Solved

I tried everything made sure both devices were on the same ineternet and all still says couldnt connect anyone got a answer to this?

I have a Quest 3 and connect to a Windows 11 PC through Virtual Desktop. When I then activate Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and enter VR mode, the Hand controllers are not showing up in the list of Controllers in game. The controllers work in the 2D desktop of Virtual Desktop, but don't get detected as wireless controllers by the game. This should work as several YouTube videos demonstrate the correct control binding to use with them. Anyone have any idea how to fix this issue?

Hi everyone, I have a Meta Quest 3S that I purchased a month ago on Mercado Libre from the verified Meta store. Out of nowhere, a tiny, fixed colored line (green and red) appeared on the screen. I take great care of my things, I've never left them exposed to sunlight, and they haven't been dropped, so I'm completely sure it's a factory defect with the LCD panel (stuck pixels). The real headache is that I've tried contacting Meta support in EVERY possible way to claim my warranty, and the system won't let me. The support page asks me to log in, and even though I use the exact account linked to my headset, it doesn't seem to detect it. When I try the manual method of entering the serial number (I've already tried both the one engraved on the headset and the one on the box), the page blocks me with a red error message that says: "There is no support available for this device." It has me trapped in an endless loop and won't give me the option to open a live chat or send an email to a suppo

(this is a meta quest 2, old from 2023 when I bought it) I was playing gorilla tag, I entered city, and I was playing as usual, Buying cosmetics, and I was at the mirror, and someone had a purple bubble around themselves. So I hit them with my banana sword, they hit back with their fist, and I heard a pop. A loud, 100% volume (had my quest volume at like 50% volume) low pop. Then a loud loud ear ringing. That wasn’t coming from my ears. I thought he was making the noise so I said “what happened?”…well I turned off my headset, heard another pop and it stopped obviously. What happened?

Hello,I'm trying to get warranty support for my Meta Quest 3 because a permanent red line has appeared on one of the displays. The red line is visible even during the Meta startup logo, and restarting the headset does not fix the issue. My Quest 3 is registered and appears under "My Devices" on my Meta account. However, when I try to contact Meta Quest Support and enter the serial number, I get the message:"Support isn't available for this device."I have verified that the serial number matches the device and the original box.I also sent a private message to MetaStoreHelp, and it showed "Message Sent", but I haven't received a response yet.Could someone from MetaStoreHelp please contact me directly by PM so my serial number can be manually verified and I can start a warranty claim?Thank you.

I am secondary user on Quest 3. I played games with Horizon+ subscription trial which I have now ended. Primary account holder has now purchased 2 of the games I played when I had Horizon+ subscription. App sharing is turned on. I cannot install these new shared apps; it offers me option of renewing Horizon+ subscription or buying in store. I just want to install app which primary user has purchased and shared.I have confirmed primary user has newly purchased games in library. (Crisis Brigade 2 Reloaded, and Dungeons of Eternity. Both are reported as fully supporting app sharing)I've tried logging in as primary user, turning app sharing off, restarting headset, log back in as primary user and turning app sharing back on. Still doesn't work.Internet suggests filtering for shared apps when trying to install but there is no such drop down in app library screen these days.Tried online bot support but hit a brick wall. Tried personalised support but it kicks me out because I don't have a de

When I start the Link connection inside the headset, I get stuck in an infinite loading screen. My controllers are not reacting, so I can´t do anything. When I plug out my cable, I turn back into Quest 3 Home and I see the loading screen at same time. Nothings reacting, so the only way to get out is to shutdown the headset completely. The interesting thing is: While my headset shows this loading screen - on PC is already everything fine. By using Oculus Mirror I can already see the Link Environment on PC. I also can start my games by using the library on PC.After updating my Nvidia Drivers and also Windows, (Quest is on latest version) and endless restarts of everything - the problem is still there. My HOTFIX for now:While I stuck in this loading screen, I put the headset in Stand-by by tapping the Power button. Wait two seconds. Then wake the headset up with another tap. And then: I go straight into the usual Link Dash environment and everything is working like it should.I need to do th

Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with my Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, and I’m hoping someone here might have a solution or similar experience.  I bought the glasses just last month, and everything worked fine initially. But recently, the microphone completely stopped working. I’ve gone through all the standard troubleshooting steps, including:  - Factory reset  - Verified microphone permissions in the Meta View app  - Tried voice commands and capture (no response)  - Cleaned the mic ports carefully  - Re-paired the glasses with my phone  - Updated all apps and firmware  - Deleted app and reinstalled   Despite all this, nothing has fixed it. I contacted Meta support, and they walked me through the same steps, but the issue remains. Audio still plays through the speakers fine, it’s only the mic that’s dead, sometimes when recording a video the sound sounds robotic and can’t understand a word. The frustrating part is I paid with Apple Cash, so I

Basically when i wanted to make a purchase, I couldn't, and this message kept popping up saying "Request Cannot be Completed until Further Actions." Probably because I entered my pin incorrectly like once or twice. But Now i can't buy games on my account. Is there any issue to resolve this?

The design of these Ray-Ban Meta glasses makes zero sense for lost items. Not having Find My tracking built directly into the frames—or locked-account protection so stolen glasses can’t just be reset and paired to someone else’s phone—is a major oversight for a $300+ device. You need to add remote locking, frame-level GPS tracking, or anti-theft serial locking in the next updateSelling $300 smart glasses with no built-in location tracking and no anti-theft locking is crazy. Anyone who finds them can reset them, pair them to a new phone, and buy a $100 case to use them. Fix this and add proper device locking/Find My support.

This has happening to me for awhile but whenever I try to buy a game it tells me that it noticed something unusual and for safety my request could not be completed

For the past week i've been unable to install the Meta app on my new gaming laptop, however i get the same error after it gets near to the end of the install bar, i just get the popup saying "restart computer" I've tried:Restarting my computerinstalling OpenSSL (both Lite & the main one)Repairing x64 and x82 visual studio files Deleting the Oculus folders in the Local fileDeleting the Meta folder in Program files  Anybody know what else i can do? Seems pointless to have a fairly expensive VR headset which i can't use on the games i want. Cheers!

Hello, New here to everything related to VR.. & the Oculus Quest 2. I recently purchased a Quest 2 from a co-worker. Thought it made more sense to buy it pew-owned than to purchase it brand new, since I was giving it as a gift to my daughter for Christmas. Well, the person I purchased it from never deleted their account off of the device. So, when I got it all set up (or so I thought)... I made an account for my daughter on the app. I then tried to link the headset to the account I had made, but every time I would try to pair the headset to the app, it would always come back with an error, saying it couldn't pair the device. So,  we are on the original owners account, and since we were on the previous owners account when it turns on.... we figured out we could go into the account settings and "shared" the device with my daughters meta account, so she could play a some games, until we could figure out how to pair the device to her account..... I need help trying to get the orig

Will preface this with the fact I am aware Linux isn't supported or tested by Meta.I am using Unity 6000.3.9f1 and Meta XR SDK 203.0.0. I recently tried using an Ubuntu GitHub Actions runner in a CI pipeline to deploy a Unity app to a Meta Quest 3. I encountered a strange pair of errors, which then persisted as I tried opening an empty project with just the Core XR SDK locally on a Ubuntu Linux computer. Here are the errors in question:Library/PackageCache/com.meta.xr.sdk.core@f4a2a776f923/Scripts/RuntimeOptimizer/Core/RuntimeOptimizerPlugin.cs(29,2): error CS1032: Cannot define/undefine preprocessor symbols after first token in fileLibrary/PackageCache/com.meta.xr.sdk.core@f4a2a776f923/Scripts/RuntimeOptimizer/Core/RuntimeOptimizerPlugin.cs(33,2): error CS1032: Cannot define/undefine preprocessor symbols after first token in fileDoing some more investigation, I found this in /Packages/Meta XR Core SDK/Scripts/RuntimeOptimizer/Core/RuntimeOptimizerPlugin.cs.It would seem that being on L

Hi everyone,I’m developing a standalone VR app for Meta Quest 3 that uses hand tracking (no controllers). However, when users pinch their thumb and index finger, the System Menu unexpectedly appears — interrupting the experience. This seems to be the default system gesture for opening the Meta Menu in hand-tracking mode. For a VR application, this causes a very uncomfortable and distracting experience for users — especially when they accidentally trigger the system UI during normal interaction.I’d like to ask: 1. Is there any official way or API to disable or suppress the system menu gestures (like the pinch or palm-up menu)? 2. Can this be done at runtime through Unity / OpenXR / Meta SDK settings? 3. If not, are there enterprise or MDM settings (e.g., ManageXR, ArborXR, etc.) that allow disabling these gestures?Any confirmed solution or workaround would be greatly appreciated — even a partial one (for example, disabling only the pinch gesture while keeping hand input acti

I can't figure out why I'm dropping frames;I'm using quest 2 connected with usb 3.0 and verified speeds, whilst playing beat saber my game starts dropping tons of frames and then goes back to normal every so often, to an unplayable amount.I have an rtx 3050 in my laptop with a ryzen 7435hs and 16gb ram. Please help me, I don't know what else I need to provide.

Hi.I'm using an iPhone and have the following issue trying to connect my Meta AI app to Garmin Connect. Starting in the Meta AI app:Open Devices -> Vanguard -> App connectionsSelect GarminPress "Connect Garmin"Press "Yes, allow" on "Allow connection to Garmin?" screenThis open the Garmin Connect app on a "Meta AI" screenPress "Agree" on "Connect with Meta AI?" formThis opens a link to facebook.com in Safari. I'm not sure what the full link is.What appears is my facebook feed, with a callout box at the bottom of the page reading "The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed"My only available action at this point is to press the "X" button to dismiss the error message. If I task-switch back to Garmin Connect it is on my landing screen. If I task-switch back to Meta AI it is showing a blank white screen. This process is 100% reproducible.I can confirm that all of the relevant apps are up to date, and that my phone is on the latest public iOS.

Hey there,So, I bought my first Meta Quest 3 almost a year and a half ago... and after a few months, it died. Black Screen, no connectivity, factory reset does nothing... and was told to send it in for RMA replacement. Then that one died. Then the next one...... and the one after that...... then one time it died after less than two weeks...... and again today.I've honestly lost track. I know it's been at least 5 headsets have died on me. Every time I've asked for what the cause might be... but no one can tell me.I'm told I'm an outlier... that people have enjoyed a single headset for years without issues or needing replacements... but I've never had a headset that lasted more than a few months. So I'm really starting to think it must be me.... but again... no one can tell me.Presumably someone checks the dead headsets for what the issue might've been. Because presumably Meta has some sort of interest in the failure points of their products. But that data is, as I was told today "for inte

I have 2 devices on my account that I dont have anymore. How do I remove it? I already did factory reset, and returned the items.

Hello,I recently just bought a quest pro again, I got it used, and I've been having this issue where I can't get past the code screen. What usually happens is I factory reset it from the power + volume down menu. I connect to my wifi, go through the steps, and then it tells me there's an update. It stays on the screen for about 5 minutes, but the headset does not restart as if it didn't update at all? I try putting my code in on my phone and it will tell me "Can't Pair Yet". I've tried restarting the headset, pairing from another phone, pairing on another wifi, factory resetting again, no luck. I've tried going to the website to manually update the headset from https://www.meta.com/help/quest/software_update/ but every time I do it, it'll reach 50% then say the headset was disconnected and reset the headset. I've been trying to do the MQDH way that people say, but the headset won't detect on the app for some reason even if I have the headset plugged in directly to my computer. My

hi,I have a challenge with buying software (Virtual Desktop Inc.) after a refund in stores, First I bought it in the Meta store on the PC, but that one was not working/installed in the "Oculus Quest 3", that's why I bought it also in the Quest 3 store (that one worked operfectly) and asked for a refund of the software which I bought on the PC. But I received from both purchases the refund (Mine compliments for that and very fast). But now I cannot buy it again in the Quest 3 store. Does anyone have an idea how to solve this issue? Thanxs in advance.

Hello! I can't log in to my Meta account. Two-factor authentication is enabled on it, but access to google authenticator is lost. Recovery codes are not suitable. I can't fill out the online support form. When confirming the device, when I enter the email or serial number of the device, I recieve a message that the device has not been found. In order to create this message, I had to register an additional Meta account, as there was no other way to contact technical support.

we should bring back oculus homes(you heard me)unfortunately meta killed homes in 2023 because ol' zuckyburg does not care about rift and it's users anymore (source )as everyone has already stated, we miss rift homes (justice to people who didnt use it but i digress) and we wish we can revisit our homes, but what if........ (i'm no savvy to this)someone found an old file of rift homes that contained the application to itfigure out the DNS (if so)make a community server and reroute it back to the one made by the community server instead of meta's.ofc i know this might cost money to do something like that but we just wanna revisit our homes and talk to our friends again, and customise rift avatars, and that's something that would be done in the foreseeable future if someone purposefully brung back rift home. but i don't think that'll happen as it would take months and even years to do something like that, but i hope someone does it and figure out a way to bring back oculus homes. "why no
