Hello, can someone please help! I have family supervision set up between a teen and parent account.  When my parent searches for the App i want (Untangled), the Allow button is greyed out and it says the profile is blocked from using this app.  Why can't my parent give access? We are in Australia

Hi everyone,Since updating my Meta Quest 3 to v2.7, I have encountered a controller connection bug that occurs with 100% consistency. Setup & Usage Context:I primarily use my Quest 3 for media viewing and desktop tasks (e.g., YouTube, Virtual Desktop). During these sessions, the controllers remain untouched on my desk for hours.Symptom Details:Unresponsive After Sleep: After leaving the controllers untouched for a few hours, they go into sleep mode as expected. However, touching them or pressing buttons no longer wakes them up. They remain completely unresponsive.Battery Reset Fails: Removing and re-inserting the batteries does not restore the connection. The only way to recover controller functionality is to restart the headset.Forced Hand Tracking: When the controllers freeze in this disconnected state, Hand Tracking automatically turns ON—even though I have explicitly toggled Hand Tracking OFF in the system settings. (I am currently using this auto-enabled hand trackin

Ciao a tutti, vorrei sapere se qualcuno sta pensando ad una App per musicisti?Sarebbe bello poter vedere lo spartito sugli occhiali ed avere la base musicale che collego via bluetooth ad altoparlanti esterni.

I'm finding an intermittent bug appearing on startup where the headset cannot find your position in the room stopping the headset from opening.. If it happens to you, don't panic just tap the side button and the headset will start normally.. I've reported it as a bug,. If it happens to you it's a good idea to report.. It's more of a minor annoyance than anything else., but just letting people know.

I've never really encountered this kind of gaslighting from a company before.  Its been more than two weeks now, that Meta has had both my son's controllers AND his headset, which needed replacement.  There were a number of problems, but basically they split the return shipment.  So great, we have the headset, but they did not send back my son's controllers, which means the headset is basically useless.  Now comes the gaslighting part, and this seems to be an issue that Meta VR users are all too familiar with.  Every time I contact support, (which has been every day) they pepper me with platitudes about how much they care.  They ensure me that my son will be playing soon!  They are working hard!  They are REALLY trying!  They will send an update when they have one! Then nothing.  So its been more than 2 weeks, my son is pretty much beside himself.  He has lost progress, missed out on updates, probably has been demoted in various ro

Pretty much what title says - since update 78.1027, native apps had no or extremely weak haptic response. After updating to 1030, they now do have, but it still very weak. (Basically it is not possible to feel the vibrations in game like Beatsaber, breaking the immersion completely)I tried to solve this issue in the past (v.74) and only rollback to v.73 helped. Not the same annoying bug is back again.I honestly have hard time to understand how this can happen. (Disregarding completely different issue, that i have disabled autoupdates, and it updated to v.78 anyway).I did send the bugreport from quest.

I HAVE BEEN GOING ROUND IN CIRCLES TRYING TO SORT OUT THIS ISSUEThe issue as presented to the 'help centre' (what a joke) I need help with a Meta Quest 2 that is stuck in an orphaned/desynced device state and needs its device record cleared on your side. The headset is set up for my child's Meta account (I'm the supervising parent). The problem:- The headset appears in my child's Meta Horizon mobile app, but NOT in their account at auth.meta.com/settings/my/devices or in the desktop app- The headset itself says "account not found"- Opening Manage profiles in the app gives: GraphQLError 1675012, OCDeviceProfilesManagerSurfaceQuery What I've already tried: clearing app data, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, logging out and back in, and checking the desktop app (the device isn't listed there to delete). There is no serial number evident where it is supposed to be, it was a secondhand unit, but it has previously been working via the same account details with no issues.Could y

Several weeks ago Meta replaced my meta 3 with a new one off warrenty ( so it cost me.) Since then I've had a lot of install problems and linking as well. Now I finally have a wifi install/link that works quite well ( as well as the cable link I had initially.) Through out my years of use I have repeatedly got blue and red banner messages on the Meta Homescreen that warn me that I haven't got enough in my PC to use Meta VR, inspite of the fact I have a brand new Pc with a 5060 graphics card ( BTW my old PC worked well with my old headset.) I play , in the main three flight sims where I experience these stutters:Great Battles, Korea, and Cliffs of Dover, which are aviable through Steam or through the developer's online  store. So far I've tried everything I can think of and I'm completely up to date with updates on Windows , graphic card and game installs, yet still the problem exists apparently through capatabilityproblems between the PC and the install and linking of the headset.Me

Hi everyone, I am looking for help with a persistent cloud backup issue. My Meta Quest headset is working completely fine, but I cannot restore any of my game or application backups because the end-to-end encryption PIN is completely out of sync. The core issue is that the headset simply refuses to recognize the PIN: I have reset the encryption PIN multiple times using the Meta Horizon mobile app on my phone. I even tried setting very basic codes (like 111111) in the app to make sure there was no typing mistake, but the headset still rejects it every single time I try to restore my data. I have already gone to secure.oculus.com/my/cloud-backup/ on a web browser and deleted the backup data to try to clear the glitch, but when I try to sync on the headset, it still prompts me for the PIN and fails. The headset itself is accessible, but this synchronization failure is preventing me from getting my saved game progress back. Has anyone experienced this specific

I haven’t used my meta quest 2 in a long time and it says to go to http://www.meta.com/debices to enter the code but I am not prompted to enter the code so idk what to do.

Hey there!I wanted to take the dust off my Quest 3S today. After booting it up, it forced an update onto the system. After that update, nothing is working any more.It boots up normally at first, but first thing asks me if I want to enable wifi debugging. If I cancel, the request comes up again 1s later. Even if I say yes, it comes back up 1s later. The whole visuals of the hub are also extremelly unresponsive with the screen not updating for seconds at a time and my input not going through. The only option to advance is clicking "always enable wifi debugging on this network"But a few seconds after that, the whole system is completely unresponsive. It doesn't detect any input from me any more, sometimes the head tracking turns off. I can see the store window in front of me, and it updates and is animated like normal. But after that there's nothing I can do anymore besides restarting the system and going through it all again. Is my Quest 3S completely useless now? Did the update just brick

Hello everyone,My Rift S VR mask stopped working after September's Windows 11 update. What's happening is that  even though DisplayPort and USB are successfully connected in the Meta Horizon Link, when it is trying to check the headset sensor it fails.Any ideas?

I sent my Quest 3 controller for an official replacement 6 months ago. Since then, my headset has been completely unusable.Every email from support is the same automated response asking me to wait without a shipping date. However, these controllers are currently in stock and available for purchase on the official Meta Store right now. Here is what happened so farEmail Support: Standard macro response for half a year.Live Chat & WhatsApp: Reached out to live support, but they simply merged my new inquiry into the old pending ticket and closed the chat without resolving the issue. It feels like all communication channels are blocked while my replacement remains on hold indefinitely.Has anyone dealt with this kind of stock allocation issue before? Any advice on getting this escalated to the actual team would be greatly appreciated. I can't do anything without the controller.

I want to formally complain about the way Meta Horizon Link handles application startup on Windows.Meta Horizon Link automatically launches every time Windows starts, without providing the user with a clear and functional option to disable this behavior. This is unacceptable for desktop software.I have checked both the Meta Horizon Link settings and the standard Windows Startup Apps settings. There is no straightforward “Start Meta Horizon Link with Windows” option that I can simply turn off.Instead, users are apparently expected to find and modify Windows system services, such as:Oculus VR Runtime Service → Startup type → ManualIn other words, instead of providing a basic application setting, Meta has effectively pushed users toward system-level workarounds just to prevent its application from launching. This is not a reasonable user experience.I am not asking to disable Quest Link, VR functionality, or the services required for the headset to work.I simply do not want Meta Horizon Link

There is a user that joins the Puzzle Paradise world and somehow has the ability to run on the top of the buildings.  Once that user is on the top of the building, he resets the puzzle on everyone.  If you get him booted somehow from the game by looking up the user - he blocks you so that you can't boot him a second time. The user starts with Funny1y....something yet the name is under Sunshine. You can't report the user for anything because it's not against the community standards - yet - is disruptive and annoying..and odd that the user has found a back door to jump on the top of the buildings.

Hi, I'm the rightful owner of a Meta account (email: diw**@gmail.com) that got permanently disabled after the age-verification deadline on June 6. I received the "permanently disabled" email, which seems to be part of a batch enforcement, and I'd like to request a manual review.First things first: I'm well over the required age. I'm an adult and a recent university graduate, and I'm happy to send a government-issued ID right away to confirm my age and get the verification process reopened. The main problem is that I can't reach any appeal option at all. Whenever I try to log in (web, incognito mode, different browsers, a different device, even the Meta Horizon / Quest app), I just get bounced back to the login screen. There's no "account disabled" message and no appeal or age-verification prompt anywhere. And every standard support path assumes I can log into the account first, which I can't. Two things that show the account is genuinely mine and still recoverable:-  When I re

I have a Meta Quest 3S purchased legitimately on Amazon, and there is an issue with the left controller's analog stick.I tried recalibrating it, but the process fails.I tried contacting support...The device shows up in the Horizon app, but the app cannot connect to support due to "technical issues".I went directly to the Meta website and logged in with the same account I use for Horizon and Meta Quest (the only Meta account I own), but it doesn't show any devices linked to this account.I followed the form and manually entered the codes for both the controller and the headset, but the website doesn't recognize the code (I even used a QR code scanner to make sure I didn't miscopy it).I submitted feedback through the Horizon app requesting to be contacted by support, but I never received a reply. It feels like the system is designed to prevent users from receiving support.

Brand new quest 3 just arrived, configured an everything was doing pretty well. Was just logging into a game when all tracking just stopped working, a window saying "Tracking lost" showed up, but I couldn't click anything since the controllers stopped working too, hand tracking also wasnt working. I tried cleaning up the cameras with a very soft towel, tried rebooting, resetting to factory settings, everything I could. The screen is either completely black, black with a dot or on the starting screen asking to turn on the controllers, but the screen just moves randomly and isn't following the headset movements at all. There is a white dot blinking on the left controller and they keep vibrating every few seconds.

My quest 2 says that it cant connect because the password is wrong, it says "saved / check password and try again" and i have, its the right password. I forgot the network- didnt work. I turned of and on the headset- didnt work. I FACTORY RESET IT [guess what]-DIDNT WORK IVE TRIED EVERYTHING, Please help me

Hi all,Hope you are all keeping well. My Quest 3 was working perfectly..... until it updated to v2.4  Now 3 different chargers (100w, 65w & 40w) take nearly 24 hours to charge the Q3 from 19% to 100%.  Each charger is working perfectly with every other device I plug in to them.  The cables I use are rated up to 100w charging.  The 100w charger I have been using with my Q3 for around 18 months now and never had an issue until the Q3 updated to v2.4.  It still charges my BOBOVR batteries using BOBOVR's charging dock (the docks display screen show it pulling 90w's to charge the 3 batteries).Up until the Q3 updated to v2.4 when I connectect the charger the power light on my Quest turned soild orange until it fully charged then turned green.  Since the update when I connect any of the 3 chargers the light flashes orange for a few minutes then turns soild orange. I have done a few things recommended in other forum posts, hold the power and volume-

I logged out my meta horizon few months ago and accidentally removed 2fa code from the authenticator. And today I reset my phone to factory and trying to restore the precious photos from the horizon gallery, tried to login to both meta horizon and web page but both stucked at the 2fa verification page. Real need some inside guy to help me out please

Please help — Facebook account permanently banned, and now my Meta Quest 3S is completely unusableHi everyone, I’m hoping someone here can help because I’m completely stuck. My Facebook account that was linked to my Meta Quest account was recently banned. I appealed several times, and on a few occasions my account was restored, only to be banned again later. Eventually, the Facebook account was permanently disabled.Since then, I’ve been completely unable to access my Meta Horizon/Meta account. My Quest 3S is now stuck on the login screen and keeps asking me to log in, but I can’t complete the login because the Facebook account connected to it has been permanently banned. The biggest problem is that I cannot even create a support ticket, because Meta’s support page keeps asking me to log in first. I obviously can’t log in because my account has been banned. It feels like I’m stuck in a loop with no way to reach an actual support representative.I have a Meta Quest 3S that I purchased legit
