Solved

I’m not exactly sure how to explain myself, but can a game created in the horizon worlds desktop editor be converted to be released as a commercial game on the horizon store.  The world I’m currently developing is starting to outgrow its horizon worlds target and might be better as a full game.  I hope that is a clear question

I'm setting up my new Meta Quest 3 and I downloaded the app on my phone, however whenever I boot it, it's stuck on a black screen and does nothing

Hey Guys,Seasoned TS engineer here, but a n00b when it comes to game development,Well with models and animations in particular,Right now, we have some UABs in the public assets which are NPCs that come with baked in animations, am i right to assume.Meta does not support allowing users to import custom models with their own animations, and if I wanted to do this,I would need to import different meshes and then script them together. If I am incorrect, please point me in the right direction,Or if the above assumption is correct - does anyone know any streamlined workflows for a solo dev? I don't want to make crazy custom animated characters, just to have some unique models, so i am not stock with stock assets. Thanks

Hi everyone,Did someone know the Issue with the Quest 3 that when i start the game  Ilysia via link on Steam i got a double screen? My account was disabled unexpectedly, while I was in the process of just operating my daily scrolls with no ads/campaigns running in the background, no spam activities as well. And surprisingly there’s no appeal link or option in anywhere for disabled accounts. I’m not getting proper channels to connect facebook support team. I believe this was an error as I have been an active and loyal member of Facebook. I would request if this can be checked and my account can be restored as that's how I stay connected.Let me know if you would require any further info to verify my account.Looking forward to a positive response from your side.

Hey everyone,
I have a question regarding the payout in the Creator / Developer Program.Since September, my payout status has been showing “Not Set,” even though it was mentioned that payments would go out by the end of October.
Every time I try to update or verify my payment or tax information, I only get the message “Please try again later.”I’ve read in the forum that we’re supposed to update our details every month, but right now it’s not even possible for me to do so. Also the Tax Document? Is anyone else experiencing the same issue or knows how to fix this, so the payout can finally go through? Thanks so much for any help! Vanessa

Hi is there a way to buy new controllers for the quest 2? My daughter has broke the right one and it’s falling apart I looked on the store and there is refurbished ones but no new ones and are the refurbished ones just as good? Thanks in advance 😊

Is it correct that there is nu separate Unreal Engine forum anymore?Greetings from the Nehterlands.

I am working on a game in horizon world where players throw rocks to hit NPCs (from unity asset bundles). I am encountering an issue with collision detection where a single rock hit is triggering multiple events. Here's the setup:NPC has a trigger zone Player throw rocks at the NPC NPC should register a hit when a rock enters the trigger  and die after 2 hitsWhen NPC dies, it should trigger a single  event to move a bridge to the sceneCurrent behavior:Using CodeBlockEntityTrigger to detect rock collisionsWhen a rock hits the NPC'c trigger zone, the hit event fires multiple timesAfter 2 hits, the bridge move event gets triggered twiceWhat I've triedUsing state flags to prevent multiple hit from firingTracking hit processing state with boolean flagsUsing a set to track rocks that have already hit an NPCWould really appreciate it if you could provide suggestions on how to fix this issue. Thank you

Hello!I'm currently using the Worlds Desktop Editor to create an NPC in my world. When I click the “Edit Avatar” button, it correctly redirects me to the web page where I should be able to edit the NPC — however, instead of loading the editor, it only shows the message:“This page isn't available right now.”I've tried multiple browsers including Firefox, Chrome, and Brave, but the same issue occurs every time.Interestingly, when I share the edit link with my friend, they can open it and edit the NPC without any problem.Has anyone else experienced this issue or know what might cause it?Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!Web Console:ErrorUtils caught an error:GraphQL operation responded with error 1675030: An error occurred while querying. (Operation: CometAvatarEditorRootQuery)Subsequent non-fatal errors won't be logged; see https://fburl.com/debugjs.

Headset seems to work fine stand-alone.  I use the headset with IRacing, and often (not always) get a translucent horizontal stripe across the screen after about 15 minutes or so.  It doesn't feel like the headset is overheating.  This doesn't show up on the screen mirror on PC, or if I "mirror" with the debug tool.  Is this likely a failing display or is there somewhere else I should look?

Hello, I recently purchased the Meta Quest 3S 128GB (which includes Batman: Arkham Shadow and a 3-month trial of Meta Quest+) on October 23rd. However, I do not see the option to redeem the game, only the option to purchase it. I’ve checked my emails to see if there was a redemption link sent, but I haven’t received anything. Could you please assist me with resolving this issue? Thank you for your help.

Since the change over to the new dashboard I'm having trouble updating some of my pay out  information. Can anyone help with this.

Am I missing something? I've tried all I can think of, it just won't snow....

Hi, new developer here,I’m trying to implement a simple rock-throwing mechanic, but the collision event for when the rock hits an NPC isn’t registering.I’ve tried using trigger zones as a workaround, but that doesn’t work either, since trigger zones in Horizon Worlds cannot move with the rock when it is thrown. Can anyone offer advice or a workaround for it?

Hello everyone, I've been noticing that the hats and shoe textures are having a problem. Seems as if they are being assigned the wrong height or depth map when rendering.

Not sure if I’m in the right place for this or not, for some reason I am unable to post on the creator forum... Anyone else from UK had issues with receiving payouts from MHCP. I’m being told that I am not the “financial account administrator” despite the fact it is my own account… Support is poor, to say the least. I have spent the last 18 hours trying to work this out and no one has given me even a glimmer of hope…

Hello, I am facing a weird issue with my IAP in my testing account where every time, I try to fetch user purchases:IAP.GetViewerPurchases().OnComplete(msg => { if (msg.IsError) { Debug.Log($"Error: {msg.GetError().Message}"); //lands here every time return; } //other code }and this is error message:OVRPlatform [Purchase] Purchase::deserialize: response object field "grant_time" was not a uint64. Value is: -120and my log message:Error: Server response is not valid JSON.This started happening after my test subscription expired and I deleted the subscription from my dashboard. -- UPDATE --Same issue with `IAP.GetViewerPurchasesDurableCache()`-- UPDATE 2 --Looks like this problem is occurring with `IAP.LaunchCheckoutFlow` as well. In my opinion, this is likely a test account only issue but there is no way to confirm.

youve locked the bootloader, youve sent out faulty updates which people couldnt roll back from, youve now blocked the disabling of oculus.com.updater. when is enough enough

Hi gents. is there a way of running text to speech offline? I'm able to cache text voices in my local drive.

Will we get this fixed soon? If you put on newer avatar items made within the last week you remain dots/purple to fix this for now you just need to swap into some older clothing 1-2 weeks old and in most cases, it will make you visible again. Hopefully meta handles that soon. Then we also still have worlds crashing every 30 minutes or so still (been well over a month now) and everything has been extremely glitched out. With the new engine being worked on and meta pushing mobile gaming heavily right now I feel we will be suffering on the VR side for months to come until this new system is running!

I can't seem to get my newest created avatar items to work when going to a world. I load in as a generic purple avatar. But my custom avatar items have published successfully and show up in my avatar preview when equipping with these items. Just fails when I go to a world. HELP

I cannot set a Two-factor authentication. In the account portal, when I click on "Two-factor authentication" I have to select my Account but the button is not clickable. Two-factor authentication | Accounts CenterIt seems that popup is broken.I'm using Microsoft Edge - Version 142.0.3595.53 (Official build) (64-bit)

Has no one yet pointed out how totally confusing it is that theres a Meta Horizon Creator Program and a Meta Horizon Creator Partners program, and they both get referred to as MHCP in different places, where one has a Discord server and one doesnt; and you apply to join one or the other seperately. I've only just begun to figure out, but a clearer distinction between the two would definitely be helpful.  The Creator Program would hugely benefit from a discord server imo
