Solved

My link app shows that it is connected.  Tested the connection and confirmed that it is working but I am unable to launch any PCVR games. It is stuck on the page that shows the three dots.

I just factory reset my vr due to a game bug which i though required the proccess but turned out to be just the games servers being down, anywho after i factory reset when i tried to pair my vr back to the same meta horizon app that i used prior it diddn't allow me to, only showing me the prompt to either try again (which did nothing) or to give up, essientally BRICKING my headset until the issue is resolved.

My left controller for my Oculus Quest broke, and I have been coming to the Oculus store for 6 months looking to see when you might have one in stock. How do I get a replacement?

Since the 22nd, my 3s keeps going black every time I turn it on. The meta os startup works but then after it just goes black and my controllers keep making beeping noises. On the 22nd, I kept having to find different solutions but next time I turn it on, it stops working again. As of today it just keeps going black OR saying finding position. I tried cleaning it, resetting it, rebooting it, and nothing works. Any ideas on how to fix it? (Note: I only got this back in April 2025, hasn't even been a year yet which is very disappointing.) As far as I can tell, I might have to go back to playing on my 2 if this persists.

now it says i need to up grade to use it and i just want to play some pc vr with my 3s but i cant from that please help

Of course with the stock quest 3 wall adapter, but with a syntech 16ft cable. Though what I am more concerned about is wether it is damaging to the device to be charged while playing, short term or long term.

Hello, As the title says, My quest 3 appears to not charge or charges slowly. Some Back StoryI ordered my headset from Currys which is a UK Tech store and have their care and repair; I have had this device for about 9-10 months. As I use the headset for long periods of time, it is connected to a charger a majority of the time, except when I use it to walk between the room with my pc and the room where I use VR.I recently had to get a better, Higher wattage charger; Namely 35W; The cable I use can support up to 60W of power. The reason for a different charger is simple, the Quest 3 one is short and lacks the proper power output for when I need to charge and game at the same time due to the headset reporting slow charging. For reference, I was playing VRChat through Steam link to my PC, I ended up falling asleep due to how exhausted I was due to the flu (Rare this happens), The cable was still plugged in to the port. However, When I checked the battery percentage it was at 5% and had power

I bought a Oculus Quest 2 headset roughly a month ago, and I've run into a problem that I've been attempting to fix with no solution (so far, from me at least.)I boot up my Oculus Quest 2, my controllers work fine, everything work fine so far, I can connect, I can download, etc. I can also link to Meta Horizon, I can link to Steam. I can interact with my desktop on my PC. However, the problem start to occur when I try to boot up an application.I tried to boot up VR Chat from Oculus Home, my controllers still respond but my buttons do not work. I can press the Home button and it'll register, but I cannot interact with the game.I tried to boot up VR Chat from Meta Horizon application, my controllers once again respond but do not work. I boot up the Video Player as well, and my controllers still register, but their buttons can't be pressed to interact with VRChat, I have to quit by using the Home button. The last one was trying to use Steam Link/Steam VR, but once I get into those screens,

My 13 year old is very interested in getting a soundboard to use while playing games like Among Us and Gorilla Tag. Is this bannable? If not, can anyone offer insight on where to start? Does he need to play on PC for that or with a Steam account? Typically my kids only play on the headset. I’m not very tech saavy but I am willing to help my kid learn. Thanks for any advice.

Headset is unable to connect to both my 5ghz and 2.4ghz wpa2 wifi networks since it got updated to the latest 2.6 PTC. It doesn't accept the wifi passwords anymore. Disabling the encryption (running my wifi as an open hotspot) makes it connect successfully but that's not a realistic long term solution.I always expected that eventually something will go wrong with PTC builds but a broken wifi is the worst thing that could have happened. If any of you guys are on 2.6 please share your working wifi connection details. Thanks!

So I toggled the battery saver mode 3 days ago and ofc it lowered resolution. I wanted to test the feature. So I toggled it on, saw the change, and then toggled it off. When I turned it off, the resolution stayed the same, the fovetated size stayed the same. Everything was the same as if I was still on battery saver mode (with full charge on the headset).   I ignored this issue until today as I cannot deal with it anymore. I restarted the device, resolution is still low, text is pixelated, FOV is terrible, everything warped. The headset thinks I'm in battery saver mode still. Tried toggling it on and off and there is literally no change when turning it on, and of course no change when going back to off.     Please help.    I'm on v60

My Meta Quest 2 can no longer install large games. Downloads reach 100% (for example, 1.6/1.6 GB), then either get stuck, disappear, or show "Wi-Fi network connection error". I've tried multiple Wi-Fi networks, including a phone hotspot. I have over 60 GB of free storage, I'm on the latest software, I've restarted and force restarted the headset, and there are no other downloads or updates. This started after a software update earlier this year (2026).

These problems started not long ago, 2 or 3 weeks at most, but the thing is, i cannot get my Quest3S to connect with a USB3 connection, link freezes or straight up won't load if im using USB3 ports, however the connection is stable on USB2 and i do not know why, airlink and steamlink work fine but i don't have a good wifi to do such AMD 7900XTthings i've tried:Format C: and reinstall windowsBIOS XCHI check (was never disabled)USB3 power management options check (always active)reinstall USB driversreinstall Meta linkFactory reset Quest3sswitching cables, using both the official short one (USBC - USBC) and third party ones, currently using the AMVR 5m one (the one i've been using since i got the quest3s)oculus debug tool options checknothing i've done seems to work, so any help would be greatly appreciated, returning them and refunding will be the absolute last option since im in mexico Versión de Meta Horizon Link 205.0.0.167.543 (205.0.0.167.543)

I cant login to my meta account. When i try to log in it says send sms to the phone number or use recovery code. I changed my number so I dont have access to my old phone number and i dont have recovery codes too. I am still logged into my quest 2 and the meta quest app, but I am trying to login to my oculus app on pc to play pcvr.  Im writing from my second account. Please help.

Hey, I've been using the meta link app for quite a few years now and one day (about 2 months ago) the app just stopped working and i was greeted with an infinite loading screen whenever i tried to connect my headset via link cable. same issue you've all heard before haha (and meta has done nothing to fix it!! of course!) I have tried:Rebooting my computer and headset. Flipping the cable upside down.Fully uninstalling and reinstalling the link app.Turning off my internet before starting a session.Blocking all meta related services from my firewall (results in the meta app saying "oh no i cant communicate to the servers pls help")Uninstalling and reinstalling the link app again. basically tried everything except factory resetting my headset (since i have recordings on there and im just too lazy to get them off there rn). if worse comes to worst, i will be forced to refund my headset for the sixth time.

I get this message based on your location you can now use Meta AI to help with that request, to turn it on, open Meta AI app.whenever I want my glasses to give me an intelligent answer, such as what’s the weather forecast. Of course, opening with Meta AI app does not have any effect, I have tried to reinstall the glasses, any ideas of what to do?

I'm hoping a moderator can help with an account-level language locale that's frozen. Setup: personal Meta/Horizon account, no Facebook or Instagram linked. Years ago I set the language to Finnish on a Quest headset, which I've since sold. Now:iOS Horizon app: correct (English),  it follows my phone. All account emails: Finnish.Accounts Centre web page: Finnish. There is no language toggle anywhere in the Horizon app or Accounts Centre for a Meta-only account, and I no longer own a device to change it from. So the stored account locale appears stuck with no user-facing way to reach it. Could a moderator reset my account's language locale to English (en_US)? Happy to verify identity via DM. Device support already redirected me since this isn't a device issue — it's an account setting. Thanks in advance.

Hello. When trying to get help of a pairing problem with my Oculus Quest (1st gen) the meta support page ask for my device's serial number but doesn't reconigze any.I'm using both the S/N from the actual device of the one on the box (they are different) but neither of them is recognized so I cannot open a support request to the meta team. Greetings.

I have a Quest 3S and no link cable, so I have to use Air Link. When I go and connect to my PC, it just keeps loading without sending me to the Home space for Link. It just doesnt go further than the loading screen with the Meta logo and the three dots

Hey y’all,Recently picked up Quest 3’s for my dad and I. The first day we got them, we were able to successfully make a call to each other via the People app so we could talk while gaming. These past couple days however, the People app hasn’t been connecting our calls. It gets to this loading screen after you attempt to join the call but never ends up connecting. We have had the meta app open on our iPhones when attempting to call each other too and it still didn’t work. Anyone else having similar issues? Any known fixes out there? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks,Chris

I bought Meta Ray-Ban AI glasses in April and did not used that much. However, today I put them on, and the left speaker doesn't work, and the right one is very quiet, even at maximum volume. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? The Ray-Ban store claims it’s a Meta problem. Contacting Ray-Ban customer service for repairs is nearly impossible, and reaching Meta is even harder.

Hi, I’m having an issue with Onward that I purchased through the Meta Quest Store. I’m using a Meta Quest 3. The same Meta account that purchased Onward. It’s a secondary account on the headset, not the primary admin account. I purchased it on February 12, 2023. It still appears in my Meta Horizon purchase history with the purchase price and last digits of my visa. After my Meta Quest+ subscription expired, the game now tells me to buy the game again or renew Meta Quest+. I’ve already restarted my Quest 3 and reinstalled the game. Could someone from Meta please check and restore my purchase entitlement?

I'm using Meta link, I'm using an aftermarket cable mainly because I'm not looking into dropping like a hundred bucks on some stupid branded cable. My cord supports 5 GBPs. I can get the link working just fine, I can open up apps from my desktop on my VR, but anything longer than about 1 to 5 minutes It just crashes and it literally won't fix itself. It normally requires me to completely reset my computer in order to make the meta link app actually work again, even task manager can't save me of which the app constantly thinks that the VR is connected but is not ready even when the VR is on connected and ready. So I must reset my computer. After resetting my computer it claims that it is not connected of which it is not, so I connect it and it works just fine. But within 1 to 5 minutes of me trying to do literally anything it freezes and it shows me only one frame while all the audio pass-through works just fine. It then kicks me out of the link, But it still says I am in the link

Hi,I powered on my quest 3 headset and was getting a message "finding position in room" continuously so I did a factory reset and I'm now only getting a black screen after startup with some background sound.I can see the meta horizon label and hear the startup sound when booting but then it quickly goes to a purple and blueish gray picture before going black. I have no other menu available and I've factory reset 3 times. I see other board messages with similar problems so it starting to sounds like there is no fix yet?Thank you!
