Please help — Facebook account permanently banned, and now my Meta Quest 3S is completely unusableHi everyone, I’m hoping someone here can help because I’m completely stuck. My Facebook account that was linked to my Meta Quest account was recently banned. I appealed several times, and on a few occasions my account was restored, only to be banned again later. Eventually, the Facebook account was permanently disabled.Since then, I’ve been completely unable to access my Meta Horizon/Meta account. My Quest 3S is now stuck on the login screen and keeps asking me to log in, but I can’t complete the login because the Facebook account connected to it has been permanently banned. The biggest problem is that I cannot even create a support ticket, because Meta’s support page keeps asking me to log in first. I obviously can’t log in because my account has been banned. It feels like I’m stuck in a loop with no way to reach an actual support representative.I have a Meta Quest 3S that I purchased legit
I'm trying to recover/migrate a legacy Oculus account. The Meta Horizon app recognizes that I have a legacy account and tells me to log in with the Facebook account previously associated with it. My Facebook account works normally, but when I select it during the migration flow, nothing happens. There is no visible error and I cannot proceed.I also tried contacting MetaStoreHelp privately through the forum, but the private-message form itself fails when I try to send the message. The only indication of an error appears in the browser JavaScript console.I need help completing the legacy Oculus-to-Meta account migration while preserving the purchases and entitlements associated with the legacy account.Could MetaStoreHelp please reply here with a working way to contact support or help escalate this account migration issue?
: “This error message indicates that the original purchaser of this device reported this device as lost, stolen, a chargeback by your bank, or as an unauthorized purchase. In these situations, the device is disabled for security purposes and refunded. We recommend contacting the retailer or person you received this device from for further assistance.” Impossible to get in touch of support for the meta. The seller is gone. Wth to do now? Just throw it away?
I factory reset my quest 1 on the device. In the meta app it says my headset is still connect but it is not.The headset wants to pair and the app doesn't recognize the headset since it thinks it is still connected. My serial number is: [redacted]It is printed on the headset and the QR code gives the same number.I can't set up my headset again. [edited for privacy - this is a public forum]
So, after I start up- all I see is pastel clouds- I click on the left menu button to choose a Loft immersion- (Which I've always loved) and nothing- just floating nothingness. Sigh. No living space, no portals- just pink/ blues skies floating. It's rather unsettling.PS I know the difference from the legacy spaces from before. It's only been 3 weeks since I was on.
I recently purchased the meta quest 3s Batman Arkham shadows bundle from Walmart and my headset didn’t come with the Batman game so I went to Walmart and they told me I had to pay for it when I told them I shouldn’t have e to when i purchased the bundle so how do I go about getting the game before December
Meta Quest 3 is undoubtedly a high-quality device, but it has its limitations. I’ve been analyzing for a long time what really needs improvement for us to experience a truly immersive sense of presence in the virtual world.A 110° horizontal FOV is already good enough that we don’t feel like we’re looking through a tunnel. 25 PPD is also sharp enough, at least at closer distances. 90 FPS is perfectly sufficient for smooth and comfortable gameplay. The pancake optics are very sharp, and aside from occasional lens flares, I’m satisfied with the quality. That’s not to say these parameters shouldn’t improve, but they’re no longer the critical factors for a high-quality VR experience. What truly degrades presence, however, are the LCD panels. Blacks appear more like dark gray, and brightness is rather weak. This obviously also affects color richness and accuracy, dramatically reducing the sense of immersion. Even a flagship title like Half-Life: Alyx cannot truly shine. Meta Quest 3 allows so
I recently purchased a Meta Quest 3 to use with Emulate3D for machine VR simulations. I'm connecting the headset to my PC using the official Meta Link cable and the Meta Horizon Link app. I DO NOT want to use WiFi to connect my headset and PC because of the security risks and because my PC is much stronger and can run large simulations much better. The headset initially works perfectly. After connecting through Link, I can access the Link dashboard, view my PC desktop in VR, launch Emulate3D, and enter a live VR simulation. Everything runs normally at first and I can walk around the model and interact with it without any issues. The problem is that after a few minutes, the headset display freezes completely. The image inside the headset becomes locked on the last rendered frame, and when I move my head around, the final frame stays where it was and the rest of my view is black and pixelated. The controllers also stop responding inside the headset. I have determined that Emulate3D itself
Hello Meta Support Team, I am reaching out regarding my Meta Quest 2 headset, which has been in storage and unused for approximately 5 years (purchased with delivery to Poland). I recently performed a factory reset on the device. The headset is currently running original 2020/2021 firmware. Issues encountered: The 8-character device pairing code displayed inside the headset is continuously rejected as "Invalid code" on meta.com/device. The Meta Horizon mobile app cannot detect or pair with the headset via Bluetooth due to the outdated firmware/BLE protocol. Device and Account details:Model: Meta Quest 2Serial Number: ****Meta Account Email: ****Country: Poland Could you please assist me with manually updating the firmware or providing a solution to activate the device? Best regards,Artur ****[Mod note: edited for privacy - this is a public forum]
Meta have announced their VR Glasses (formerly known as Phoenix). 5K mico-OLED panels (2,412 x 2,288) supporting Dolby Vision HDR & IMAX Enhanced certified FOV: 70 deg horizontal, 66 vertical, 88 diag 37 PPD 56-70mm IPD Up to 120Hz Colour passthrough (26 PPD) Separate compute puck 100g for the glasses 300g for the puck 3 hour battery life (media playback) Snapdragon Reality Elite (XR2 Gen 3) Optical link cable (puck to glasses) USB 3.2 (including DP to the puck) 128GB expandable to 1TB via SD card Controllers may be optionally bundled. Pairs with Touch Plus (Quest 3) and will be available in all-black Eye tracking Iris detection Face tracking Hand tracking Phone mirroring BT keyboard, gamepad connection $1,300 not including controllers My take is this would probably be a better match for my Quest 3/Pro, than getting another headset. It would give me a wider use case including my travels and productivity, especially with Windows multi-screen integration, the PPD may be good
Hey everyone, I keep getting this error and I am using a trusted device in a trusted location that I have been using for years. I have also tried my mobile device too. Any ideas? See the photo below MetaStoreHelp can you assist please?
Latest updates have broken OpenXR for 32-bit applications in Link. Tested and verified with Richard Burns Rally (Rallisimfans version) and HelloXR.It works when running using SteamVR and also with VirtualDesktop. Link works with 64-bit OpenXR applications, only 32-bit that is broken.
Hi Meta Product Team,I am very excited about the announcement of the Muse Charm AI handheld device. However, looking through the current documentation, I cannot find any mention of parental controls or child-safe profiles. Since Muse handles deep system tasks and account integrations, it is currently locked to 18+.I suggest implementing a framework similar to :Child-Safe Core: Allow children to use the Muse AI for learning, creativity, and basic tasks.Remote Permission Requests: If the child tries to link an app, log into a service, or access sensitive data, Muse should pause and send a permission request directly to the parent's phone/Meta Horizon app for instant approval. This feature would make the Muse Charm the ultimate family-friendly AI device. I hope the engineering team considers this before the final holiday rollout!Thank You!
I recently have been unable to click desktop icons in VR via Virtual Desktop to start programs or such and when in DCS, the controls stop responding. Was there an update that did this? Can I roll it back?Mike
Hello everyone! So I've been having issues with my Rift CV1. I have 2 Sensors and the headset. I bought a Inateck 3.0 PCIe card and plugged all the things into it and it gave me USB 3.0 issues where it will go to usb 2.0 on the headset or sensors or on one or the other, it is a lot.So I tried just having the headset on the card and the 2 sensors on the motherboard, the 2 sensors on the card and the Rift on the motherboard, the headset and 1 sensor on the card and 1 sensor on the motherboard and nothing has worked. But when I have the headset in the card, it makes a crackling sound.Sometimes, my game will freeze and the last input I press on the controllers it does that and my character or whatever, moves in the game while I cannot move or do anything for like 2 seconds then it goes back to normal. It has been doing this ever since I got the card and it has been frustrating. I will also list my specs below to give you guys an idea of any issues you see here.Any help is appreciated!Specs:
Recebi um e-mail pedindo para confirmar a minha conta meta principal até o mês passado e acheiu que era spam. Agora perderei a conta principal e não consigo sequer acionar o suporte porque meu login não entra e pelo facebook não tive resposta. Há algum caminho?
What did you guys think of connect? I was quite excited for this one, initially for the update to Ray Ban Meta but it's actually the VR glasses that I'm most excited for now. The weight could certainly be a game changer, I think straight away that makes it much more viable for casual use. I love VR but it's a bit of a stretch putting it on to say watch a movie, but if it's a case of just picking up these, no straps, little weight, jumping straight into Netflix, great! I couldn't see if the puck was detachable, I'm guessing not. Would be cool if there was a basic soc on board for movie watching without the need for the puck. I like how they VR gaming was reasonably high up the agenda for these too, it was just a little mention. The Snapdragon reality elite is boasting 60% more GPU power, this is getting back to levels of performance uplift that the Quest 3 enjoyed. It would be nice if steam started allowing their ARM proton layer for other headsets, I'm sure that kind of power could be
Long story short I had an Meta account. Then it came the BS-Time where you had to have Facebook connected. So I made a FB Account.I (stupidly) forgott the FB Account cause I DO NOT USE FB.So I coundt use my quest anymore and thought f it.Now I got a Mail saing:Wir haben dich kürzlich per E-Mail bezüglich deines Oculus-Kontos kontaktiert und dir mitgeteilt, dass es zu einem Meta-Konto migriert werden muss. 1-My kids are playing games (like Animal Company), and the device’s battery barely lasts an hour. What should I do?2-Also, after updating to the new version, a lot of game icons appeared on the home screen, but none of them are installed on my device. How do I remove them?Is there a setting that will fix these issues for the Quest 3?
Hi,Is there any way to stream the Quest 3 display to a PC wirelessly, without using an Internet connection and without a USB cable? Both the built-in Quest casting feature and Meta Quest Developer Hub (MQDH) appear to require an active Internet connection in order to start casting. The only solution I have found that works entirely over a local network is using scrcpy with wireless ADB. However, the captured image still contains the headset lens distortion, so I then have to capture the scrcpy window in OBS and apply additional correction to compensate for the distortion. Is there any other way to stream the Quest 3 display directly to a PC over a local Wi-Fi network, without requiring Internet access?I cannot rely on Internet connectivity because the application will be used at trade shows and industry exhibitions, where Internet access may be unavailable, unstable, or unpredictable. Using a cable is also not an option, so the solution has to be completely wireless.Ideally, I am looking
My vr has this glitch and it says “finding position in room” I’ve factory reseted, I’ve tried EVERYTHING for it just not to work, does anyone know how to fix it because this has been happening for 3-4 weeks
For the past three nights, I've ran into multiple different issues (kind of similar), all with different fixes except for tonight. For the last two I've changed the codec to h.265 (common fix for other people), disabling other settings in the debug tool, and reinstalling the app, which all worked up until tonight. I've tried power plans, usb power, global c-state settings in the bios and none of those have fixed the delayed/wobbly display to my quest 3. I have ruled out different cables as well (problem eventually persisted on both). I have no idea what else to try since I've ruled out everything to my knowledge without a fix. I have to assume its from one of the many broken updates.Edit: it ended up being the bitrate set too high (was at 500mbps, setting it to 200 fixed it)
My headsets displays turn off. Every 10 to 15 Seconds. I have (automatic wake) enabled The screens do not come back on. In less I hit the power button. I have tried. Setting my (display off) and (sleep mode) To their maximum time limit of 4 hours. I have tried cleaning my face sensor. automatic wake still works. Just only when I've actually taken the headset off of my head. And then put it back on. This problem even occurs with obvious head movement. But weirdly always occurs when my controllers are not moving. And it does not occur when my controllers are moving. I want to be able to keep my hands/controllers still for more than 15 seconds. This issue may not seem like a big deal to some but to me and the way I use my headset. it is seriously impacting my enjoyment of a product that I bought with my own money.
due to my facebook been suspended' i cant log in my ouculus account , so i cant do the setup that metahorizon asks its my last day to transfer it what should i do !!my facebook account/ ouculus account is 1046032376@qq.com
I need help recovering access to my Meta Horizon/Meta account that I use with my Meta Quest 2 headset.I am currently locked out of my Meta account because two-step verification (2FA) is enabled.Meta is asking me for an OTP/code sent to a phone number that I no longer have access to.I do not have my recovery/backup codes.I am not currently logged in to my Meta account on any device.I previously followed Meta's support instructions, which said to log out and then select an option such as "I no longer have access to this email".However, when I tried to follow that process, Meta told me that I needed to perform it from a device where I was already logged in.I therefore appear to be stuck in a recovery loop because I cannot log in, but Meta's recovery process requires me to already be logged in.When I try to contact Meta Support, it asks me to either log in to my account or provide an order number, and I may not have the order number available either.
