I try to buy a game orbs subscription but it says Smth abt unusual activities. 

Quest 3 running Horizon OS 2.7 build 5243367.3600.520 has completely lost USB data functionality. The headset charges but does not enumerate as a USB device on multiple PCs. It also does not offer USB data/MTP when connected to an Android phone. The issue persists in bootloader/recovery mode. Multiple known-good data cables have been tested, including cables that successfully transfer data between phones and PCs. Factory reset and port cleaning have also been performed. When you click on link, it just says "Charge only device connected" for every cable.

After Meta Aug 28 2026 firmware update... my Quest 3 will NOT connect to any of my bluetooth devices.... I have tried every suggestion meta has posted to fix the problem.... Still no good... It is a firmware problem

so far ... bought used quest 2 on ebay, no controllers.connected quest 2 to pc via link cable. meta quest link has connected to quest 2connected quest 2 to samsung a8  via meta horizon app. connected quest 2 to wifi. quest 2 is now updated.objective.i want to test the quest 2 with f1 2025, msfs 2024, and star citizen. no need for quest controllers yet. successful testing will lead to purchase of a new quest 3.issues.how do i get past the " pairing controller prompt" @ quest 2 headset?please advise 

Hello,I would like to move from controllers to hands. For this, in the settings, the option (Press the counters twice against each other to follow the hands) is active.In practice, this does not work, because the option (Automatic switching between hands and counters) is active equalization.The problem is that if I disable this option, the option (please apply it twice on the counterusers against each other for manual tracking) disappears. How do I actually enable this setting ?I made a video capture for you: https://streamable.com/gil4d3Thx. 

Hey there meta I’ve ran into a little problem with my kids meta account. I am 50 years old and my 14 year old daughter has a oculus this oculus is under my email ( not this one I’ll explain later). A few months ago me and my daughter tried to play some games and could not due to my Facebook account being banned because they thought I was too young. I’ve never posted or done anything on that account other than shop so I don’t know how you guys game up with that concussion. Anyway every time I try to contact your support team they tell me to log into my meta account but i can’t because it’s banned. I’m not looking to get the account back just the money so I can’t buy the games again for my daughter. She is distraught that all her gorilla tag cosmetics are gone😭😭

My quest 2 says it’s charged through my phone but won’t show it’s charging and it won’t turn on

In the Meta Quest Link app on my PC (Windows 11), when trying to add a new device, the window that shows all the Meta headsets to choose from is much larger than the display size of my monitor (1980x1020), so the "previous" and "next" buttons cannot be accessed. This is a problem with the Meta Quest Link software not scaling its windows properly. The Meta Quest Link window cannot be resized (the little square in the top right corner for resizing the window is greyed out), and my PC monitor is already set at its maximum supported resolution. Lowering the display resolution only makes the problem worse. While I can scale my Windows display to make everything larger, it is not possible to downscale the windows below 100%, so I have no way to make the Meta Quest Link window fit on my screen. So basically, I am stuck and can't navigate forwards or backwards from this screen. 

My main standalone Meta account is locked behind SMS two-factor authentication. Meta SMS codes are not being delivered, and my carrier has confirmed there is no block on my number. The account is still logged in and working on my Quest 2, and I have an active Meta Quest+ subscription. I cannot log in on web, phone, iPad or the Horizon app because SMS is the only verification method offered. The normal Meta support flow is also inaccessible because device verification rejects my Quest 2 serial number. I created this temporary account only to contact support. I need manual ownership verification and a reset/removal of the SMS 2FA method on my main account. I can provide the affected email address, phone number, Horizon username, headset serial and an active Quest+ subscription/ billing proof.

Venting. Trying to use the Meta Quest Link software on Windows 11 with the Meta Quest 3 and a USB cable is a horrible experience. Meta should be embarrassed and they should fire whoever is in charge of Windows application development.  The application sometimes takes minutes to load and is so erratic when it comes to actually connecting to the headset, which often gets stuck on the black screen when connecting to the PC. 

Hello, the Meta Horizon Link app I downloaded to my PC works perfectly, but for some reason, the app launches automatically every time I turn on or restart my PC.Is there a setting to disable this feature?Thanks a lot.😅

When I try to play a game the VR(Meta Quest 3s) keeps saying theres an update going on but when I check the for updates it says my VR is up to date I tried the connecting it to the pc while my VR was on Sideload and doing that but it said my VR is not supported and when I check the game too see if it needs an update it says game is up to date 

Hey so earlier my quest 3 won't connect to Wi-Fi I've tried to but it keeps saying limited connection, then I factory reset it, and it didn't work so I restarted it but now it's stuck at the updating screen and I can't get off of it also it's not even updating because it has no wifi what do I do I've tried to talk to customer support but they wouldn't answer (I waited like half an hour) I filed a report cause if you press the meta menu button so many times it lets you and idk when I'll be getting a response does anyone know what I should do, also should I mention that I am connected to hotel Wi-Fi 

I had to fix my meta quest yesterday because the new update would cause it to lose connection, but when i fixed it, there was a new problem where the bottom of the screen in my vr would become discolored and my pc would start lagging. Any fixes?

I’m on iPhone. My Horizon Worlds account is server-locked to a private Pets Park instance. I deleted/reinstalled the app, offloaded, updated, restarted phone. Still auto-loads “private park” with “The stream will begin shortly” screen. I cannot access any menu or leave. Please reset my active world to Home. 

AppLoftProblemWhen you press the Left Menu button, it brings up the Loft editor panel. Pressing it a second time (or hitting the small close crosshair) is currently designed by Meta to return you to the "Universal Menu" (the apps menu) rather than completely dismissing the UI, forcing an annoying extra button press to clear your screen.Suggestion- When Loft editor panel is open, Left Menu button closes it, dismissing all UI- If closing the panel with the small crosshair, likewise dismiss the UI, don't open another panel!It's not just that it takes two button presses to dismiss the UI from the Loft editor panel, it is really confusing because you form a memory of what button brings up what. Left Menu button brings editor panel, Right  Menu button brings the apps menu. But now when you press Left Menu button again to try dismiss the panel, it opens the one that normally comes up with the Right Menu button.If I want the apps menu, I can just press the Right Menu button!Super fru

I really don't like Dark Mode apps in general.For some apps it works but for the browser it looks terrible. I dont want to read white text over dark background in Google search on the browser. Makes me not want to use it.Also imho it looks kinda bad from within the Loft. White background panel would look way better.

My Facebook account, which was linked to my Meta account, was hacked. It is currently suspended with no option for recovery. How can I recover the games and purchases I had made on that account?

I think i speak for everyone when i say we should have the option to turn off the new navigator and return to the old UI with the taskbar.The new navigator is so confusing and laggy to work around, even today its still very clunky.If it aint broke, don't fix it and meta tried to fix it and broke it even more.I think meta should learn from the Windows operating systems as they had the classic start button for decades and when they removed it from windows 8 it caused tonnes of confusion and many users to even downgrade back to windows 7 (i wish i could do the same for my meta quest). Then Microsoft learned from their mistakes and brought the start button back in windows 8.1 and made it better in windows 10.I think meta should do the same

As is: when lying down, and "reset view" the quest allows certain pitch angles.When using a video playing app, like Fluid, or Moon Player, or  Skybox, or even getting the home environment (with immovable scenery/room) this "reset view" being step-wise prevents optimal placement.To reproduce:  While lying down try to the to reset view with your face pointing 35,40,45,50,55° up.You will find that the room only snaps to certain angles, making it harder to find optimal angle, where the main screen(s) are placed at comfortable eye height.

There is something inherently wrong with the Quest 3 USB-C port. Anytime I attempt to charge the device while using it, I get a pop up and it starts beeping a warning saying that the USB-C port has been disabled for dust and debris. There is absolutely not dust or debris. I know this for a fact because I exchanged a unit with a new one, took it straight out of the box with no liquid or dust in sight - and the brand new unit does the same thing. I am using the most current software / firmware as of September 2024.    This may be a hardware issue as it appears not everyone gets this issue. I’ve seen Meta marking several of these as solved when it isn’t, which makes me believe that this may be a known hardware issue.  Hopefully meta fixes the issue in future production. 

Im trying to air link meta quest 3s to pc but when im connected i cant hear a thing. The volume adjust is just gray and i cant do anything. Hope someone helps

So my son got the quest 3s for christmas last year and about 2 months ago it started saying finding position in room. Someone told him to do a factory reset. When we did that the controllers can not be found now. or they are suck on "your firmware is updating" and then it does nothing. I even left it on the update and powered on overnight and nothing changed. it just keeps telling me it failed. what do i do next? i really do not want to purchase another one if this is just going to happen again. Someone please help me!!!!

Hello. Lately, I have been having an issue where when I try to play my Steam VR games using Meta's Horizon Link app, it will randomly disconnect the VR headset from the link entirely. In some cases, the game (from the headset) will freeze and glitch out if I move my head at all. I have never had this issue from my +1 year of playing PCVR with this headset and now this issue has started occurring. I have tried resetting the headset, using a different cable, switching OpenXR(s), and even changing my encoder (from the debug tool) from H264 to H265. I think it might be due to a recent Link update, but I am not sure.
