Hello, I haven´t use too much my Quest3, and the head support felt loose, so I checked, and that tiny screw was out, and I have to disassemble the plastic support to be able to screw it back, does anyone know how to do it? do I have to send it back to Oculus?Thank you very much !
Hi there,I hope you're doing well.I'm trying to confirm whether wired screen mirroring is supported on the Meta Quest 3S.I found the Meta support article "Cast to an external display using USB‑C, DisplayPort or HDMI cables", which states that Meta Quest 3 can mirror its display to an external screen using DisplayPort over USB‑C and lists several tested cable/adapter configurations. Link: "Transmitir en una pantalla externa con cables USB-C, DisplayPort o HDMI | Ayuda de Quest (es)"My use case is the following:Meta Quest 3SUSB‑C dock/hub with HDMI outputExternal monitor or TVThe goal is to display exactly what the user sees in the headset on the external screen through a physical cable only, without using Wi‑Fi casting, Chromecast, a browser, or a PC.My questions are:Does the wired external display feature supported on Quest 3 also work on Quest 3S?Can a Quest 3S output video through a USB‑C dock/hub to HDMI?Does the dock need to support DisplayPort Alt Mode?Has anyone successfully test
I just updated my old quest; it's an original, not quest 2 and it had been sitting in a cabinet unused for a while so I clicked into system & update its software... I now am stuck without a menu bar & unable to do anything but look around at the dome home screen.Restarting did not resolve the issue. Can anyone help me out here?
I have an open case with Meta support and cannot get a satisfactory response from them. A firmware update was pushed to both of my metaquest 3 headsets and bricked all four of my controllers so both headsets are currently unusable. The only response I get from their support is that they are ~6 months out of warranty and they won't do anything other than try to sell me refurbished controllers.I find this answer unacceptable. It's no coincidence that all 4 controllers go bad at the same time, their firmware push damaged my controllers and they are unwilling to accept responsibility for this. I've tried to get my case escalated to a manager and I get nothing but new support person telling me that they can sell me refurb replacements.
Nothing eventful happened. It was left for once without charging overnight like I usually do. It was in my nightstand where it was protected from liquids, so no water damage, nothing. I’ve tried every recommendation. I left it to charge overnight with the hopes it was just a very dead battery. Nothing. I left it disconnected for a few hours, nothing. I held the power button for over 60 seconds, nothing. I held the power button and the minus volume button for two minutes, nothing. No LED light, no bios startup, no screen, nothing. I didn’t drop it. I haven’t used it for exercise in months, so no damage from sweat. The ease of my solution, since I got it from Costco, would be to take it back. However, it’s under my husbands account, and he already has his mom on the account, since before we met. I’m an hour away from the nearest Costco. We’re thousands of miles apart. My iPad broke recently too, so I was using my headset to browse the internet and watch movies. Now I have nothi
I used meta horizon several times, not since a few months.I wanted to try Star Citizen in VR but the app on the PC said I needed pilots, I checked and didn't find what was the problem, I then uninstall the app and now I'm trying to reinstall it and every times at the end of the setup it says that there is a problem and I need to restart.I tried several solutions but nothing worked and now I just can't install the app
Hello @MetaQuestSupport, I am writing here because standard customer service has left me completely stranded. I sent my defective Quest controller back to the Meta warehouse under warranty in April 2025. Return tracking confirms that Meta successfully received my device months ago. It has now been roughly 90 days, and I still have not received my replacement controller. Every time I contact live chat or reply to emails, I get the exact same automated response: "our team is working on it thank you." No one will give me a shipping date or a tracking number. I have been unable to use my VR headset for three months. Can a community manager please step in, look at my ticket, and manually push this fulfillment through the warehouse Thank you.
I have a Quest 2 which I hadn't used in at least 2 years. After doing all the updates I restarted using it. I wanted to cast either to the app or mobile, non are working. When wearing the headset it says "Casting to web/ or mobile" but it doesn't cast anything. On the app it shows "searching for headset" all the time. At some point it says the headset is linked to another account. However I see the headset connected on the app. On mobile it says "streaming interrupted". So none are working. I have already done a factory reset. All my accounts (facebook, instagram) are connected I don't have any other meta account and I bought the headset new. I cannot get to support, when I type in the serial number it says it doesn't exist, which is b***bleep**. I read somewhere it might got "stuck" in the backend and might have to be manually "cleared" by meta, but I am not getting any option to contact them.Any ideas? I have lost all patience after more than 4 hours of trying eve
Im not sure why but my quest 3s isn’t charging or turning on I’ve tried lots of things like holding the power in button for 30 seconds and switch chargers multiple times. I am a frequent user of my vr and have long sessions and dont take care of it at first I thought it was just that it needed a break but then I did some research and it’s leading to it being a hardware issue as everything suggesting to fix it from the internet hasn’t worked. I am wondering what I myself can do to fix this issue.
Hello Meta Community and Community Managers, I am posting here out of sheer desperation because the standard Meta Store Support system has completely broken down for my case. I am trapped in an endless loop of automated, copy-pasted responses, and no human agent is actually reading my ticket history. Here is the factual timeline of my issue: The Glitch & Refund: I recently experienced a known billing error where I was repeatedly charged for "Vegas Infinite" packs that the system explicitly stated were "No longer available." After a long investigation, Meta Support rightfully approved and processed a manual refund to my Quest Cash balance. The False-Positive Restriction: The exact second the refund was credited, the automated security system flagged my account with "unusual activity" and restricted my Quest Cash wallet. The Verification Loop: Support agents are now repeatedly sending me automated macros demanding that I verify my ID or add a credit card via
(I hope everyone understands because I'm a Korean user and I'm using a translator.)I finally managed to connect to the air link last night. So I tried to run the Quill app I was looking forward to but it failed. The error text was as follows. So I opened the debug file along that path and it came up like this.I hope someone knows how to solve it.The app I want to do is this
Hi everyone,I’m hoping someone can help or advise me.My brother purchased a Meta Quest in February 2026 from the UK. Due to his work, he never got a chance to open or use it. The box remained completely sealed. He brought it with him when he returned to India in May 2026 and gave it to me. I only recently opened the sealed package, but unfortunately, the headset doesn’t charge at all and won’t turn on, even after trying different chargers and leaving it plugged in for an extended period.Since the device has never been used and was sealed until I opened it, I’m surprised it’s completely unresponsive.Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there anything else I can try before assuming it’s a hardware issue? Also, would Meta support be able to help in this situation, considering it was purchased in the UK but is now in India?Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
Hello! I've been recently facing a severe issue with my Quest 3s display for PC VR and I'm no longer able to use it. Whenever I connect my headset my PC to via cable link, the game I've booted up through Steam VR (this is also an issue in the Meta Horizon as well, not a Steam issue) will freeze after playing for a few minutes. When I try to quit the game through my pc dashboard, I'm no longer able to access the dashboard on neither Steam or Meta horizon. It'll just show the standalone home settings. When I press the home button again to go back to the game, everything is completely black but I'm still able to hear on the headset and the game is running perfectly fine on my PC screen. I can even hear my controllers pressing on the buttons as if I hadn't crashed at all but the display doesn't show up at all. I've tried using my PC on a separate headset, factory reset my own, tested my link, and have reset my PC but absolutely nothing has been working. I've begun to wonder if it's a cable
Specific Symptoms & ConditionsOnly Affects UI/Overlays: The tearing and artifacts only appear on the Quest UI, menus, overlays, and video streaming layers (such as Virtual Desktop or screens with white backgrounds).3D Environments are Unaffected: Full 3D environments, background environments, and in-game visuals work perfectly fine, as long as no system overlay is present.Tied to Head Tracking: The visual tearing is triggered by head movement. It appears as horizontal lines when moving the head up and down, and vertical lines when moving the head left and right.Affected Devices & FirmwareHardware: The issue is widespread and not isolated to one headset. Users have confirmed this is happening on the Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest 3S.Software: Multiple users pinpointed that the issue began very recently, specifically after the Horizon 2.1 update.Troubleshooting Attempted (No Fix Found)Users have attempted standard fixes, including factory resets and using the Meta Quest U
Hi everyone,I need urgent help from a Meta Moderator here because the standard support is completely failing me and actively avoiding helping customers. I have already written almost 50 emails and WhatsApp messages to agents (Jordan, Ashlyn, Youssef, and Jazz) with zero results.Today, I tried the WhatsApp Live Support. An agent named Essam just tried to merge my tickets to get rid of me. When I refused and explicitly requested an immediate escalation to a supervisor via email, he literally just closed the chat on me. This is absolutely unacceptable customer service.I have legally fulfilled 100% of my obligations. I handed my package over to DHL Express weeks ago using the official prepaid shipping label and documentation provided by Meta.It is clearly visible on the DHL tracking page that the shipment is trapped in a customs loop. This is an issue between Meta and DHL, not me. Meta is currently in serious breach of warranty and consumer protection laws by withholding my replacement dev
Hi, I recently install the last updated, and since them I'm seeing some kind of drop shadows under the panels and windows. They move with the windows and panels and react similar how a shadow should do. I just want to confirm this new half baked feature, because sometimes It seems juts wrong, or its a glitch introduced in the last updates. This thing only can be seen in the loft and in mixed reality.

My son’s Meta Quest account was created in December 2025 when he was already 13. He has been using it normally until 4 July 2026, when the account was suspended. The recovery process incorrectly forces us into the parent-managed account flow for children aged 10–12. When we enter his correct birth year (2012), Meta immediately says “Only children between the ages of 10 and 12 can have a Meta Account managed by a parent,” so we cannot complete the recovery. We also cannot contact Meta Support because logging into his account always redirects to this broken recovery flow. Please can a Meta moderator help escalate this account so the age classification can be corrected and access restored?
Hello, my glasses are saying there is not a viable email however it has my account on them and I cannot get logged into use your glasses. Looks like this is a common issue please help.
Hi,Me and my friend tried following each other through the meta horizon app and even on the vr headset and we are not able to follow each other and the only options are to block and report him but not anything about following
Hey everyone,I’m completely stuck and running out of options. Hoping someone from the Meta team or the community can point me in the right direction.I bought a Meta Quest 3 512 GB second-hand. The device was originally purchased new from Amazon.de. The previous owner used it exclusively for personal gaming — no business use, no enterprise account, nothing work-related whatsoever. After I received it, I tried to set it up. Instead of the normal consumer setup, the device goes straight to a Work Email sign-in screen. Every single time. I have performed multiple factory resets — nothing changes. The Enterprise Enrollment is clearly server-side and there is nothing I can do locally to fix this. Here’s where it gets really frustrating:I tried to open a support ticket through meta.com/help/quest. It’s impossible. The site keeps sending me in circles. It asks me to verify my device or select which headset I need help with — but the Quest isn’t registered to my account because I literally cannot
