is it possible to share the world link from the editor, or do we have to log into the web browser and go into the meta website etc to find the link?

Is it possible to export NPC avatar appearances edited in one world to another?

Hi,Wondering, is there a way to send a network event from player to server without using broadcast?I tried sendNetworkEvent(this.world.getServerPlayer()...) but it doesn't accept the server player. Thanks,John

Hello meta creators, I need some help because I truly want to cry. Since I deleted the leaderboard in ONE world, it's now impossible for me to get the leaderboard working in any world.   Can someone test this script to update a leaderboard?   Create a leaderboard in /Systems/leadersboard with the name "test".   Create the leaderboard at /Entity Build/Gizmo/WorldLeaderboard, and set its Leaderboard to "test".   Create a script object: Scripts/[+]/ and paste the code.   Create a Trigger and set its script to execute this code.   import * as hz from 'horizon/core'; export class TriggerScoreUpdater extends hz.Component<typeof TriggerScoreUpdater> { start() { this.connectCodeBlockEvent(this.entity, hz.CodeBlockEvents.OnPlayerEnterTrigger, (enteredBy: hz.Player) => { console.log(`Player ${enteredBy.name.get()} set leaderboard to 42`); this.world.leaderboards.setScoreForPlayer("test", enteredBy, 42, false); } ); }

Hi,I started with the developer instructions, but when I connect my Quest 3 to my USB port, nothing happens. The PC does not give any feedback that a device is connected and the Quest 3 also does not realize any connection. Also in the Quest 3 Settings, I could not find the entry to enable developer mode. I found it however in the Meta app, but activating it did not make any developer settings visible like it was with the Quest 2.My developer account is set up and verified according to the documentation. I also developed with the Quest 2 before.I also tried the Quest Link (with the official cable from the Quest 2), but again the cable connection did not work. Air Link works fine via WIFI though.Am I missing something? Did I miss installing a Quest 3 PC driver? Is my USB to old (3.0)? I tried different USB ports, 2.0 and 3, but with no difference. Thanks!

I've been using my Oculus for almost a year and a half now and I've had to troubleshoot it about every time I've had to connect it to my PC. Eventually, it works and I can hop on and play whatever PC game I want through SteamVR. Today, however, my headset is stuck in the loading void animation before it connects to the Oculus app on my desktop. This was normal. Usually, I could unplug and replug the USB-C cable into my PC and it would work again. This time, it would keep loading. I tried:- Unplugging and replugging the cable on both ends- Restarting my PC- Restarting my Headset- Restarting both- Using Air Link instead- Using a faster internet- Using and not using Ethernet- Deleting and reinstalling the Oculus Application- Deleting and reinstalling SteamVR and VR games, just in case- Updating Drivers- Checking for an Update on the Headset and ApplicationAlmost everything short of getting a new headset I have attempted. I got log diagnostics if those can be looked at to locate a problem.

I just updated my Nvidia driver to the most recent version (537.58), and now Quest link just isn't working at all. Tried uplugging and replugging the link cable, nope. Tried restarting the headset, nope. Anyone else having this problem?

I hope that this is an easy question.I want to get the name of the current sublevel. When I run this.world.name.get() in a sublevel script, I just get the name of the parent world.  So how do I get the sublevel name? I need this for scoring in my game.My world allows multiple sublevels to be loaded. So I'm not sure that a global broadcast or variable would work. I basically need to find out what sublevel a script is running in.

I have sublevels scattered around a large space but I find that I have to have duplicate sound clips within each sublevel because of a built-in audio distance limit (apparently 1000 meters?).This seems to apply even if I set the audio to be global. Is there a solution (beyond duplicating my audio clips?)

I also emailed support but thought I would try this as well. I have a meta quest 3 (7ish weeks old).I worked out yesterday morning with Supernatural and it was fine. Plugged it in after I was done. A couple hours later, went to put it back on and had a few things happen. I got the SIM card symbol with the arrow and the green loading bar. Then I got the spinning meta sign just constantly spinning. Then the spinning meta going to black then coming back on and spinning (repeating). I have also gotten the image of a little robot lying on his back looking dead.We have tried a few things:1. Hold power down for 30 seconds to restart - doesn’t work2. Power and volume down, did a hard reboot - doesn’t work3. Did everything on that menu including a factory reset - doesn’t work What next? Please help!

How do I turn off the default controller cursor (the annular shade marked off on surfaces by the incident beam of one of the controllers) for a given mesh or material?

It also refuses to compile with 2019 (which was hard to acquire anyways since its out of support by Microsoft, but still recommended by Epic Games's documentation. We have installed every dependency mentioned in the documentation, there are no error messages in visual studio while compiling. We are lost and have no idea, we are trying to onboard new members in the team and they can't work unless we all use the same unreal version, this is a huge issue. We would love to get any assistance if possible. What is happening exactly:- VS Studio compiles without issues but finishes faster than usual.- Upon close inspection we find a lot of files missing, including UE4.exe and other binaries, like the shadercompiler binaries etc.- No errors in VS Studio.- And Engine of course does not start when pressing F5 since well most parts of the engine are missing.Screenshot of the UE binaries missingThings we have tried:- Follow the documentation steps 1 by 1 exactly as outlined.- Recompile so it tries ag

0% update forever on both PRO controllers that are already sync with a quest 3 headsetWhat I had done..Pair them again and again the Q3 got them paired all the timeHard reset on controllersFactory reset on Q3 headset (even that involves a huge waste of time) V64 is the version of the software of my Q3Nothing worked so far in other post I saw that randomly people finally got this controllers working what was not my situationSupport on chat after we try it everything  ask me to send the pro controllers back what I already did  (I already did all that support was asking for but for respect the support guy time I follow all what he asked for "maybe it works this time by a chance").As I see this issue as very common I want to know what is going on for PRO controllers, Q3 is perfect for me for work as I use them as tool, but for play even vs Q2 the tracking of quest3 is inferior by a lot.If there is no proper solution for this I see no point in order another controllers or even kee

I apologize that this is not the right forum but my hands are shaking. I have been cloned and I never even knew it. They had me blocked and I couldn't see them. They are using my real life picture from my Facebook profile and they have completely cloned my name except for one extra dot. Are there any options for me? I just don't want this person to be taking advantage of people in my name.

How can a door with a collider only be visible to players after they enter a room, while also allowing other players to enter through the same entrance? Like in Spy School when players reach the finish line.

Suppose I have a 3D mesh of a button I want the user to press in mobile - how do I bypass the default control system?

I’m trying to create a UI similar to the one in the Meta Home environment, where users can move and interact with floating windows in 3D space. I’ve looked through the official documentation and forum posts, but I haven’t found any clear guidance or examples related to this.If anyone has experience with implementing this kind of UI or knows where to start, I’d really appreciate your help or pointers in the right direction.

Hi Creators,I am trying to do player specific UIs with bindings. I'm following this but I think I'm not understanding it correctly. https://developers.meta.com/horizon-worlds/learn/documentation/desktop-editor/custom-ui/playerspecific-custom-uiMy goal is each user has health. If they collect a heart they will gain +1 health and display it on their custom UI. When I am testing with my teammate. We both start of as 0 (I know, 0 doesn't make sense for health, but for testing purposes let's start at 0 😀) If bindings isn't the way to go, what could I do? If it should be bindings, does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Example below. When I collect 2 hearts, my UI will say 2, teammate will say 0. So far so good ❤️Now my teammate collects 1 heart, my UI will say 2, teammate will say 3, NOT good 😭 teammate should say 1If I collect 1 heart, my UI will say 4, teammate will say 3. At this point the count is off  for everyone. 😭It seems like it's adding on based the last val

Hello creators!I have object pooling going on for anything that requires spawning. The idea is I would spawn x amount of that item out of the player's view. When I want the object to "spawn" I would move it to the location I want . This is working for items that aren't movingHowever, when I try to apply the same logic to my enemy, my Enemy would not move to the correct spot. It seems to be conflicting with my navmesh code in my update. If I commented out my Update code, the enemy would move to the correct spot. Here is my Update function attached to my enemy onUpdate(deltaTime: number) { this.bounceTime += deltaTime; const bounceOffset = Math.sin(this.bounceTime * this.props.bounceFrequency! * 2 * Math.PI) * this.props.bounceAmplitude!; this.entity.position.set(this.entity.position.get().add(new Vec3(0, bounceOffset, 0))); const playerPosition = this.currentTarget?.position.get(); if (playerPosition) { const point = this.navmesh?.getNearestPoint(playerPositi

The sound on my Meta Quest 3 doesn’t work at all. When I first got it I was setting it up and the sound didn’t work. When I put it above my head (like rested it above my head) the sound worked. Then the sound stopped working completely. I tried casting it and the sound worked there but now it doesn’t anymore. I restarted it, tried Bluetooth, factory reseted it and there is still no sound at all.

Is it possible to resize users? Make them super big or tiny to enter a doll house, for example?

Hello, 👋Curious to know if the Gen AI tools are available for all users. I've updated my desktop editor (to Version 210.0.0.0.3.670), but I do not see the GenAI tools yet 😫. I'm located in California but have traveled often overseas. Would that have something to do with me not seeing the tools? I did submit a bug report just in case, but thought I'd ask if others are having the same issue.  A colleague of mine is in Arizona, and his editor got the tools just fine.Take care, everyone, and thanks for any insight! Can't wait to start working wihtthe GenAI tools
