Solved

This Question was asked some time ago and a Community Manager answered with "We are looking into it".But I wanted to ask if there is any update on the tongue tracking for Quest Pro.So far I'm rather happy with the face tracking capabilities but one thing that's definitly missing is tongue tracking. It's one of the first things people ask about when they notice someone is using facetracking with a Quest Pro.And if it would be added, this headset would basically be perfect in my eyes.Is anyone else sharing this mentality?

I'm having trouble starting Firebase on Meta Quest 2. The app builds without errors and the message that should appear in theFirebaseAuth dependencyStatus is: "available". However, when starting it on Quest 2, the following message appears: "unavailable invalid""Available" status occurs normally on Windows, Unity editor and Android phone. Does anyone know why this error occurs on Quest 2?I tried rewriting the code, reinstalling the SDKs, setting up another Firebase account, checked the package name, checked Google services, tried options related to internet connection. This is the code:async void Start() { Debug.Log("Checking dependencies"); await FirebaseApp.CheckAndFixDependenciesAsync().ContinueWithOnMainThread(task => { dependencyStatus = task.Result; }); Debug.Log("Logging"); var auth = FirebaseAuth.DefaultInstance; await auth.SignInAnonymouslyAsync(); Debug.Log("Logged!"); auth.SignOut(); Debug.Log("Unlogged!"); }

Meta XR Simulator doesnt work in my project and even in a blank new project just with Meta Core and Simulator I can provide all the logs

Hey!I managed to make the virtual keyboard work with a separate input field. However, the keyboard has its own input field on the top side, that I do not know how to capture. It does not look good to see the user input on the top of the keyboard, and on also a separate input field. In Meta documentation on the virtual keyboard screenshots, there is no input field, so I guess it is kind of a newer feature.Did anyone succeed in catching the input that is located on the keyboard itself? Thanks!

I've been able to package my game many times and drag and drop the .apk into the MQDH and it was working just fine. But today it suddenly stopped working. It shows the .apk loading then says the APK Successfully Installed, but the application isn't there. I tried it on older .apk builds that worked before but I'm getting the same thing for them too now. I've tried restarting all my devices. Quest. Computer. MQDH. Unplugged the headset. Nothing seems to be working. Has anyone else had this? Does anyone have a fix?

Hi, I just bought two Meta Quest 3s to share between me, my wife and two kids. Both are registered to my account and I have added the other accounts to both devices. But when I try to enable app sharing on the second device, it tells me that I have to turn it off on the first device??? Are you honestly telling me that it is not possible to share two meta devices within our family without having to buy all software twice? Please tell me I made a mistake somewhere and this is possible! Everything else would be a joke - a bad one!

Basically, I want to set a facebook page username. that is SpeakerFixer (https://speakerfixer.net/). But I want to set like that Speaker_Fixer.Facebook didn't allow me to add the underscore sign. But I see most of the page creator have underscore in pages. How is that?

Hello!I am currently unable to set up the newest Meta Avatars SDK (v29.7.0).  Every time I try to install, it raises the same three errors :Library\PackageCache\com.meta.xr.sdk.core@68.0.3\Scripts\BuildingBlocks\MultiplayerBlocks\Shared\NetworkedAvatar\Scripts\EntityInputManager.cs(31,17): error CS0103: The name 'BodyTracking' does not exist in the current contextLibrary\PackageCache\com.meta.xr.sdk.core@68.0.3\Scripts\BuildingBlocks\MultiplayerBlocks\Shared\NetworkedAvatar\Scripts\EntityInputManager.cs(33,17): error CS0103: The name 'BodyTracking' does not exist in the current contextLibrary\PackageCache\com.meta.xr.sdk.core@68.0.3\Scripts\BuildingBlocks\MultiplayerBlocks\Shared\NetworkedAvatar\Scripts\EntityInputManager.cs(34,17): error CS0103: The name 'BodyTracking' does not exist in the current contextDoes anyone else seem to be having similar issues?  Any insight as to why this might be happening, or if there are any steps to be taken to resolve this, would be greatly a

Hi there, is it possible to have these hand visuals, which also are animated?Using Unity 6 and all in one SDK v71.There are lots of building blocks, but I can't find this. Maybe it's there already and just needs to be activated? Or any other way to implement / use this? Thanks

I've got a lever that I'm manipulating with a "grabbable" a "hand grab interactable" and a "One grab rotate transformer" the last one with constraints. This is working fine. But when released the lever stays in the transformed position. I would like the lever to return to its original position when released. If I add a method to return the "target transform" to its original rotation and call it from the unity event wrapper on "when unselect" it seems to work until one tries to manipulate the lever again it then appears that the constraints have rotated by half the difference between min and max. The lever will rotate correctly between these "new" min and max values but of course is visually in the wrong place. i.e if the min max values were originally from -20 to 20. After the "reset" they appear to be from -40 to 0.Any suggestions on how to properly return the lever to its original position?

Why every time I see someone ask a question on here, you'll see a developer or moderator say "Sure I'll be able to help you, just send me a private message and we can get this situated"..like Why not just answer the dang question in the forum instead of typing all that about sending a private message and doing it thru there where no one else with the same problem can see what the solution is!?!?! UGGHHH

Is there a way to scan and a qr code that is on my PC or phone, and view the image on my oculus?

Hello MetaStoreHelp ,I want to profile my WebXR application with the OVR Metrics Tool like stated in the docs and record some sessions. After running the app there are no CSV files saved. Is anyone else having issues with gorilla tag on the Meta Quest 3s where it looks like the arms are glitching? The arms flail around super quick when running or wall running. It doesn't happen constantly, just sometimes. This didn't happen on the Meta Quest 2. It doesn't seem to be happening in other games like the fishing game in Meta Horizon worlds. We have tried restarting, tried using it in a room with blackout curtains (so no windows glare) and tried different tracking settings but nothing seems to work. It makes me wonder if gorilla tag needs updates for the newer headsets?Edit: It turned out that the design for the long arms sticks (a physical addon we got off amazon) were interfering with the censors somehow. It wasn't an issue on the quest 2 bc of the circle design of the controllers. The long arms completely cover the controllers in the new controller design. Once we removed the long arms it seemed to work better.

I just bought a quest 2 and want to connect to my pc using airlink but whenever I got to use air link on my headset my pc wont show up for me to pair it. Any help is appreciated.

Any edits that need to be made to the AndroidManifest.xml file should be done inside the UE Editor in the Advanced APK Packing section."I couldn't figure out how to add the code to that section. when i add as a extra setting (code line) i couldnt build it i can try as a tag but  i dont know how does it workany idea would help

Hi! Just wanted to post here to get a seperate thread going. As of today there is a major bug in communication between Quest 3 and certain types of Router models. So let's get a list started on Wifi 6e routers that actually work. What Router do you have experience with being stable at 2400 Mbps in dedicated 6e mode?Remember to post Router name and model and screen grabs/video from the Quest 3 showing the speed. (Turn on experimental wifi settings to do so.)This is by no account a list that is for everyone. So far I found that some of the more expensive models between 350-700$/€ have been reported to work. So meta still has a major bug to fix. But if you can afford it, this might be is a way around the problem… ___________________________________________________________________________________________________The bug explained:There is a bug with negotiation rates with certain router models. Essentially AX and AXE models but more might also be affected. I have been investigatin

Im interested to take the first step to try out for the position, but cant find anything about it. Does anyone here know?

Hi,Our team is currently in the process of studying and porting a project previously developed in Unity to the new Meta Spatial SDK. This project involves streaming monoscopic 360° videos (not 3D stereoscopic) on the Quest 2 and Quest 3. I'm using the MediaPlayerSample project available on GitHub as a reference for studying. For video playback, I'm utilizing ExoPlayer for streaming, as VideoView, which was initially used in the project, showed significant performance issues during streaming. While testing, I noticed the following performance differences:On the Quest 2, videos with resolutions starting at 4K and above cause severe performance degradation. The device often freezes, and the application becomes unstable, with frame rates dropping to between 30–50 FPS.On the Quest 3, videos up to 5K resolution run perfectly at 90 FPS without any performance issues. This raises a few questions:Is there a way to detect programmatically (in Kotlin) whether the user is using a Quest 2 or Qu

Hi, we have purchased a big amount of Quest 2 for a client and would like to rename the devices as they appear all with the same name "Quest 2" when you want to stream one of them. Is there any way to rename them? Quest2-01 for example Thanks in advance

I have put in the code that my occulus has given me, but it always says it could not be found. I have tried every possible solution that has been given to me by the app.

I am planning to conduct WebXR development via MQDH.I connected Quest 3 to my PC using a USB cable, but instead of receiving a popup asking for USB debugging authorization, I only see a popup indicating that the charging speed has decreased.I have tried restarting, resetting to factory settings, and using different ports and cables, but the issue remains unresolved.I have enabled Developer Mode in the Meta Horizon app, and on the Quest 3, I have activated "Enable Custom Settings," "MTP Notification," and "Physical Space Features."In the USB test for Meta Quest Link, it remains stuck on the "Please check your cable connection" screen, and Quest 3 is not displayed in the Device Manager either. If there are any additional steps or points to check, I would greatly appreciate your guidance.Thank you very much.EnvironmentWindows PC: Z5-Z490(Motherboard: Z490-S01)MacBook Pro(Thunderbolt 3 port)Cable: Y-G2-20L
