Whenever I start a call with a certain friend in any group chat on Vr or the meta app it would not start a call or state that it failed to start the call, and this friend was someone I had accidentally unfollowed, but it would let me refollow him. I have already rebooted the headset, and made my profile not private. Any help?

I am 16 years old and I submitted my ID card and CPF to verify my age. I've been having lots of trouble with my link app. For starters my skreen has been blacking out/ freezing to only what I was last looking at when im playing. So I deciced to do a repare of the app, it got not even a quarter through downloading when it froze and gave me an errer screen prompting me to restart my computer. I redownloaded and restarted my computer several times and it gave me the same promt every time. things I've tried:Deleaded any local app data relating to my oculus quest link or oculus in generalEnding any tasks related to the quest link or oculusTemporarally disabling any anti-virus/ firewalls that might be in the way of allowing me to install itClearing any local proxy and security connection berriersClearing up space on my computer/ deleating any unused files and appsand running the installer as administration Im not sure what else to do, so if anyone has sugesstions or solutions  PLEASE reach out. Ty :>

My kid’s Quest 3’s controllers say they’re paired but won’t connect or work and when I press any button on the controller, the light blinks three times and shuts off like I need to re-pair it. I’ve tried doing so 5 times, doing a factory reset and connecting off the WiFi.Batteries were also replaced and they show 100% on the app.

I had a left controller not connecting anymore so did troubleshooting and customer service. They gave me a return label and I shipped it to them, I believe 6/4/26.  I haven’t gotten it back yet and it’s July 20. Every time I contact support they say it’s escalated and they are looking into it. I told them just send me another controller. I’ve invested $800.00 into this and my son hasn’t been able to play on it all summer vacation. How can I add screen shots of the email conversations? I just want a controller.

My Meta Quest 2 can no longer install large games. Downloads reach 100% (for example, 1.6/1.6 GB), then either get stuck, disappear, or show "Wi-Fi network connection error". I've tried multiple Wi-Fi networks, including a phone hotspot. I have over 60 GB of free storage, I'm on the latest software, I've restarted and force restarted the headset, and there are no other downloads or updates. This started after a software update earlier this year (2026).

when I want to invite a friend to my “home”, the send invite button is greyed out even though it can accommodate up to 8 people. Is there a setting I need to fix?

 I cant login to my meta account. When i try to log in it says send sms to the phone number or use recovery code. I changed my number so I dont have access to my old phone number and i dont have recovery codes too. I am still logged into my quest 2 and the meta quest app, but I am trying to login to my oculus app on pc to play pcvr.  Im writing from my second account. Please help.

Hey, I've been using the meta link app for quite a few years now and one day (about 2 months ago) the app just stopped working and i was greeted with an infinite loading screen whenever i tried to connect my headset via link cable. same issue you've all heard before haha (and meta has done nothing to fix it!! of course!) I have tried:Rebooting my computer and headset. Flipping the cable upside down.Fully uninstalling and reinstalling the link app.Turning off my internet before starting a session.Blocking all meta related services from my firewall (results in the meta app saying "oh no i cant communicate to the servers pls help")Uninstalling and reinstalling the link app again. basically tried everything except factory resetting my headset (since i have recordings on there and im just too lazy to get them off there rn). if worse comes to worst, i will be forced to refund my headset for the sixth time.

Where can I find details on how to improve the quality of a capture beyond the pop up tips? I'd love to know more about the 3 steps and what is taking place during each. I saw a low storage warning during one of my scans. I assumed that was for my local headset. Are there any space requirements we need to know? Can't wait till we can share space or download useable results Unreal or Unity. 

So I bought a game called freaky lab VR which I looked at the trailer for it and it looked pretty good so I bought it and I do not like it at all so I went to get refunded and it said refund was not eligible so then I tried to refund it again and see if something went wrong and mine. I keep in mind that I bought it 30 minutes ago and it won’t let me and I do not want the game at all and I don’t know what to do because I’ve been talking to the Meta support AI and nothing of them are doing anything that will fix the problem. I just want to speak with a human.

Hi Meta Community Managers. Two weeks ago I completely lost all access to all worlds I often visited via Horizon Worlds. The world’s menu has disappeared entirely from my Meta Quest 3S headset, and searching the store shows nothing. When trying to use the Horizon Mobile App, I get an error saying it is “not available for everyone yet” I am based in the United Kingdom. I  am an active HorizonPlus member. I have already contacted support and I was told there were no restrictions on my account, but they closed the ticket saying it is temporarily unavailable. This is an error because other UK user have access. I mainly use my headset and mobile app for Worlds, therefore if this isn’t going to be resolved promptly I may aswell cancel my HorizonPlus membership. Could a moderator please escalate this profile bug to the engineering team so that my app access can be manually refreshed? thanks   

I’ve reset both the meta quest 2 and my phone. Both are up to date on software. Removed app reinstalled it. Factory reset the quest 2 and still not able to use my VR. It’s stuck on the pairing setup screen. I also get this weird error on the app under headset setting.

When I go and hold down the power button to get to the shutdown menu it never shows until I hear the shutdown sound and when it shutdown it just turns off the screen on standby. So I'm constantly loosing battery. Anyone know a solution?

i just built me a super-gamer and moving my old wired oculus rift to the new system.  the headset connects to the meta hor link app but will not get past the 'continue setup in vr' screen.  what next? is my old headset now a paperweight?

Hi everyone, I’m hoping for some input from experienced Quest 2 users before I make a final decision regarding controller replacement / moving away from meta by upgrading my headset. Over time, my right touch controller (and to a lesser extent the left) has developed noticeable tracking degradation. I restarted my Quest 2 in PCVR link mode because I was lagging randomly and that fixed it but now my right controller wont track but the buttons work and I tried every fix I've seen on YT but it is still busted anyone got a fix?

Hi i bought a brand new meta quest 3 from amazon in December my son was playing on it about a minth ago and the screen just went gray I tried to factory reset it 5 times it just does nothing, the screen works as it goes from black off to gray on but nothing after that when I try to speak to meta help it says my account isnt reconised and then when i try to do it useing the serial number it says the serial number is not reconised went to amazon to get help they dont have help for the product and just direct me to meta help, i really do not have a clue 

I had 5 minute recording. My glasses updated. And now i only have 1 min and 3 min.When will I get 5 minutes back. This is frustrating.

I stopped using my headset for a few months and decided to play again so I recharged it and it got to 100%, for a few uses it kept going to 100% but after an update it seems to have been fully stuck at 75%-76%, I left it overnight but it still didn't work and then I left it for 2 nights and it still never charged beyond that.Is there any type of fix that could possibly fix this? I remember a while ago I had the same issue but another update seemed to have fixed it.

After renitalizing my quest 2, I wanted to pairing it but it wasn’t working. So I removed  it from meta horizon on my PC. I tried again but it didn’t work. However, the headset is still visible on my phone with the serial number. I go to the site, I can’t contact support because my Quest 2 is no longer pair to my account (but can be viewed on my phone as unfound) and the serial number doesn’t work? to help me because I am Aggaceae

I logged in for the first time in a  while and all my games are gone. I made sure I am using the right meta account, but my library is completely empty. I have an origenal Rift CV1,  and I understand that they no longer produce games for the device but to take away all the products I have purchased already seems a bit extreme.Anyone else have this issue? 

I am submitting feedback regarding age-access policies for immersive social VR platforms, including Meta Horizon Worlds and similar social VR environments. I believe Meta should reconsider allowing very young children to freely access general-purpose social VR spaces. Virtual reality is fundamentally different from traditional social media because it creates an immersive, real-time environment involving voice communication, avatars, spatial interaction, and user-generated communities. General social VR environments should, in my opinion, have a minimum age of at least 15 or 16. This would not prevent younger children from using age-appropriate games, educational experiences, or specifically designed child-friendly VR spaces. Instead, it would create a clearer distinction between child-oriented environments and open social spaces intended for older teenagers and adults. Allowing very young children into general social VR spaces can negatively affect the privacy, comfort,
