Hello,I'm developing a small VR app with colocation features on Meta Quest 2. The app includes:Unity 2022.3.20f1Photon Unity Networking 2 2.4Meta XR Platform SDK 63.0.0 (I'm using Building Blocks)Currently I'm struggling on interfacing with any Oculus Platform features from the Unity Editor due "Missing entitlement for XXX (XXX)" error when running "IsUserEntitledToApplication". I need to pass this check in order to retrieve username (for display to other players) and to interface with Anchors API (I think - I haven't got to that step yet):private void InitializeOculus() { Core .AsyncInitialize() .OnComplete(OnCoreInitialized); void OnCoreInitialized(Message message) { if (message.IsError) { LogError(message.GetError().Message); return; } Entitlements .IsUserEntitledToApplication() .OnComplete(OnEntitlementInitialized); } void OnEntitlementInitialized(Message message)

Problem: I'm trying to set my Quest 2 headset to 120hz, Calling OVRManager.display returns null Details:I imported the Oculus Integration Plugin then wrote the below code, but when I build and deploy to the headset I get a null reference exception because OVRManager.display returns nulls Additional Info:Unity 2021.3.12f1, building for the Quest 2, I have Quest support disabled.Oculus XR Plugin V3.0.2XR Plugin Management V4.2.1Oculus Integration V49.0BNG VR Interaction Framework 1.82 Thanks in advance for any help!

When im playing games they crash and a pop up appears saying "not enough memory to run (Game)". So far this has happened in into the radius and blade and sorcery nomad, but i haven't played much of anything else recently. I have about 30 gb of storage left, so i don't know how to fix it or if its even a bug.

I have created a 2nd camera in my scene so that I could stream the view out to a server but my avatar is rendered without a head.  Is there any way to force the Oculus Avatar2 to also create the head?  I've been searching for options in the Oculus code but haven't found anything obvious.   Thank you for any suggestions.

  How to get Oculus Quest 2 Controller Battery in Unity? I am connecting Quest 2 using Oculus Link. Since it is catchable in official Oculus Software (Image Above), I think it is possible?   But I can't access the battery either with SystemInfo.Battery() or SteamVR ETrackedDeviceProperty.Prop_DeviceBatteryPercentage_Float or Unity XR battery level.

I've been using Quest + Link almost since release and it has been working just fine but now all of a sudden it has stopped working. It says on the oculus client that my Quest is active and ready to go. I put on the headset and enable oculus link. When I do that my screen goes black and then I'm stuck on an infinite loading screen. All I can see are the three moving dots and nothing else. I've tried reinstalling, repairing and restarting the oculus software but nothing has worked. Any help would be great

Hello,I am currently trying to implement a simple Leaderboard system. The problem is that the Leaderboard in the Meta Developer Hub doesn't get populated with new entries.I followed this tutorial on the meta documentation. I have:- An approved DUC for User ID, User Profile, User Age Group and Friends- installed and activated the Platform SDK Plugin (version 1.89.0)- Adjusted the DefaultEngine.ini- a GameInstance which handles a "Start Message Pump" and an Entitlement Check (Which runs successfully installed as .apk in the Quest)- a signed App- a version on the Meta Developer Hub in all distribution channelsThe Entitlement Check works on a built game installed on the Quest. Unfortunately, it's not in the Engine with VR Preview.It seems that Leaderboards calls in the built game are successful, at least that's what the boolean output says. I repeatedly get this debug message in the MQDH when the game runs On the Quest 3:Unable to load OVRMrcLibI also got messages that the call to the Lead

I am trying to link a Quest 3 and an ESP32-WROOM devkit via Bluetooth Classic.The ESP32 is running the following code: #include "BluetoothSerial.h" String device_name = "ESP32-BT-follower"; BluetoothSerial SerialBT; // Bt_Status callback function void Bt_Status(esp_spp_cb_event_t event, esp_spp_cb_param_t *param) { if( event == ESP_SPP_SRV_OPEN_EVT ) { Serial.println ("Client Connected"); } else if( event == ESP_SPP_CLOSE_EVT ) { Serial.println ("Client Disconnected"); } } void setup() { Serial.begin(115200); SerialBT.begin(device_name, isMaster = false, disableBLE = true); //Bluetooth device name SerialBT.register_callback(Bt_Status); Serial.printf("The device with name \"%s\" is started.\nNow you can pair it with Bluetooth!\n", device_name.c_str()); } #define BT_BUF_LEN 255 char BT_buffer[BT_BUF_LEN]; int BT_data_index = 0; // Used in loop to keep track of how many elements have been read into buffer already void loop() { if( SerialBT.availa

After i update the headset system to V65,I find I can't load scene data using MRUK. I tried the building block room mesh and the scene was successfully loaded, so it's not a linking problem. Hey, do you now if there are any plans in the near future to provide us with Oculus Link for Mac?

Is it possible to use the vulkan validation layer on Quest 3?I've enabled the XR_EXT_DEBUG_UTILS_EXTENSION when creating the xr instance, and have created a debug callback using xrCreateDebugUtilsMessengerEXT.  I tried doing the same thing in the vulkan instance: I add VK_EXT_DEBUG_UTILS_EXTENSION, but when I call vkGetInstanceProcAddr to get vkCreateDebugReportCallbackEXT I get null (so I'm assuming the xr version takes precedence and you don't use the vk extension). When I try to add VK_LAYER_KHRONOS_validation layer to the VkInstanceCreateInfo and call xrCreateVulkanInstanceKHR, it fails, returning XR_ERROR_VALIDATION_FAILURE.

We have implemented FMOD plugin in Unity for audio. The game functions well and sounds can be heard in HMD. However, as soon as i turn on screen recording in headset, the audio can no longer be heard. This issue was not present previously. We believe this started happening after recent Meta auto update. We are currently clueless on what causes and how to solve it. We have tried reverting back to Unity audio and it works fine there. So we can confirm that it only happening using the plugin. Any leads on what causes and how we can rectify this issue will be helpful.Thank you.

Hi

We are working on a new app. I uploaded our first apk via Meta Quest Developer Hub, which succeeded. Now, when I try to replace the build with a new version, I get an error regarding the package name already being in use. The package name in use is the one used in the initial build and in the update build.This post seemed to have the same issue: Invalid Package Name - Meta Community Forums - 522751 However there was no further discussion on what happened or how to fix it.I can't find any specific point of potential failure. I've increased build number, tried a custom manifest as well as not, and even changed the package name, which then gave me the error that the package name is different from the original.UsingUnity 2022.2.6OpenXR 1.6.0

I could use OBS or etc. to just screen record on my laptop but I was wondering if there's a way to get frames reasonably fast dynamically while the casting is running? Also, I noticed that taking screenshots or recordings stores the footage on the headset, is there anyway to have it stored locally on my laptop?

I have an app that uses eye tracking via the oculus movement sdk and open XR for everything else. As of last week Wednesday the eye tracking was working properly in my scene. Today it does not. I'm prompted for permission to use it each time the app starts, but the eye tracking is not working. Has something shipped recently that broke my project? Thanks for any ideas.

Hello,I'm developping for a special hardware and we're trying to switch from HP G2 PCVR to Quest 3 since the availability of the former is waning.  We've been working hard to make it work at least as well as it did with the HP, both visually and performance wise.Now we're close to having it all together, except for the sound. With the HP Headset we had audio in both the HMD and PC speakers. With the Quest 3, we have that as well, but only when the proximity sensor is triggered (aka. Headset is on).- Headset On -> audio on both HMD and PC- Headset Off -> only audio on HMD.Is it the expected behavior ? Cause I feel what you'd want, is to have the audio from the HMD turned off when you remove it, not the opposite ?Wether it is expected or not, is there any way, in unity or in the meta software to disable that and keep the audio of the PC playing ?Thanks for your help

Hello,I use a quest 3 in UE5 using steamvr currently (new to quest dev in ue). I use Steam  link to stream the picture to the quest3. I never packed an apk but simply started the game from the ue editor in vr mode in unreal.I recognized, that every time i start/stop the game in the editor, the orientation (yaw) of my virtual space in unreal changes kind of randomly... probably depends on inital headset position when i start the game. I want to place a virtual object in my 3d scene and i want it to correspont to the real-world location for ever - even when i shutdown unreal and the quest headset and restart. Think of an AR way to place a virtual object in your room in a specific position. I already found the ARPins, but couldnt get it to run (at least not when starting the game from the UE editor in vr mode - they seem to be overpowered for my case anyway). Generally i wonder why it is so hard to match virtual orientation to real-world-orientation. The guardian/champerone

I'm encountering a type conflict error ("CS0433 The type 'ManualResetValueTaskSourceCore<TResult>' exists in both...") when using the latest version of the Oculus XR SDK package (com.meta.xr.sdk.core).This conflict seems to be between the Oculus SDK's internal use of ManualResetValueTaskSourceCore<TResult> and the version provided by the .NET framework (or another package).What I've Tried:I've ensured I'm using the latest version of the com.meta.xr.sdk.core package through the Unity Package Manager.I attempted to resolve the conflict by adding a compiler argument specifying the location of the desired Microsoft.Bcl.AsyncInterfaces.dll file within Unity project preferences, but it didn't work.I've explored alternative solutions like namespace aliasing, but unfortunately, modifying the Oculus SDK files directly is not an option as it's a package managed by Unity.I also tried the solution as mentioned in this thread, which solves the error in the editor, but upon APK build it
