Solved

Hello, I am a MetaQuest user from Korea.I bought it in 2020 and used it well, but around 2022-2023, when it switched to Meta Horizon, the account integration got messed up.I was unable to check my email because the email domain of my existing account had disappeared, and as you all know, Meta's login system was very complex. It would be easier to just create a new account, but I have purchased a lot of games on my previous account, and although I have tried various things to recover it, there is absolutely no way to do it. But when I actually tried creating a new account,it won't even pair, perhaps because Meta is already linked to my existing account. It has already been over four years since this device just became useless.I try to fix it every now and then when I remember, but there really is no way to do it. I tried to contact them via email but couldn't find them. This site is too complicated and useless. It seems like a site that is not user-friendly at all. &nbs

Hey buddy, I encountered the following error when using Meta XR SDK v78 in Unity and don't know how to fix it. I also encountered this issue with v77: the project was running normally just a moment ago, but after restarting the project, this error pops up. I can fix it by deleting the Library folder in the project directory, but I want to know if there are any other simpler solutions. Does anyone know how to do this?ArgumentException: An item with the same key has already been added. I have a Meta Quest 3S and recently when going to Horizon Central to meet my friends I can no longer hear anyone speaking. I can hear environmental sounds and the background music just not when people are speaking. I do not know if anyone can hear me for sure except for the fact that when I try to communicate no one tries to reply. I have tried to mute/unmute my microphone a number of ways with no effect. thinking it was my microphone stuck or glitched out but no luck there. It does seem like some people are talking to each other but no matter what I do I just can't hear them. Can anyone help me?

Hi. Does anyone have any advice on how to wash the standard head strap for my Meta Quest 3S? Thanks!

Started my Quest 2 and there is no Loft environment or whatever it is called. All I get is theysky and what looks line a plain of concrete. Restarting doesn't. I know the canned response will be to factory reset the headset. I'm not going to do that because 99% of time it does nothing to solve the problem.

Hi, even with the original cable, my Oculus 2 keeps disconnecting after about 5 minutes of use. The thing is, the software keeps running (I can see it on the monitor), and sometimes the Meta app itself tells me the headset is connected and I see the green circle. The cable is in good condition, not stretched or damaged, and all the software is up to date... in fact, I've reinstalled everything. Any ideas? Thanks

Since the last 2.1 update I have a constant humming sound in the background on my Quest 3. I try to watch streaming F1 but it is very annoying with this humming sound in the background. Please give us options for sound so we can switch off humming or woosh sounds we don't like.

Purchased Virtual Desktop from the store using the headset Horizon app.Money paid and the app downloaded. Headset said latest software is required to run the VD which downloaded and the headsetset rebooted and updated controller software as well. But I can't run VD because it doesn't appear in the library and nothing I've tried to sort this has worked. Anyone know how to get the app to appear in the library ? it's the only app so far I've had this error with.

Hi, I would like to request an update for your firmware. After updating to your latest firmware or new design, the UI looks really high-tech and great. But the problem is, we cannot know or find any apps that need to be update, just like in previous models or UI, there is a tag for "Waiting for update", but it is gone now. Every time when I start the device, I even wait for a few minutes, I would still do not know that which apps need to update. For example, the game for Real VR Fishing nearly updates per week, and I also played it once or twice per week. When I switch on your device, my first thing would be to check any apps need to be update in the past. But I cannot do it now! I started the game and cannot find the latest contents and after exit the game, it starts updating! It is just wasting my time!! Or am I missing something or function in your latest UI. If so, I apologize and hope somebody can teach me how to check for apps update. Thanks!

Hello,I enabled two-factor authentication on my Meta Account a while ago using an authenticator app. I recently lost access to the device with the authenticator, and I did not save the backup recovery codes when I set it up.When I try to log in, the 2FA screen does not show a "Try another way" option. I still have access to the email address registered to this account, but there was no phone number linked.Could a support agent please reach out via private message to help me verify my identity and restore access? I am ready to provide any verification needed.Thank you.

I do not want an out-of-warranty paid replacement yet. This appears to be a software/update recovery failure, not physical damage. My Quest 2 is stuck in a USB Update Mode loop. Sideload Update will not open, ADB cannot connect, and Meta Software Update Tool fails with “Cannot connect with ADB.” Fastboot detects the headset, but the bootloader is locked and fastboot continue fails with “Failed to load image from partition: Device Error.” Please escalate this to a supervisor/RMA team and check whether I qualify for a free repair or replacement due to failed system software recovery.

I've bought my first brand new VR headset on Amazon, on the official Meta shop, a Meta Quest 3S. No on a shady reseller.I've spent at least 5 hours trying to pair the headset on my Android phone, via the Meta Horizon app.I'm still stuck at the pair with the Horizon app screen on the Quest, which is for now a 300+$ worthless brick.I might add that i'm a senior systems engineer, more able with computers / gadgets than most people ...Both the Quest and the smartphone are on the 5GHz Wifi 5 channel (802.11ac)The bluetooth is enabled on the smartphoneI've tried pairing on two separate Meta accountsI select the correct headset model (Quest 3S)I've tried erasing the cache, the data, and desinstalling the Meta Horizon appI've factory reseted the headset a dozen of timesDuring the pairing, when i type a wrong pin code, the pairing is instantly failed, and the app asks me the pinWhen i type the good pin code, the pairing takes time then shows the "unable to connect to your headset", asking me to

I used to play with my grandkids. Ever since the recent "update" we are not able to see or hear each other when we play at the same time. We can be at the start of the game where you choose a club and course or try a Private Room and we cannot see or hear each other in the game. Any suggestions??

I tried to use my Oculus Quest 2 for the first time in quite a while and it wanted me to set up a Meta account and associate it with the device. I did and then it told me my account was deleted and that I should do a system restore.Does that mean my purchases are gone? Can I transfer them to a new account?

when I click on the the Conner Strava icon etc I follow instructions the I get a white screen. All my apps and FireWire are up to date. Any ideas?

I have a created scene mesh, but the Starship Home won't start. It just returns, "Couldn't find a scene mesh" and offers the option to quit and create one. I checked permissions, and have tried recreating the mesh. No joy... what am I missing? Anyone know what the fix is for this error?

How to get new Navigator on my oculus quest 2?

So I am working with OVROverlay and I have been able to attach ExoPlayer video feed on to  OVROverlay surface.now here is the problem when trying to toggle OVROverlay's shape in realtime:overlay.enabled = false; overlay.currentOverlayShape = (overlay.currentOverlayShape == OVROverlay.OverlayShape.Quad) ? OVROverlay.OverlayShape.Cylinder : OVROverlay.OverlayShape.Quad; overlay.enabled = true;Without toggling overlay enabled state, the UI doesn't update at all. This isn't a problem with Unity's VideoPlayer with RenderTexture. RenderTexture can even apply custom shader on per frame in real time while toggling shape. But with ExoPlayer, I get such error:2026-05-13 17:08:36.139 27844 28234 Error Surface queueBuffer: error queuing buffer, -19 2026-05-13 17:08:36.139 27844 28234 Error ACodec queueBuffer failed in onOutputBufferDrained: -19 2026-05-13 17:08:36.139 27844 28234 Error ACodec signalError(omxError 0x80001001, internalError -19) 2026-05-13 17:08:36.139 27844 28233 Error M

Hello, a few of our developers have encountered an issue where after receiving the latest Q3 headset software update we now receive immediate Unity crashes when entering play mode with link enabled. Has anyone else encountered this?Started with headset update to software: v2.3.1034 - Build 5208318.3200.520We are on Unity 6000.2.9f1. Meta XR SDK 78.0.0

I'd love to buy games. But meta doesn't seem to want me to. I want to add my card to my meta quest 3s. I've done it every way I can tell. I don't understand. I've tried using auth.meta.com, other setting, add card but I get "sorry we can't add your payment method". On the quest 3s, it says can't verify zip code. Yet, it's correct. I'm not going to potentially waste money on gift cards and them not work either. This is pretty **bleep**ing pathetic.

Had Quest 3s for a few months and suddenly cant click anything or do anything. When i look through the headset i see the white dot and shows microphone is on the purple mic icon. Currently shows sleep mode but cant click anything. I can hold down the meta button and will take screen shot or goes to home screen but cant click anything.Things i have tried - Hard reset headset. manually repaired both controllers through the AP. removed both batteries for over 30 seconds and replaced with new batteries. connected headset to PC but didn't see anything about an update but maybe missed it. I cleaned all camera in the front.

Hi,I recently bought Meta Quest 3 and trying to use it for the first time. Unfortunately after putting the wifi info into my Quest it is stuck on the screen that tells me to put the code into the app. I've downloaded the app (I've got Google Pixel so Android app) and tried to pair my device. I'm trying this for a few hours now and it still says that it can't find my device after putting in the code.I'm sure the wifi is exactly the same in Quest as in my phone. I'ce tried both types of wi-fi 2,4 and 5. Bluetooth in my phone is on and I've given all the permissions. The app still can't find my Quest 3. Can you help me?

The app keeps showing a black screen. My Quest 3 headset, which I just bought, stays on the screen asking me to enter the pairing code to link it to my account, but since the Meta Horizon app is stuck on a black screen, I'm unable to complete the pairing process. Is anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Hi everyone,I’m seeking help regarding a change in the Meta Horizon Link software (Windows) that has disrupted my MR development workflow. The Issue: Previously, I used the "Enable Passthrough" toggle within the Settings to test MR features in Unity. When enabled, I could see the passthrough background in my Quest 3 while in Unity Play mode. However, in the current version (83.0.0.330.349), the "Beta" tab has completely disappeared from the Settings menu, and I can no longer find the Passthrough toggle anywhere else. Consequently, passthrough is not functioning when I press Play in Unity. My Setup & What I've Tried:Meta Horizon Link Version: 83.0.0.330.349Connection: Wired Link (USB-C)Headset: Meta Quest 3OpenXR Runtime: I have already confirmed that "Meta Quest Link" is set as the active OpenXR Runtime in the General tab.Development Tool: UnityQuestions:Is the "Beta" tab being deprecated or moved in version 83?Where can I now find the setting to enable Passthrough over Link for Unity
