Solved

I'm transitioning my project over to the new All-In-One SDK, and can't figure out how to add a pointer to the controller in order to click on canvas buttons. I can't find any UI Helpers of Laser Pointer prefabs. There's lots of documentation on hand gestures or scriptable controller stuff, although I'm just looking for a basic point and click feature. Does anybody know if the UI Helpers/Laser Pointer was changed, or I just have to manually script a pointer every time now? Thanks 🙂

Hi,I was wondering how to disable the head tracked dot(cursor) when I'm not using the Oculus controllers. I'm running an APK, and after a while of not using my controllers, they go away (sometimes in my face, but that's another issue), and it shows a white dot that can be used as a cursor (using volume buttons to click).  However, when using an android app with a gamepad, the dot is incredibly annoying, and makes the experience unplayable. So how do we disable the dot? Thanks,Peter

I'm currently developing an app using Unity. I would use the virtual hands to interact with objects/button. I aim to implement a scene where there is an object/button and upon pressing it, another object changes color. I'm wondering how I could achieve this. Any insights or suggestions on how to go about implementing this interaction would be appreciated!I did some with HTC Vive and Leap motion using Interaction Button (i am looking for something similar)

So, we have a project in development with shared anchors, but we cannot save or retrieve anchors from cloud. This work in quest2 but not in quest3.There is something else to configure to work with the quest 3?We are using: Unity 2022.3.4f1 and oculus integration v57.0.Thanks

Is anyone working on the Quest 3 elite battery issue?  It charges but won’t connect to the headset for more than a few seconds, meaning you cannot charge through the back port.

We are developing a multiplayer VR game.We correctly implemented full body tracking using live link and animation blueprint and it works for one player. The problem arises when multiple players join, then each player controls ALL other players skeletal meshes. So, for example, I'm player one there are 5 more players around me. When I move, all the other players skeletal meshes move on my screen in tandem. This is not a replication issue because if we DONT use the live link everything is correctly displayed (for example using tw bone IK).Basically the plugin/live-link targets all mannequins(skeletal meshes) in the map and not just the one that's being controlled.Another example to make it clearer: even when playing in single player, offline, if i place 5 actors but im possessing only 1 actor, all 5 actors move in sync instead of just the one im possessing.

I just installed an app, but I can't find it. But I can give it permission.

Absolutely nothing happens when I call Entitlements.IsUserEntitledToApplication(). I'm trying to test this in Unity editor standalone platform. The callback is never executed and no exceptions are thrown. try { Core.Initialize(AppID); Entitlements.IsUserEntitledToApplication().OnComplete(EntitlementCallback); } catch(UnityException e) { Debug.LogError("Platform failed to initialize due to exception."); Debug.LogException(e); ShowError(e.Message); } Again, "EntitlementCallback" never runs. I have completed the Data Use Checkup and have created a Test User for my organization, which I use inside Unity. I have not uploaded any builds of this game to any channels yet, could that be the problem? If not this, then what? Thanks in advance.

I have a game on AppLab built with Unity that was initially release about a year ago. Recently I've been trying to upload an update with minor fixes using MQDH but all I get is an "Upload Failed" message with the text "The build you were trying to upload has failed. Build Upload Error - an error has occured for app id: 4879[...]".Now, I CAN just sideload the apk via the "Device Manager" tab of MQDH and everything works fine on my Quest 2, which makes me think that the apk itself is okay. The error is the same when I disconnect from the internet before trying the upload, so my guess is that the apk fails some internal check *before* it is sent to the server, but unfortunately, the error message is not very informative as to where the problem is located. I only remember changing the Minimum API level and the Build Name and Build Code in Unity, everything else is pretty much the same as with the version I uploaded a year ago without problems.Does anybody know this problem? Is there a

According to the Unity XR Interaction Toolkit docs, Quest Pro doesn't implement the XR_EXT_hand_interaction OpenXR extension needed to use eye tracking with the OpenXR Plugin-in Provider.  As instructed in the Meta Gaze Adapter Sample, I have to use the Oculus OpenXR plug-in provider to use eye-tracking on Quest Pro. However, my project requires using the Unity OpenXR plugin.  When will Quest Pro support the XR_EXT_hand_interaction OpenXR extension?

Hello Support and everyone,We tried to complete the Organization Verification process by uploading new legal document, we selected contact method as "Email". However, it always gives error message "There was a problem saving your changes. Please wait a few minutes and try again."Is that any way to make it work please? Thank you.

Hello, can you remove TextMeshPro 3 dependecies from Meta XR package?TextMeshPro 4 is now built-in and it conflicted with TMP3 on Unity 2023.3alphaSee screenshoot:

Ever since our Quest 2s have started updating to v39, our applications are no longer able to find their device's serial numbers. This is breaking a lot of our work by preventing us to properly communicate with our backend. We previously used the following code in Unity to get the serial number, but this code now returns "unknown". AndroidJavaObject jo = new AndroidJavaObject("android.os.Build");string serialNumber = jo.GetStatic<string>("SERIAL"); Is there anyone else experiencing this problem that might know a solution? It would be very helpful if Oculus Support could provide us with information if they know what might be causing this.

Given the included 18w charger takes a long time to charge the Quest 3, can we get a higher wattage charger to get it done sooner. What the highest accepted charge wattage and is there a downside to the faster charging? Was looking at this https://au.anker.com/products/a2331?variant=45066671423791Thoughts??

Hi there! I'm yooj. I try testing Depth API with Quest Pro. But according to Documents, seems like it doesn't provide at Quest Pro devices. And the main reason is Quest Pro doesn't have a Depth Sensor. I asked here to clarify that I searched. Thanks for your support 🙂 !

I recently updated to Unity 2022 and saw this asset from Meta, my game is made for Oculus but I use HurricaneVR so I do not need avatar or anything like that but, does this asset, or any of the assets from Meta performance benefits without having to switch to their avatar and stuff? Thanks.

So today I started a sample project, there's going to be a couple of object interactions with Hand Tracking with the new SDK which is Meta XR AIO SDK. Everything works fine until I think about movements with Hand Tracking. so I know Oculus Integration released teleport locomotion with hand gestures, and I searched on the internet how to do that, but didn't find one, even on the Meta XR Interactions Samples, there's only an FBX file that belongs to a scene with the hand tracking gestures on it. but I don't know how to use it, does someone know how to do it? or get any tutorial or scene for a references?

I currently plan to use Lipsync for Unreal Engine SDK to drive the mouth shape of digital people. I downloaded the OVRLipSync SDK from the official website. This compressed package contains the UE project. The Unreal version I am currently developing is 4.23. I run the package in the compressed package. Unreal Project, I found that I can't open it, and I want to know why.

Hey! I've been trying to set up the passthrough API for the Unity HD rendering pipeline but no luck so far. I followed the tutorial and got it to work on the classic RP but with the HD one all I could get was a blend between real and virtual. Has anyone tried to do the same thing?

I recently got a quest 2 and set it up with no problem but now when I try to pair it with the oculus app it either gets stuck on the paring screen or it says unable to pair and gives a list of troubleshooting Ideas and I've tried all of them. I've also tried factory resetting my headset and nothing seems to be working, so does anybody know what the problem would be?

Hey,I've been having an issue with using haptics. I upgraded from unreal 5.1 to 5.3.2 and updated the MetaXR integration package to V60.0. After the upgrade, using "Set Haptics By Value" or "Play Curve Haptic Effect" both cause a crash in Editor and in the Meta Quest 2&3. When removing these from my BP, the crash does not occur.Did something change to the haptic functionality? Am i missing something?Sincerely,Raymond

For the v60 update, Oculus said it is now possible for apps to turn on passthrough while an app is loading. How can I do this?
