I am trying to change the controller mapping for Teleport using Meta Interaction SDK Locomotion. I can see its set in Joystick Axis 2D Active State in the Selector and TeleportActiveState. But I would like to use buttons 2 and 4 to trigger Teleport. I used OVRButtonActiveState instead of the Axis2DActiveState scripts. But the Arc don't render. Has someone been able to change the teleport button to something else? Having it in the joystick creates a lot of undesired teleport actions and users are complaining a lot about it.

Hi there,I cannot access the scene model which I previously captured using Scene Capture. For my test, I have added the table of my PC workstation.Following the documentation I have added an OculusXRScene actor and configured it.This has definitely worked, as I can see the box shape representing the table when I hit "play in VR". Also, I can see the SceneMesh which I recorded with the depth scanner on the Quest3.When I call GetActorsBySemanticLabel and specify "TABLE" as per the semantic label list on the documentation page, I get zero actors.I am wondering if this is because I use link (for fast testing) but it would surprise me since I can access the scene mesh. Thanks for any hint!!

Why do we let one or two post wonders post on this forum?  All it does is clutter up this forum with useless posts that could be solved with very little google research imho.  I don't know what others think but this but I've just about had enough of this and I may unsubscribe to all of this, lol!

I still need to find my way through all the SDKs proposed by Meta. I'm a little bit confused about the one to pick... from what I can see the Interaction SDK is enough to create a VR experience, without the need to install the All-In-One pack... but I have a couple of questions: - Core XR SDK: the name sounds like something that MUST be included. In my project I haven't included it but I can compile and run my app without any issue. Is this just a misleading name? - Audio XR SDK: could I use the default Unity system or should I use this SDK? what's your take? - Interaction SDK: Am I correct saying that this is the only SDK I need to have a VR App (...capable to manage handtracking and controllers) ? In general I feel that for my App I don't need all the stuff included in the All-In-One. Big_Flex could you help with this question 🙂 ?

I wanted to Turn on developer mode for my account, but every time I try it will tell me to verify my account. I didn't have a payment method and Phone Number Verification wasn't working so I got the Authenticator App and connected it which did work. The only problem is when I go to create an organization, it still tells me to verify my account when I already have 2FA. I've reloaded and don't know what to do. Can anyone help me?

We have an oculus game on the store that allows users to import their personal assets (picture, video, music), and a web portal for users to upload/manage those assets. We want our users to be able to login to that portal using their Oculus account. The docs for Account Linking in the Oculus Developer dashboard reference a url to start the SSO workflow that turns out to be 404: https://auth.oculus.com/sso/?redirect_uri=https://someloginuri.com/oa&organization_id=1234567812345678 We thought that because Oculus accounts have now been merged into Facebook/Meta accounts, we may be able to use a classic FB login to authenticate our users, but this doesn't give us access to their Oculus user id, and the FB OAuth tokens are considered invalid by the Oculus Graph API. What is the up-to-date flow to authenticate oculus users on our website using their Oculus/FB/Meta account?

Hello!I have added IAP to my meta quest game but when I check out my payment transfers every payment gets converted to USD.The problem is that I don't live in the US, I live in Europe so the money is completly worthless. So can somebody please tell me how to convert the payments from USD to EUR?

Hi. I want to put my Unity game on Oculus Release Channel to generate some keys and give them to alpha-testers.But I can't validate my apk. I've got following errors:Необходимо настроить исключение из недавнего (android:excludeFromRecents в AndroidManifest.xml).APK main activity intent filter set to android.intent.category.LAUNCHER, but must be android.intent.category.INFO. Your app must only appear in Oculus Home. It must not appear in the phone’s launcher.APK main activity intent filter set to android.intent.category.LEANBACK_LAUNCHER, but must be android.intent.category.INFO. Your app must only appear in Oculus Home. It must not appear in the phone’s launcher.I've already generated .jks keystore file in Android Studio and put a link to it in Players Settings. On my device, through sideloading, the game is working.

When I make a new version of the metadata, it asks me to include a build that was uploaded to the production channel. However, I want to release that build at the same time as the metadata, but it is asking me to release the build before I can request a review.

HelloI'm writing here to get info about the availability of high-quality samples for the new Meta XR SDK.While the Oculus Integration SDK provided excellent examples, particularly in areas like gesture recognition and object grabbing, I've encountered difficulties finding similar quality samples for the Meta XR SDK. The few samples I've come across seem to be malfunctioning and not as useful as their Oculus counterparts.Could anyone kindly point me in the direction of where I might find samples for the Meta XR SDK that are at least as well-crafted as those found in the Oculus Integration SDK? Specifically, I'm looking for examples that demonstrate how to utilize gestures effectively, as well as samples showcasing grab interactions similar to the ones illustrated in this link, which were truly exceptional (images below)!!!

Please help! I have read over this page many times, and done everything I can think of:https://developer.oculus.com/documentation/unity/move-body-trackingBut when my app runs, adb always shows "iobt": false and I get IK body tracking instead. How can I debug this? Can I find out what CompositorOpenXR.cpp:8151 is doing?

StereoKit has been successfully using the official Khronos OpenXR Loader for around a year now, but v62 seems to break apps that use the Khronos loader. I've tried with OpenXR Loader v1.0.30 and 1.0.33, and both fail the same way. If I swap out to the OpenXR Loader included in the Oculus SDK, the same app does still work.Here's the logs I get when trying to initialize OpenXR:02-07 17:55:49.106 20464 20489 V OpenXR-Loader: Verbose [GENERAL | xrInitializeLoaderKHR | OpenXR-Loader] : Entering loader trampoline 02-07 17:55:49.106 20464 20489 D StereoKit: Runtime OpenXR Extensions: 02-07 17:55:49.106 20464 20489 D StereoKit: ___________________________________ 02-07 17:55:49.106 20464 20489 D StereoKit: | Usage | Extension 02-07 17:55:49.106 20464 20489 D StereoKit: |-----------|---------------------- 02-07 17:55:49.106 20464 20489 V OpenXR-Loader: Verbose [GENERAL | xrEnumerateInstanceExtensionProperties | OpenXR-Loader] : Entering loader trampoline 02-07 17:55:49.107 807 19682 I MRS

Is there a known limitation whereby enabling passthrough disables IOBT? Perhaps because both subsystems need to access the cameras?

I want to make an application where one of the steps is to make sense of the items around me, I initially wanted to use the self contained scene understanding but I found out that it has to do a spatial scan first which doesn't meet my expectations, I want him to be real time so I want to get the camera information to use to implement the item recognition function myself. How to get data from quest3 color camera, or get data from passthrough, but in video streaming form?If not, is there an appropriate solution for my need?

Having a problem loading my scene in from OVR Last week worked perfectly fine finding my scene definition. Today no changes at all will not load the scene and am gettinga popup before the app starts that "Scene Capture does not work over link" As well as "Loading the Scene definition yielded no result. Typically, this means the user has not captured the room they are in yet. Alternatively, an internal error may be preventing this app from accessing scene. Invoking NoSceneModelToLoad." in the warnings output in the editor. I successfuly set up the scene and can see my bounding boxes as I get close to the objects. My settings are as follows:I have also tried dumping point cloud data and re running room setup multiple times and cannot get the scene to load properly. I have no audio on my Quest headset when using Oculus Link.  These are all the things I have tried to resolve the issue:Reboot PC and/or Quest and plugged things back in in many different orders.Restarted the Oculus service.Tried different USB ports.Tried different USB cables.Tried both an active and a passive extender.Tried throwing a USB 3 hub into the mix just because, both as the first part of the chain and as the second part.Tried with headphones plugged into the Quest and with them removed.Tried toggling all the options related to sound that I could find within the software (Devices > Quest and Touch, all those sound options).Repaired / reinstalled Oculus software.Uninstalled Virtual Desktop Streamer app and its audio driver.Changed my desktop speakers from 5.1 to stereo.Attempted setting every single audio output device as default in Windows.Plugged in my CV1, went through the setup, and then tried piping audio through the Oculus Rift Headphones audio output adapter.Rein

Got the Quest 3 ten days ago. I've gotten warnings about USB-port containing some debris or liquid, when unplugging or plugging the USB-cable to Quest 3. This has also happened when I power up the headset with its power button. It is a popup window with this warning message.   I have no idea if this is software or hardware issue.   I got this message first time when I booted the headset for the very first time and plugged the USB-cable to headset.   There is obviously no liquid damage or visible debris in the USB port, the device charges OK, I've charged the headset maybe 2 to 3 times, and today I again got a warning when I pressed the power button and the headset booted.

Here are some tips and steps to help troubleshoot any pairing issues you may run into when connecting your Meta Quest headset with your mobile device.

Hi I just got my Quest Pro controllers today and paired them to my headset (Quest 2), however I can't use them and a little pop up saying "Controller update in progress (Left 0%) (Right 0%)" keeps appearing evey 30 seconds, I left the controllers a while to update but they never progress past 0%

Is it my issue or global bug? It looks foggy , no colors.

DetailsUnity Version: Set-Up: Meta Integration: Meta XR All-in-One SDKUsing Oculus Quest 2Hello!I am not new to VR development but I am for some reason struggling to build this new app I am currently working on. I have three issues.1. I am trying to add a Menu/intro scene in my app but the Canvas I have created is not responsive. The UIHelpers are working on hit-target, but the buttons are not.E.g., a button that should bring you to the start scene does not work. I have checked and re-checked the script and all the steps of this tutorial that I used in the past for other projects, but I cannot understand why it isn't working.2. The Menu Scene is not showing when loading the build - I am automatically redirected to the main scene. It only works when I remove the Main scene from the list of the scenes to load. Any suggestions for this issue? 3. Grabbable props I am using are not showing in the scene.I am following the official Meta guideline to build this app, althoug

Hi,I know the answer may already be in the forum in some form based on what I've already read but there are so many permutations on this issue I want to be sure I get the right answer for my specific situation. My son setup his quest 3 with his meta account. I presume this makes him the "admin" for this device. Since then I have setup my own account and set it as a supervisor/parent account. It's not clear if my son remains the 'admin' for this headset or if it's me now that I'm supervising his account. 1st question: is it likely that my son is still admin on this headset? We've both been able to log in and use the headset with both our accounts.2nd question: i want to buy a new app (bonelab) that my son wants. Should I purchase this through his (assuming he is still the admin) account or my account? I want to ensure we are both able to play the game on the headset. Some of my reading indicates I should use the admin account and enable app sharing to be able to do this? Is this corr
