So I fired up the desktop editor, and got this message. I ignored it(as it was ambigious), and then it popped up again and it rudely kicked me out of the editor.   So...removed me from what, exactly? I'm just minding my own business in the editor.

Hi! I have two questions:1- How can I make the doors in the asset library work? Can they be opened and closed... is that possible?2- Is there a limit to the number of items in our worlds? It won't let me duplicate, it just keeps thinking. It's true that there are a lot of trees in my world...You can see: Hi! I have two questions:1- How can I make the doors in the asset library work? Hello, I created a blank project in Unity 6000.0.37f1 and dowloaded the latest version of Meta All in One (v72) and Meta Avatars(v33).i just created a blank scene and added all the building blocks necessary for tests the new avatars (camera rig, virtual hands, passthrough, auto matchmaking and avatars).the project is correctly connected to an app on the store and the avatar spawn correctly, but after the spawn i got this two error:-[ovrAvatar2] OvrAvatarBodyTrackingMode.Standalone is deprecated, please use OvrAvatarBodyTrackingMode.None instead and set the InputTrackingProvider, InputControlProvider, and HandTrackingProvider properties of the OvrAvatarInputManagerBehavior MonoBehavior on the OvrAvatarEntity prefab/instance.this one as the debug say i just changed the tracking in None and it look fixed.-Failed to poll initial positon, no head position foundUnityEngine.Debug:LogError (object)Oculus.Avatar2.MecanimLegsAnimationController:PollInitialPosition () (at Assets/Samples/Meta

After the update today I can't even edit a script on the head set editor. I know they stopped updating and maintaining it but didn't expect it to just fall apart. I literally cant even drag and drop code blocks or type on the keyboard now. I like using the desktop editor for some stuff but mostly prefer the headset if anyone knows anyway to get it working again? If not how can I get the code block scripting on the desktop editor? I downloaded vs code and I'm still not able to open my existing scripts. I'm able to start a new one but it's type script not code blocks

I am using the following API to check whether a payment method has been added successfully to Meta business or not:   GET /v21.0/{whats-app-business-account-id}/payment_configuration HTTP/1.1    Host: graph.facebook.comThe app has all the required permissions, but I am encountering the following error:{  "error": {     "message": "(#10) Application does not have permission for this action",    "type": "OAuthException",    "code": 10,     "error_data": {       "messaging_product": "whatsapp",      "details": "Application does not have permission for this action."    },    "fbtrace_id": "AHSIK-Fc9KJHjsmfycS19QH"  }} Question:1. What could be causing this error despite having all the necessary permissions?2. Are there additional steps or configurations required to access the payment configuration endpoint?

Hello!I wasn't sure where the best place is to report this issue, but I'm having a problem with Arkham Shadow on my Quest 3S. Essentially, I'm inside the chapel level and the entrance is locked. I used detective vision to scan the lock and then the power terminal (by pressing B). Unfortunately, nothing happened and now I can't progress .I think I'm supposed to receive the charged gloves, but I don't have them and it doesn't seem like I've been able to fix it. I tried reloading the last checkpoint and restarting my headset but nothing's working 😞Thank you,Noah

Im not sure if this was asked already but how would one go about using the quest controller specific buttons (A,B,X,Y) to open up a ui panel in a horizon world ?Example: When Y is pressed then menu interface shows up, when Y is pressed again the interface closes

Is it possible to spawn/move a player to a dynamic location instead of a predetermined spawn point? I tried setting the position of the spawn point but that doesn't work. I would like to move the player during game play to a new location.

Hi everyone,I am facing an issue while trying to submit my W-8BEN tax form in the Meta Quest Developer Dashboard as part of setting up Payout Information for my paid app.Issue Details:When I upload the W-8BEN tax form, it keeps loading indefinitely and does not proceed further. This issue is not just affecting me—several other developers I know are experiencing the same problem.Since this step is required for setting up payouts, it is preventing me from releasing my paid app. What I’ve Tried So Far:Cleared cache and cookiesUsed different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge)Tested on different networksAttempted from both Windows and macOS devicesI have already submitted a support ticket, but I wanted to check if anyone else has found a solution or workaround for this. If you've faced this issue and managed to resolve it, please share your insights!Meta Support Team, please look into this issue, as it is affecting multiple developers and blocking payout setup. I have also included the video li

First, I want to apologize if this is an EA violation. If so, please promptly delete this post and again accept my humblest apology.I have heard that we can spawn in a world using a sublevel. How exactly would this be done in the desktop editor? (I have seen that I enter a world code.)Say a player accesses a sublevel, does it spawn in for everyone else in the world? For example, I am working on a history museum project. If Player 1 enters one sublevel (Exhibit 1) and Player 2 enters a different sublevel (Exhibit 2), do both players get the two sublevels spawned in on their headsets?I could be off-base about how sublevels work, but again, I'm really excited at the possibility of having my exhibits spawn into the same world, rather than splitting them across multiple worlds.Thank you for your responses.

Hi to everyone, I would like to have some help with this issue, I've been trying to use the Interaction SDK in UE 5.5, but I saw on the page that they changed a couple things, and now even if I follow step by step any tutorial, I can't make the grabbing component work, can someone please assist me?

For context:My team is trying to create a delivery system for VR EdTech applications at Imperial College London. For our desktop version, each individual learning app is built to an AssetBundle and DLL and uploaded to our server. Our main executable ("launcher app") can then browse those files, download them, import them directly into the program and launch them as a separate scene. This works great, since we only need to install that one main application to all our PCs, as that application can then download/install all the others. Now, we want something similar to work on a standalone quest. My understanding is that this isn't possible on Android (I hear you can't load new code into an app at runtime like you can with our DLL method on Windows... please correct me if I'm wrong, I'd love to know how other games on the Quest with mod support work... my mind goes to Contractors, it comes with a mod browser letting you import different game modes, there certainly seems to be act

The IWP bonus showed $0 at the very end of the month, making the payout $0 for the IWP bonus. IWP bonus was showing a non 0 value up until Feb 27 or 28.

If a player is moving too fast the bullet comes out from the side of the gun but comes out in the right spot when the player is standing still. The faster a player is moving the farther away the bullet launches from. -launching projectile from projectile launcher which is grouped to the gun. Side question.. I noticed looking through some old gun scripts it says launch (object variable) from (object variable).Allowing you to better customize your bullets. When I tried to script this way myself I didn't see an option for choosing your own object as the projectile. Is this out dated?

When I import a custom model which I exported as FBX from Unity. It seems to ignore the box collider I assigned to the object in Unity but instead assigns a mesh collider on the imported object. Is there a way to change this or make the object use box collider? Thanks

Unity Version: 2022.3.16f1Device: Meta Quest 3sXR Plugin: Oculus (Enabled in XR Plug-in Management)Issue DescriptionI’m developing a VR application for the Oculus Quest 3s, but I’m facing an issue where Unity Play Mode does not stream to the headset, while the built APK works fine. Here’s what I’ve confirmed so far:Oculus Link is working correctly – the headset is detected and connected to the PC, and Link mode is enabled. In Unity, under Edit > Project Settings > XR Plug-in Management, I have enabled Oculus and checked Initialize XR on Startup. When I enter Play Mode in Unity, the scene does not appear in the headset, but a built APK runs without any issues.Developer Mode is enabled on the Quest 3s, and Passthrough is allowed via Link.I have tried restarting Unity and reconnecting Oculus Link, but the issue persists.Attempts to FixRestarted the Oculus headset and reconnected Oculus LinkDeleted the Library folder in Unity and recompiled the pr

Hello!I am extremely new to development (using the Desktop Editor), and I wanted to try a quick world that just enables a button that, when pressed, updates a player's score using NetworkBroadcastEvents and Variable Groups. Here's what I've got:A VariableGroup called `PlayerAttributes` with `test` and `localScore` Which I then try to reference in a Typescript file:   // names of the variable group and persistent variable containing player data const varGroupName: string = "PlayerAttributes"; const varName: string = "localScore"; // Set as a Number const varKey: string = `${varGroupName}:${varName}`; export type ButtonPressedType = { player: Player } class ScoreManager extends hz.Component<typeof ScoreManager> { static propsDefinition = {}; start() { this.connectNetworkBroadcastEvent(NetworkEvents.buttonPressed, (data: ButtonPressedType) => { console.log('Button pressed by player', data.player.id); const curScore = Number(this.wo

Has anyone created and/or used assets that were constructed completely from image planes? Does this save on geo capacity? And by doing so, does is negatively affect frame rate or world performance?

Is there a way to revert to original texture a model is imported with, in script? Similar to what button in desktop editor does, that reverts any texture you applied back to the original mesh texture. I tried to see if I can getTexture of a Mesh but that does not seem to exist. Only setting a new texture exists.

Is it possible to persist the world's state in between loading and unloading? Something along the lines of how Persistent Variables can be used to track an individual player's state, but for the world itself? Thanks in advance!
