The owner has his own account, with his own games. As I have bought the Oculus from him, I need to have access to his games and I don´t want to use his account because, now, the Oculus Meta Quest 2 is mine. How can a transfer his games to my account since from now on the Oculus is mine? Thanks Happy New Year 🙂Jose

Hello,I am working on an Unreal Engine 4.13.1 project and I am trying to get Oculus Multiplayer integrated. In OnlineSessionInterfaceOculus.cpp Oculus has a comment that says "// For now, finding sessions will only work with moderated rooms".I was using "SEARCH_PRESENCE" for presence sessions, but I got a warning from Oculus' code that said: "LogOnline:Warning: Oculus: Only Moderated Room searches supported. Set(FName(TEXT("OCULUSMODERATEDROOMSONLY"), true, EOnlineComparisonOp::Equals) to your QuerySettings".What are moderated rooms exactly and how do they differ from presence rooms? Is there anything special I need to do when creating rooms to make sure the sessions are visible when they are "moderated rooms"? I am curious to see if anyone else out there is working on multiplayer Oculus games and what their results have been thus far. Thanks, Jacob S

Hi All.I can create single hand poses (such as thumb up / fist etc) and now want to create a two handed pose - so for example - Left / Right hands open and Palms Up.I can't find any reference to this type of pose anywhere and can't figure out how to do this.  I've seen quite a few games now using two handed interaction so it must exist(!).Many thanks for your help.

I'm currently working on a project in Unity using the Oculus Integration package for Oculus Quest 2. The project involves hand tracking and interactions with various grabbable objects, such as knobs and a throttle.I've encountered an issue where, if I briefly lose hand tracking while actively interacting with a grabbable (e.g., by covering the Quest 2's cameras with my other hand while moving the throttle), all grabbable objects and poke interactables in the scene stop functioning entirely. The hand tracking itself seems to work fine when tracking is regained, but I'm unable to interact with any grabbable objects thereafter.I suspect that the interaction scripts might not be handling the hand tracking interruption correctly. Ideally, when hand tracking is lost and then regained, the grabbable objects should still be interactable.Has anyone else experienced a similar problem or have any insights into how I could address this issue? I've searched through the Oculus and Unity forums but c

Hello, I'm trying to get to grips with the scene querying functions, specifically in order to get the known positions of the floor, walls, desk, sofa and windows. I've set them up in the OS on my Quest 2 and I can see them renderered when in the home UI, but my sample app doesn't get any of the info. Instead, in the console I get: [OVRSceneManager] LoadSpatialEntities() OVRPlugin.QuerySpaces() failed.[OVRSceneModelLoader] LoadSceneModel failed. Will try again next frame.Spammed again and again. If I run "The World Beyond", available on the Oculus Store it seems to pick up my wall positions well, so I suspect it's something to do with my config, or the version of the package/Unity I'm using. Can anyone help? Here's my setup:Barebones project with Unity 2021.3.10f1 on Windows 11Oculus Integration v43.0Build Settings set to use the VirtualFurniture sample sceneChanged OVRCameraRig to enable passthrough and experimental featuresChanged Player Settings to use IL2CPP and build

Hi,I am building an Oculus app where similar to workrooms I want to have avatars seated on objects. I have tried this but the avatar always seems to be standing on the object. I have tried to calculate an offset to compensate but it is inconsistent. Is there a way to either calculate an offset to to get the y axis of the bottom of the visible avatar body so that the avatar looks like it is rested. I am using the latest SDKs and Unity. Thanks!

After Updating the Meta Quest 2 to v55 from v54 the GPU usage has increased from 50-70% to 90-99%. I had to reduce the resolution by 30% to maintain the solid 90fps that I had before the update. I've read online that some people now can't play some games like Beat Saber anymore after the update because it stutters a lot.

Oculus Quest 2 connected to PC through link cable. Has been working for over a year. Now run Unity project. On Oculus Screen clears, a box appears. On the bottom it says Loading... Then screen goes jagged. In a second, link disconnects and Oculus goes to home screen. On the computer, a Unity crash screen comes up. Then when I click the Run/Stop button on Unix, the project closed and a crash collection screen comes up. I did submit a crash dump to Unity. Collected Quest Logs but can't figure out whom to email them too.

I need help getting my Quest 2 to connect to my MacBook Pro via USB because, unlike this guy - https://neerajjaiswal.com/how-to-setup-for-quest-2-development-on-mac-using-unity-without-bootcamp, I can't get the connection to work.  I've followed the instructions in the link above, but just to summarise: - I have verified my developer Oculus account, where I've set up an organisation for app' development- I have the Oculus phone app', which has connected to my Oculus 2, where it's enabled developer mode- The system settings on my Quest 2 show a developer section, and I've enabled the USB connection dialogue- I've installed the Meta Quest Developer Hub (MQDH) and tried ADB drivers from Unity, Android SDK, Android File Transfer, and MQDH itself- I can see the USB C cable connects because whenever I plug it in, I get an "extended battery" notification However, the EFFING ALLOW DEBUGGING NOTIFICATION NEVER APPEARS. GRRRRR Meanwhile, I've done a hard reset on the Que

Has anyone managed to enable the passthrough function?https://developer.oculus.com/experimental/passthrough-api/ I've tried the Oculus Integration 31.0 passthrough sample scenes, but I'm getting the error "Failed to initialize Insight Passthrough. Passthrough will be unavailable." OVRManager passthrough related options are enabled. I confirm I'm using Oculus runtime v31 and OVRPlugin 1.63.0, and the experimental system property is enabled. <uses-feature android:name="com.oculus.experimental.enabled" android:required="true" /><uses-feature android:name="com.oculus.feature.PASSTHROUGH" android:required="true" />>adb shell getprop debug.oculus.experimentalEnabled1 It seems OVRP_1_63_0.ovrp_InitializeInsightPassthrough() fails.

The App Lab app has today deleted itself from Quest 2 headsets!!We are a VR game studios and 1/2 of our VR studio team have been affected by this in the last hour and seems to be increasing across the team  / who can I contact? In the middle of important game dev work with a deadline ahead so this is an urgent issue. Anyone else had this problem or shed any light?

We have a VR app we'd like to bring to Oculus platforms, and it's made in Unity using the gamma colorspace. We're finding that the OVRGradleGeneration build step reports the following: "Oculus Utilities Plugin with OpenXR only supports linear lighting. Please set 'Rendering/Color Space' to 'Linear' in Player Settings" It's not practical for us to convert our app to linear color space at this time. Is there a timeline for gamma color space support in Unity with OpenXR? Is it intended to only ever support linear color space? Any potential workaround for this? We are using OpenXR on other platforms, so we're not enthusiastic about moving to non-OpenXR options on Oculus.

I'm attempting air link. I meet all the PC requirements. I have the Meta quest 2 connected on a 5 GHz Wi-Fi and the PC is connected through a functional ethernet cable directly to the router... I am however using a Google mesh system, I know that that can apparently make things difficult, but it was never stated it would be impossible. My issue is that even though my computer is clearly connected to the internet with an ethernet cable that functions and allows for PC gaming with all other mediums. When I try the air link it says that one of my missing requirements isn't ethernet connection? The quest link does work with the cable but again still runs into those missing requirements when attempted to be paired with the PC. Any and all help would be appreciated.

Many of us have issues with V54, giving us network spikes and stutters. It is most noticeable in Virtual Desktop, sometimes in Airlink. I'm not on PTC, and V51 before this wasn't giving any issues. Not a user error I've already Factory Resetted my Quest 2 and the issue is still there. To be clear, nothing has changed from my setup in V51 to V54, only that this issue came up in V54. Please fix this for the future updates! Thanks

We're using the Keyboard overlay with Unity 2020.3.14 / Oculus XR Plugin 1.10.0pre2 / XR Plugin 4.0.7. We have two related issues:When pressing the keyboard close button (bottom-right) the keyboard just reappears. It seem Unity never gets the focus back as I don't get a InputFocusAcquired event. The keyboard overlay doesn't seem to handle multiline fields properly. I would expect the tick button to become a return, but pressing this doesn't add a return and instead closes the keyboard, then re-opens it again and because of the previous issue with the close button means you are stuck in the keyboard overlay with no way out...Both these issues happen with Unity UI InputFields & TMP versions. Thanks,Pascal.

I seem to be at a loss for I have been working on this problem for the last couple of days.I am trying to create a game where the player walks through the environment by walking around their play area given it meets the requirements (7 ft x 7 ft). I, however, seem to not be able to make the world align with the play area. I am able to get the play area and calculate where the player is inside of the play area as well as calculate the angle in which the world needs to be rotated to become aligned with the play area. Nothing that I do has seemed to work despite the numbers I have gotten. Has anyone else done this and can give me pointers or a solution on how this might be done?

Hello.I'm trying to use the Interaction SDK. I have a quite simple scene with a Canvas and a Plane (floor). Thanks to the Interaction SDK, I can use my hands to interact with the Canvas. That part is working fine. But now, I would like to be able to point somewhere on the floor and get the position when I pinch my fingers. To do so, I put a Ray Interactable component and a Pointable Plane component on my floor. Right now, I can point the floor, I can see the cursor moving on the floor as expected. My question is : How can I get (in script) the position on the floor of the cursor when I click (by pinching) ? Seems pretty simple but the documentation does not help me.Thanks

Hi everyone, i saw on other post a lot of tries on alinging the virtual room with the wold position, and i think I almost got it. I coudld do it on the last version of oculus integration, but i cant do it with the new one.My way to aling the room was using the "OVRManager.boundary.GetGeometry(OVRBoundary.BoundaryType.OuterBoundary)"wich gives you an array of points according to the guardian boundary that you did. This worked perfect, and i could get the position of the first point and then saving the position of he virtual room acordding to this point (and saving it on the player prefs) then to get the rotation i just took 2 points of the boundaries and getting the angle between those. BUT... the outerboundary got deprecated on the last version and doesnt seems to work anymore. (Wich is so bad case i need the Application Spacewarp)So, I should find another way to get the guardian boundary points or anything that gives me some real world points. It would be so helpful&nbsp

Hi.The Oculus Quest/Rift software allows the setting of a Guardian space, which has a defined width, length, and center in any given room. The Guardian does not change when resetting the view or taking off the glasses, waiting for them to go to standby, and turning it on again. However, when resetting ("centering") the view or taking off/putting on the glasses, the center point and orientation of the user changes. In particular, the current center of the user changes to 0,0,0 in Unity, but this is no longer the center of the Guardian. My question: Is there any way to keep the Guardian center at 0,0,0 in all cases, even if the user resets their view? Thank you.

New to meta quest development. Downloaded the Oculus integration package and attempted to access the boundary geometry via OVRBoundary.GetGeometry(), but it keeps throwing the error "This functionality is not supported in your current version of Unity".I've tracked the problem to the OVRPLUGIN_UNSUPPORTED_PLATFORM preprocessor directive, which is apparently being set at some point by the unity engine, but I don't know how or by what. I'm building and deploying directly to a meta quest 2 with OS SQ3A.220605.009.A1, runtime version 53.0.0.137.132.472990674, version 53.0.0.137.132.472990659. The quest device gives me no options to update the firmware.Reinstalling the Oculus Integration package made no difference. Upgrading to Unity version 2022.2.21f1 made no difference. Oculus is selected as the XR Plugin in project settings. Meta Quest Support and Meta XR Features are both selected in OpenXR. Working in Windows 10 Pro. Oculus Integration version 53.1.The specific script in question is:&

Is there any official support provided by meta engineers or are we really supposed to debunk everything on our own ? Any premium support offer?

I’m following the user verification flow from meta here: https://developer.oculus.com/documentation/native/ps-ownership/#integrate-user-verification… in order to validate the identity (user id) of a user that I got through invoking the user proof sdk method ovr_User_GetUserProof().90% of the time, invoking the meta nonce validation endpoint results in a successful validation, when I call this: https://graph.oculus.com/user_nonce_validate using the user id and nonce from ovr_User_GetUserProof().  But for 10% of my users, I get a invalid_request from the service!I'm invoking this endpoint in a nodejs service like this:   const verifyRequestPayload = { access_token: `OC|${appId}|${appSecret}`, nonce, user_id: `${userId}`, } const response = await axios.post(`${oculusServerHost}/user_nonce_validate`, verifyRequestPayload)  Calling with a string or number `user_id` makes no difference; some users always end up with

For some reason hands tracking is not working anymore in Unity editor.Tried with Quest Link and with Air Link.Tried in a clean project with the latest updates and Quest Pro.Tried in some old project for Quest 2 (and with Quest 2) where everything was fine a few month ago. Nothing.Checked with Oculus Integration examples - controller ok, hands are absent in the editor. In latest Unity Movement examples eye & face tracking works, controllers works, but no hands tracking, no head movement mirroring, no hands mirroring even with the controllers in the scene. And of course I tried to reboot everything. No errors in editor, but some warnings appear (only sometimes):I will be grateful for any help. Windows 11Unity 2021.3.4/2021.3.13Oculus Integration v46Oculus XR 3.2.2-pre.1Oculus app version 46.0.0.230.0 (46.0.0.229.0). I am trying to verify my developer account because it will be required soon and since I don't have a verified business I wanted to do admin verification. when I tried to verify though I accedently closed the page and now it is under review but I think I broke it because there's nothing to review and I don't know if it will be reviewed and I won't be able to verify it.

We're trying to build an experience with Shared Spatial anchors, and it seems like we've followed the example scene well. We're able to create an anchor, save it to the cloud, share it to another player, and then have that player query it and instantiate it in their room. The anchor ends up appearing in the correct place, with the correct rotation, but when the receiving player tries to align to it, their location and rotation don't adjust to it at all. It stays exactly how it was. Here's the code we're calling once the anchor is instantiated.private IEnumerator RealignmentCoroutine(OVRSpatialAnchor spatialAnchor) {        Debug.Log("Aligning player to anchor: " + spatialAnchor.name);                if(_currentAlignmentAnchor != null) {            player.position = Vector3.zero;            player.eulerAngles = Vector3.zero;            yield
