Since I had a battery related issue with the new quest (didn't charge), I've had to exchange the quest. New one works great. But now I have two quests in the oculus app. The old-broken-one, and the new one. How do I remove the old one from the oculus app?

Username: Informalfrog My Oculus carried out an update today. On completion of the update I was logged out completely.  I had previously set up my account (early Feb 2022) using my Facebook account (I only have one). When I enter the details (which I know are correct) I keep getting the message - "this device is connected to an existing account. Log into this account or reset the device to use a different one."  Again I know the details are correct and I have no other account! Please help

Hello everyone, I've encountered an issue with my project when I'm trying to make my unity game support mixed reality capture.I was able to successfully select my webcam on my desktop and connect on my quest2, but I'm stuck on the . I am able to successfully connect my quest2 on obs when I am launch the beat saber, except for my game. After comparing my game and other games that support mrc, I find the error in my game log (from adb):08-31 09:57:16.028 15850 15879 I OVRPlugin: OVRPlugin 1.86.1 ... preinitialized 08-31 09:57:16.154 15850 15879 I OVRPlugin: OpenXR SDK version 1.0.27 08-31 09:57:16.154 15850 15879 I OVRPlugin: AppNativeLibraryDir: /data/app/~~Ilxo98GhRdsMhYzcPvYa8w==/com.FB.UnityMetaMRC-hjTiR0Cm6u5aiqOYuffJzQ==/lib/arm64 08-31 09:57:16.154 15850 15879 I OVRMrcLib: Try loading /data/app/~~Ilxo98GhRdsMhYzcPvYa8w==/com.FB.UnityMetaMRC-hjTiR0Cm6u5aiqOYuffJzQ==/lib/arm64/libOVRMrcLib.oculus.so 08-31 09:57:16.154 15850 15879 I OVRMrcLib: Try loading /data/app/~~Ilxo98G

Hello there,I've been making a small VR scene in Unity. Everything is fine when im playing in the editor but when I make a build and load it through the Meta Quest Developer Hub it looks like the pic below! I've tried disabling the lightmaps and make everything realtime cause I thought that could have been the issue but it didn't fix anything. I can't even really google it because im not sure what is happening and every search I already tried didn't really help. I want to say that some months ago, like in, september, i was able to build the scene just fine. I added some extra models and an extra interactable, but nothing else that could suggest breaking the build like that. Also im using the v56 of the occulus integration package because that's the package i had when i started the project and i didnt want to break anything by upgrading (lmao). Any ideas? Also an extra problem, even though the game is only using hand tracking the Oculus is forcing me to use controllers and wont even let

Hola!I successfully created Spacial Anchors and recall them in my virtual/real space following this tutorial:https://developer.oculus.com/documentation/unreal/unreal-lsa-tutorial/But now I would like to know how can I erase all of them them inside the blueprint, and also how could I store each one with different names (sequentially as I press "create Anchor"), so I could recall them later individually. I don't find any info about it online...Thanks a lot in advance!

UE: 4.26.2Quest: 40Hand-tracking only: DefaultI'm making a touchscreen interaction for interacting with widgets with your hands. I get the socket location from the socket name "index tip". Index finger collision When I play preview from unreal everything works as it should, but when I package for Quest the socket location is not working as expected(it seems like the location is tracking the socket, but not correctly placed). Is there any other properties for the sockets when it's running locally on the quest instead of from the computer via link? Any input or knowledge is appreciated. Thanks

I've been exploring the capabilities of various VR systems and their approaches to tracking accuracy and user interaction. Specifically, I've been intrigued by the Quest 3's use of controllers with built-in cameras, primarily aimed at navigating and interacting within the virtual environment. However, this got me thinking about the potential for these cameras to be utilized not just for their intended purpose, but also for enhancing hand tracking capabilities, similar to how the Valve Index leverages its base stations for precise tracking.Given that the Quest 3 controllers are already equipped with cameras, has there been any consideration or experimental development towards using these controllers as a sort of "mobile base station"? Essentially, this would not replace the standard tracking functionalities but could potentially offer developers and users an optional, more precise tracking method when needed.I understand that the primary function of these cameras is not for tracking in

Hi,Could someone please explain the LocomotionExamples scene in greater detail? The specific problem that I am having is that I want to allow my players to teleport anywhere in the environment. According to this link, I just need to copy over the NavMeshHotspotWalkable and HotspotVoidFloor objects over to my scene and teleport should work. I also copied the rig from the example scene to my project. In my scene, teleport appears as if it is going to work, however, anywhere I try to teleport in my scene has a red "X" and I am not allowed to teleport. Any ideas?Big_FlexI saw on another post that you work on the Interaction SDK team. Any ideas why this is happening? I'd appreciate any help 🙂

I want to utilize the Debug Gesture Scene from the Meta XR Interaction SDK OVR Samples to create a special event that happens based on the gesture I want.  In the video below, you can see that the red node changes to a green node when there is a swipe action with hand tracking.  What I would like to develop is that when I swipe my hands from the inside out, trying to push the NPC characters outward, the NPC characters will animate and take a small step backward. I would like to know how to use the Debug Gesture Scene. How can I modify it to do the behavior I want?

Hello let me know have can fund Mexican tax ID number?😊 Thanks

I built the 5.3 fork engine and things went fine (apparently). I opened the Unreal Project Browser via exe in the binaries/win64/ and then tried to open my ue4.27 oculus fork project with making a copy. The opening failed after copying it and suggested that I open it in visual studio. I then tried to build the game via VS but get quickly hit with an error :Error MSB3073 The command "C:\...\UnrealEngine5\Engine\Build\BatchFiles\Build.bat -Target="UnrealEditor Win64 Development" -Target="ShaderCompileWorker Win64 Development -Quiet" -WaitMutex -FromMsBuild" exited with code 6. UE5 C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\2022\Community\MSBuild\Microsoft\VC\v170\Microsoft.MakeFile.Targets 44 I'm stumped and imagine there are many things that could have gone wrong here. Can anyone help here? Perhaps I need to rebuild some sort of migration tool? I have no idea and am grasping at straws with google now. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Hi all, I'm making a standalone app using hand tracking in UE5.3.2 + MetaXR v.62 plugin, I did get the hand tracking data in app and the tracking looks great-- but it's always using the defualt grey grid material no matter what. Below is the setting I have in my pawn:I also tried to use a button press to change the material in game, I could see the print string so I know it's firing, but the hand meshes stays the same. I didn't have the same issue in previous version(in UE5.2 with earlier MetaXR plugin)

We are trying to test subscriptions. The documentation is not very clear. It has a lot of information but is not well organized. I have read most of the links and try to follow most of them. I am a developer for my app but not the admin. I cannot look at credit card information. I assumed that when I set up testers they would have dummy credit cards to test IAP and subscription stuff. I created a draft subscription. I created a test user for the subscription. Then went to add that test user to the subscription. It all loaded fine and it seemed like it was going to work. But the moment I try to finilize everything an error occurs with trying to add the test user to the subscription. I get this error. Do I need to have the admins create all this? Because they have access to the credit card information? I did report the bug. Has anyone gone through the subscription process? Can anyone shed some light on the in game set up? I am currently working on the s2s code and entitlement checks

I am trying to create a socket for my weapon system, where you can grab the weapon within the collider. I am using interactor.ForceSelect() method to attach the weapon grabbable to the hand or controller but the issue is that the interactor is not ungrabbing the grabbable. The interactorAdded event is working fine but interactorRemoved events are null. Is the any way to detect the weapon release? How to make this weapon socket work properly with the sdk?

We're trying to pass an object when it snaps to a snap interactable. Currently, in the Snap Interactor of the object, in the optional field "Data", we've put the object itself. How do we go and read the data when it arrives in the Snap Interactable? We've tried to follow this tutorial but it's for HandGrabInteractable and HandGrab is Pointable whereas Snap Interactable isn't, hence when trying to create the ReadData functions and use it in the "Interactable Unity Wrapper Event", it cannot appear.Link to the tutorial : https://developer.oculus.com/documentation/unity/unity-isdk-use-data/

Now, I will have to say a few things before any replies on solutions are made:- The battery of the headset is 100%.- The camera is clean and tracking is working.- The headset itself on the outside has no damage.- This issue has just started. Well, to put it simply, it keeps turning off. I have to manually turn it back on and it isn’t a black screen of death situation. It could be that the power button has some dust in it but it is unlikely. It would be great if someone has this same issue as I have searched a bit and have not seen this issue in the slightest. Thanks for reading, WoofWolf21.

Hey people, Accidently I tapped the headset while adjusting the strap and activated Passthrough. Nevertheless, the headset is stuck on it now! I cannot get out of it! I tried to reboot several times, and even after restarting, the headset goes straight to Passthrough view. Any tip on this?

I've almost completed what I think is a pretty solid script to allow the user to download DLC (assetbundle) for my app using Oculus Platform. All goes well from entitlement checks, to retrieving prices, to checking already purchased items, to the purchase itself. Starting the actual download however fails and returns this error:Either the service couldn't be connected to, Horizon isn't installed, or you're running an incompatible of home/horizonWhat's strange is that I can't find anything about this error. Literally zero results on google.I'm testing the app and it's IAP with test users, which should be fineThis error occurs in the build (I have a worldspace canvas showing debug info). Because there's such little information on this error, I think it's because the error comes from the Quest itself and not from any script of my project (and therefore hard to spot). It occurs both when I've installed the apk directly to my Quest 2 and after downloading it from App LabGPT suggest

[EDIT] : After updating to the newly released game ready drivers (496.13) through GeForce Experience, and, as gary.clark.54584 suggested, repairing the oculus client by running the setup file again, oculus link seems to be working. I'm unsure which of the two actually fixed it, or if any actually did and the fix actually came from some update the oculus developers did, but what I'm sure of is that Oculus Link is currently working for me. Will update again if new issues arise. [ORIGINAL POST] : I'm seriously out of ideas.I bought my Quest 2 in early July, and it's been working wonderfully since. I've been plugging it into my PC with that approved Anker USB 3.0 cable, and I've had absolutely no issues with it. Most games run perfectly, such as Blade & Sorcery, H3VR, Beat Saber, Boneworks, etc. However, since today, oculus link just doesn't want to work at all anymore. Here's the exact chain of actions I take and the reactions from the Quest 2 :I plug the USB 3.0 cable in the

Hi,I just want you to consider the dubble line hight, when pressing enter starting a new line here in the forum. It just seems strange when you want to explain something by bullet point, like this:1. lalala2.ahhahha3. okay why thhe dubble line hight But maybe this will fix it, 2 sec.:Lalalaahahahokay i get it, but still - Is this the best way?Actually, it may be great - So please disregard, if you like it, the way it is..Maybe the editor could suggest bullet points - But I must admit - It works pretty good, when formatting the text correctly. Not sure, what do you think? - Have you found it annoying? 🙂Best RegardsJBAlso in this case, the associated product would be "Forum"Label would be "Forum"

Im trying to get all the bundles from the store to check the dlc im trying to buy, but when I call the Platform.AssetFile.GetList (as it says in the documentation: https://developer.oculus.com/documentation/unity/ps-iap/#integrate) I only receive all my bundles assosiated with the app but not the dlc files.I got the check up permissions and the dlcs are published, also those dlc files are listed on the extension files page in the dashboard, so I dont know why Im not receiving those files.

I am trying to add a second user to my oculus and when I go to do it and press the add accounts button it comes up with an error straight away saying "Something went wrong. Please try again later." It also keeps trying to get me to put in a code on www.meta.com/device even when i try to play a game it closes it and brings up that screen. Any help would be apricated

Hello, we are developing a cross-platform project for a Meta Quest 3 and a Windows platform. We are considering using the Meta Avatar SDK. Is this possible?
