and clicking save results in the following: GraphQL server responded with error 1675030: Error performing query.Error Code1675030Trace IDD56dQgYyQYY Please fix soon!  thanks.

I'm working on implementing Aim Assist in my game and it's mostly going well.  I am at a stage where I need to be able to identify the player that is closest to the aiming direction of another player. The Aim Assist Documentation explains  "Consider the game Super Rumble as a usage example. A system could be created that gathers a list of all players currently in play. The system could then periodically iterate through the list of players to find the player closest to the aiming direction of an individual with aim assist, and then set this player as the aim assist target."How do I find the player who is "closest to the aiming direction of an individual" ?
