Hi everyone, I need help with a supervision issue on my kids’ Oculus Quest accounts. I have two sons, aged 10 and 11, and each has their own Oculus Quest. I created separate Meta accounts for each of them using their respective email addresses. I was trying to set up parental supervision by linking their accounts to mine through the Meta Family Center. However, I accidentally linked my 10-year-old’s account as the parent of my 11-year-old, instead of linking both of them to my account as their parent. Now I need to remove the supervision link between the two of them so I can properly connect both accounts to mine, but I haven’t found a way to do that. Meta’s support documentation says to: Tap Menu at the top of your Horizon Feed Tap Family Center Tap the account you want to change, then select Remove supervision But this option doesn’t appear anywhere for me. I’ve logged into both accounts, checked both the Meta Horizon app and the Meta website,

At this point, I'm not looking for a solution. Hello, I am a MetaQuest user from Korea.I bought it in 2020 and used it well, but around 2022-2023, when it switched to Meta Horizon, the account integration got messed up.I was unable to check my email because the email domain of my existing account had disappeared, and as you all know, Meta's login system was very complex. It would be easier to just create a new account, but I have purchased a lot of games on my previous account, and although I have tried various things to recover it, there is absolutely no way to do it. But when I actually tried creating a new account,it won't even pair, perhaps because Meta is already linked to my existing account.It has already been over four years since this device just became useless.I try to fix it every now and then when I remember, but there really is no way to do it. I tried to contact them via email but couldn't find them.This site is too complicated and useless.It seems like a site that is not user-friendly at all. &nbs

I can't I dim my environment to pitch black , and keep it black, when using Full Screen in Mixed Reality immersive mode... Well I can get it totally black, but then when you physically move slightly , the dimming automatically pops the setting back to make things dimly visible again. This seemed to have been fixed with release on version 2.3 - you could watch movies on Disney or Netflix, go into Full Screen immersion in MR mode and move about on the couch in a total black void without any visible distractions - which was great! Unfortunately as soon as the 2.4 release update rolled out, it reverted back to the broken behavior of snapping the dimming amount from total black to dimly visible every time you moved a little. I try and create a huge cinema size screen about 10ish virtual meters away from me, however when the dimming turns on I get the walls and objects in my tiny apartment messing with the illusion (and causing a stereo vision headache if not avoided).The unwanted auto

hello, my aunty has gave me her meta quest 2, it was working fine yesterday but today when i turn it on the passthrough mode keeps turning on and off, and then i cant select anything as the screen tilts, goes black and keeps repeating, ive factory reset it, and during the set up mode, it keeps doing the same thing, ive sideloaded the update via meta software tool and its still doing it, i dont know what else to do

Because meta support won't admit this is a recurring problem, they never tell you the fix.If the headset that is "not charging" shows the battery icon with 4 dots and the 0% text, unplug the charger, attempt to turn on the headset, doing so will finally completely drain the battery.Once the battery is fully drained you can plug the charger back in, the screen should show a battery icon with a lightning bolt in it, completely unique from the normal charging screen. From here the headset should charge normally.This issue is happening because something with the firmware updates has caused a bug where the light sensor randomly decides its going to permanently stay on but also drain an immense amount of power. When the headset dies completely it acts as a hard reset and the sensors are forced off properly.Hopefully this helps someone else out. I've fixed 3 headsets this way.

I have a Meta Quest 3S and recently when going to Horizon Central to meet my friends I can no longer hear anyone speaking. I can hear environmental sounds and the background music just not when people are speaking. I do not know if anyone can hear me for sure except for the fact that when I try to communicate no one tries to reply. I have tried to mute/unmute my microphone a number of ways with no effect. thinking it was my microphone stuck or glitched out but no luck there. It does seem like some people are talking to each other but no matter what I do I just can't hear them. Can anyone help me? 

my left controller wasn't working and one suggestion was a factory reset, now it is stuck in a screen which wants you to remove battery stoppers from controllers and won't move from this no matter what i do

Tested on Quest 2/3/3S - OS v2.4.1034After updating from 2.3 to 2.4 this morning my app is showing significant performance and visual issues.Apart from the framerate drops, it causes a black flickering on the screen that is only visible internally in the headset (i.e, doesn't show up on cast or video recording). It seems to be related to the use of OVROverlayCanvas as I tested an older build from two weeks ago that didn't have it implemented yet and the issue is not present. It also seems to get worse when I open the oculus menu within the app, as if adding overlay layers worsened the issue.Anyone else is seeing similar issues post-update ?

Hi all. I’m in a bit of a pickle. I own a meta quest 2 and 3S. The 3S died and we used the warranty to get a new one. However it turns out both systems were set up under the same Gmail account. I cannot for the life of me get my sons games and progress from the S3 back! The new headset doesn’t even have “quick settings” so I can’t log out and try a different log in. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Open any app.Once opened, open your menu, go through the stupid new UI and open the camera app, then start recording video.Take off the headset so it auto shuts off, which also causes it to stop recording video.Put the headset back on.You will now be unable to close the app you are in as the ridiculous new "current app" icon in the bottom bar will bug out and you can't click on it anymore.It's 2026 what tf are we even doing...

So i just turned on my quest, it updated, and now i cant input my passcode. Using the controllers the cursor comes up, I move it to a number, number changes color, and I cant select it no matter what I do. Anyone ever have this problem?

Hello,I've been playing with Meta's Hyperscape Capture (beta) and can't find an option to export the file to my PC. Does anyone know if this is a current option, and if not, how can we request it? It would be super useful. Thanks!JD

Yesterday my sons right controller just stopped showing on the display. I took the battery out for 12+ hours, tried a factory reset on the controller, unpaired and paired again. Nothing has worked, anyone able to advise me what to do? He only got it at Christmas 2025.Thanks 

wifiの使えない環境になったため有線接続でquest3とpcを繋ぎたかったのですが、CtoCのケーブルを挿しquestlinkが立ち上げた途端ものすごく画面が重くなり操作できなくなってしまいます、端末の再起動も効果がなく前の環境ではvirtualdesktopでのみ接続していましたがその頃は何不自由なく接続することができていました。解決策がわかる方がいればご教示願いたいです。

It is showing the light and the battery percentage but when I go in apps it like a dead hand when I unpaired and re paired replaced batteries and checked the controller it has this weird orange reside near the bottom spring connection but other wise it’s in perfect shape

Im not even having Quest 3s for a year and my controller stick drift is so bad that it doesn't doesnt move anymore tried calibrate , dead zones , nothing works , everything is getting worse , and i can't afford new ones. ant ideas or any free or cheaper replacement?

So basically, I had some right controller issues today and I thought I’d try to re-pair my controller and it wasn’t working in the Meta app so I got my spare controllers. I have two right spare controllers and both of them wouldn’t connect either so I thought I’d factory reset my headset now none of my right controllers can’t even get identified and I try them one at a time with fresh batteries nothing what do I do cause now I can’t. I feel like I can’t do anything. This is currently my third headset in three years and I can’t really afford to buy another one now my headset isn’t recognised on the Meta app because I just factory reset and I can’t get past the controller pairing menu at the start of factory reset so now I don’t know what to do sorry sorry for the rant just so frustrated.Bryce

I was playing yesterday it kept saying oculas core not responding and I closed it and ignored it but today when I went to go play on it it just suddenly brought me to the old menu and didn’t load or open anything so now it’s  just apps that won’t load and now I can’t use it someone please help me
