Solved

Hello, I am following this doc. and I also check Unity StarterSample that shows example to setup 180/360 video playback. But before going to video, I wanted to try this with an Image. So I added this setup:and now this is the RawImage with my custom shader:now coding part: RawImage rawImage = GameObject.Find("ImagePlayer").gameObject.GetComponent<RawImage>(); OVROverlay overlay = GameObject.Find("ImagePlayer").gameObject.GetComponent<OVROverlay>(); // OVROverlay won't check if the texture changed, so disable to clear old texture overlay.enabled = false; overlay.textures[0] = texture2d; //assigned from inspector window overlay.enabled = true; Material mat = new Material(rawImage.material); rawImage.material = mat; rawImage.texture = overlay.textures[0]; //I guess here the texture is already processed through ovroverlay ??is this the correct way to setup ovroverlay to process images? I tried with underlay and overlay as well but the visual difference is not too diffe

I am unable to access the menu when looking at my wrist in game so unable to take preview pics of my map does anyone know why this is?

How can I delete my meta quest from my account without also deleting the meta quest? I no longer have the meta quest.

Hello, As i said in the subject the Software says i dont meet the minimum requirements to play VR altough i have RTX 4080 I7-13700KH 32GB Ram 2TB SSD   thank you for your help!

If the end result—the specific hand poses and gestures—is functionally identical to Meta's, can they take legal action against me even if I used a completely different implementation method? Does legal liability extend to the user experience and functionality rather than just the source code?

My headset was working perfectly fine until I was not able to open my oculus money, but I was still stuck inside of the game that I was playing so I restarted my headset and now my quest 3S is now stuck in pass-through, but it’s a very, very laggy and I can’t do anything

For debugging and for a few specific bits (I want to make a Leia hologram in my scene), I'd love to have the gameobjects be translucent (alpha fine) to the passthru images. If I "just set alpha," the gameobjects are transparent to themselves... but they still block all of the passthru...So... is there a way to make a hologram in your living room that works?

Description of the Issue:I recently purchased a Quest 3 VR headset and was able to play Beat Saber without issues after the initial setup. It worked fine for one day, but I started experiencing an issue the next day. The game opens, but the play button won’t load on any song. Additionally, the icon that should be between the solo and online modes in the main menu doesn’t load.Steps I’ve Already Taken to Troubleshoot (to no avail):From a Quest 3 headset perspective, I’ve:Checked for software updates for both the headset and Beat Saber.Restarted the Quest 3 multiple times.Verified there is enough storage space on the device.Reinstalled Beat Saber multiple times.Tested other games, which work fine, except for VRChat (gets stuck on joining).Checked controller connections to ensure they’re properly synced.Factory reset the headset (this temporarily fixed the issue for a day, but the same problem reappeared after a few hours). From an ISP/Network perspective, I’ve:Tried port forwarding.Assign

Hi guys, My quest 2 has been working perfectly since i got in on 22nd of october. Now suddenly it will not boot up anymore. When I turn it on, it shows the oculus logo, stays there for a few seconds, then shuts down for a few seconds, and then shows the logo again, shuts down, logo, shuts down.... The only way I can really stop this, is by acessing the usb update menu on one of the loops and selecting "Power off". I have tried all the options and they do nothing. If I select "boot device", it starts the boot loop again as before. The same thing happens if I select "factory reset". Once I confirm that i want to factory reset it, it just goes back into the boot loop, and nothing else happens. So yes, i did try to factory reset it, but it just doesnt work.  Any ideas and tips would be greatly apreciated.

I’m sure I misplaced my glasses. Is there any way to locate them?

Apologies in advance if this has been answered elsewhere, I haven't managed to find a solution anywhere. On my quest 2, for a few months now, I haven't been able to bring up the oculus menu in a game with the oculus button to quit or capture content. I used to be able to tap the button and the menu would come up, but it does nothing now. I can still long press to reset my view, so the button technically works, but it just doesn't bring up the menu. To quit games I either have to restart my headset or use an in-game menu if it has one. Again, sorry if this is a dumb question, hoping I'm just being stupid and not doing something right. Any advice is appreciated.

My quest 3 will not start or do anything after receiving an update 20 minutes ago.  My issue is nearly identical to EvilinmE 's recent post. How did EvilinmE resolve his/her problem?

hello i have an oculus quest 1 and an rx 6500 xt i want to use the quest 1 for pcvr it connects with the app and the quest sees my pc but when i try to connect my quest with my pc it either gets stuck on the loading screen or it just cuts off and throws me back into the main menu i have been searching for months now. i tried older software but i dont understand it that much, alvr worked only 1 time but it cut off after 5 minutes of playing the forest and i never got it to work again i heard that my graphics card is too bad to run pc vr bc it doesnt have a video encoder or hardware encoder but after i got to play the forest i know that it can play pc vr even if it looks very bad  if you didnt understand something that i said tell me and i can try to make it more understandable Thank you for the help

Turned on Voice to text, now I'm stuck in the headset power menu, the volume buttons are not working to select anything, it's not pick up my controllers, and I tried a hard reset.  Please help! On met a quest 3s

While I understand the need for performance optimization, removing the Home environment entirely has removed a core layer of the PCVR ecosystem, the trophy and decoration system. PCVR users have the hardware overhead to support these environments. By forcing us into the minimalist Void Menu Meta has removed the incentive to collect in-game items and interact with the platform UI. Please consider bringing back a persistent, customizable "Home" for Link and Rift users who want more than just a 2D menu. How come you guys gave Quest cool 3d environments and PCVR users are stuck with some weird Interface. And if the Quest 1/2 can't run it then turn it off by default for them. I'm just saying Oculus Home used to feel more futuristic then the "Modern" Dash Menu ever has. Again Meta please consider bringing back what made Oculus Link special.

The other day I put on my headset and had a "Frames Per Second" overlay that appears in the upper middle of my view. I have no idea how it got turned on and I can't find any settings related to it. Does anyone know how to turn it off?

I recently received notice that I’ve been removed from the Meta Horizon Creator Program due to not meeting eligibility criteria.             I respect that programs like this have standards, but the decision was communicated without any specific explanation. As a dedicated creator working within Meta Horizon Worlds, I take my work seriously and put significant time and effort into building original VR assets and experiences.            My approach has always been focused on quality over quantity. I handcraft my work and prioritize thoughtful design, which naturally takes more time than rapid content production. Because of this, I’ve been building toward larger, more ambitious projects—including creating spaces intended for more mature audiences to socialize comfortably.            At this time, my only published world—BigBadLejin Vault—is nea

Anybody else having this issue where the headset shows as paired in the Meta Horizon app after a factory reset, but it’s NOT paired on the website at all?I’ve tried a lot of things and still couldn’t fix it. I reached out to support, but their solution was just to factory reset the headset again—which I’ve already done multiple times.I made sure to connect to a stronger Wi-Fi network, followed the factory reset process correctly, and even uninstalled and reinstalled the Meta Horizon app. Now I’m stuck on the pairing screen on the headset.

I’ve been working on a small VR project and noticed that some images/textures look blurry after importing, even though they seem fine outside.I tried resizing and changing formats, but still not getting good clarity.Recently, I tested enhancing images before importing, and it actually improved theresults a bit. I used something like https://reminniapk.com/ just to clean up details first. Is there any better workflow you guys follow for this?

Hi all,Brand new Meta Quest 3S. First time using a VR headset. Setup completed normally, and no issues with the hardware itself. Meta Horizons app on iPhone is setup. Location: FL, USASince Day 1, I have been unable to launch Horizon Worlds, or any world. I have a problem with my Meta Quest 3. It has trouble booting correctly after a recent restart. The logo twirls for a bit and then there is just blackness. I already tried the Cold start, Factory reset and sideload update but nothing seems to help. I think there is something wrong with the firmware but I do not really want to try and apply a unoffical  firmware hack.Sadly I cant use the help function on this website either, because the serial number is not recognized and from there the help database just let me run around in circles (Sends me to database, I look for an article, click on the help link therin and are being transported back to the page were my serial number is not recognized. No hotline and mail support leave me desperate for answers what I can do next....Has anyone any idea how to proceed?

Hi, I have an oculus rift S which I'm running on an Asus GA502IU laptop with a USB-C to displayport adapter. I originally had some issues with the rift S screen staying black, but managed to get this working by disabling the inbuilt AMD GPU to force the laptop to use the GTX 1660TI instead (For some reason, forcing OVRserver etc, to use the Nvidia GPU didnt rectify this, I can only get the display to work by completely disabling the AMD GPU).I have 2 issues with the setup now which are preventing me from using the headset.1. Meta Horizon library wont Launch GamesIf I try to open any occulus/Meta Horizon app or game, the menu briefly blinks in and out and the app does not open. Steam games open fine, but have their own issues listed below.2. Games in SteamVR run very slow, but SteamVR dashboard works fineWhen I open into steam VR dashboard, everything works fine, I'm able to load scenes, environments, props etc. with no issues. I even tried spawning in a lot of balls etc. and throw
