Solved

Hi,I have a World and I want to participate in the Creator Competition: Elevate Your Mobile World. When I try to use new features—such as importing an FBX file or inserting assets with the new format—there is no problem in previewing the World. However, since my World was originally created in 2022, I receive the following error message when attempting to publish:"You are attempting to publish a world with pre-release features."It seems that new features are recognized as pre-release features in worlds with older original metadata or internal structure.Even if I delete all entities and scripts in the World except for the imported FBX or inserted asset, I still receive the same error when I try to publish it.On the other hand, if I create a brand-new World and import the same FBX file or insert the same asset, publishing works fine.Additionally, in my older World, I can't assign custom textures to shapes, and the Build > Shapes menu lacks newer items like Cube Beveled or 10 x 10 Plan

Summary:Add a "Private Lock Mode" that hides both chats and status updates from selected contacts until I unlock with fingerprint/password/PIN. The locked contact gets zero indication that they've been locked.Current Problem: 1.WhatsApp's "Chat Lock" only hides chats, not status updates from that contact.2. If I mute or archive someone to avoid seeing their content, it changes how I interact with them, but doesn't give true privacy.3. There’s no way to completely hide a contact’s activity from my view without them knowing I’ve restricted them.Proposed Solution: "Silent Private Lock"When I enable this lock on a contactFeature                                                         Behavior After Locking                                  Chats

I got my Oculus Quest beck from a friend and did a factory reset to conect it new with my acc but the app still sayes it cant finde my Quest

Ive checked my wifi router and it’s working fine, but any online games on meta won’t work even though my headset has a good internet connection, the problem started happening a month before but was gone and was only spearing every week, but know it’s really bad and doesn’t work at all since April 29th at around 7pm, I don’t know if something happened then and it hasn’t been resolved but the problem is not on my end, anyone know what’s going on? Could there also be a software update I need that I didn’t get yet? I’m on version 2.3 and it says I’m up to date.

Pullin my hair out here - I have the V81 simulator installed on Windows 11. Unity 6.2.10f1. I enable the simulator but the window does not appear. Any suggestions on what to check? My goal is to use the headset in editor and the simulator in the Multiplayer play mode. When using XRIT and the unity xr simulator in another project, this type setup works quite well . I can have 3 virtual players using  the simulator and I can use the actual headset over the pc link in the editor. I want to replicate this type of setup but using the Meta XR Simulator instead.

Dear Community, I have a problem running Meta Quest Remote Desktop on Windows 11 Pro 23H2 (Build 22631.4037).   Installation with Meta Quest Remote Desktop Setup.msi (Version from 13.8.24) works fine and shows no errors.  However, when Opening the App Meta Quest Remote Desktop nothing happens and in the task manager MQRDCrashpadHandler is shown for 1-2 seconds.   How can I install the Meta Quest Remote Desktop App on my machine. Happy to collect further data to solve the problem.   Thanks in advance,   Tobias

Hey everyone, and hopefully Meta Support,I just bought a Quest 3 from a third-party seller who claimed it was "brand new and factory-sealed." However, when I opened the box and checked the controllers, I found Chinese "NANFU" AA batteries inside (see attached picture).I contacted the seller, and they claimed: "Meta officially uses NANFU batteries in some Quest 3 batches." I highly doubt this. So, I have a quick question for Meta Support:Has Meta EVER shipped the Quest 3 with "NANFU" brand batteries straight from the factory?I would really appreciate a quick confirmation so I know how to handle this with the seller. Thanks!

I have 2 Quest 2's and one updated to 79.1032 but the other one is still at 79.1028. I've done everything suggested (leave it powered on and connected to Wi-Fi, on a flat surface and don't block internal sensor), but it's been a week and no update. Is there something else I should be doing?

Where do I go to friends list on the web

This is probably a really stupid question, but I was wondering if I owned a game for more than 14 days, and I've been meaning to refund it, but I forgot to, am will Meta make any exceptions to refund it? For extra detail, I didn't find the game enjoyable at all, and it wasn't what I expected.

HiI found out you can connect LE-audio bluetooth earbuds to Meta Quest 3s. My problem is, it doesn't work at all. It connects but everything becomes super laggy and no audio at all when LE mode is enabled in bluetooth settings.I have Creative Zen Air Plus earbuds which supports LE audio when connecting to its' specific pairing name. When I do so, I can hear "LE connected... LE disconnected... LE connected... LE disconnected..." every couple seconds from the earbuds. Also everything on the Quest becomes like a 0.1fps slideshow until I disconnect the earbuds. When I connect the earbuds with normal bluetooth mode, everything works fine. Only problem is that games have 1-2s latency in audio. Videos (Youtube etc.) don't have delay because they sync with the audio. Is the bluetooth LE-audio mode still early experimental or is it supposed to work as intended already?Until it's resolved I can use wired earbuds with PD/audio usb-dongle. But then I lose smart funtionality of Elite battery st

Both of my controllers will constantly not be able to be tracked or have any buttons work. They are connected and have a full battery but still nothing works. I've also tried reseting my headset and I am not sure what to do because I have tried every possible thing. If anyone knows what I can do to fix this please help me out.

I see this is a very well known topic , outstanding for at least the last two months and apparently not solved yet : for the cost and the brand reputation this experience is just unacceptable and deeply amateurish I kindly ask Meta’s brains to provide us with an official statement and help in addressing this annoying problem when I try to connect Meta AI app to either Garmin or Strava the process get stuck in a blank pageI posted several comments in other threads , I tried to contact meta customer support (but I Learned that can only manage issue for products purchased at the Meta Store…and routed me to Oakley customer support…this is incredible), so far no reaction (must be for the Xmas break …I hope)Please, I kindly ask if someone from the community managed to solve this or if Meta can tell how to do (please not like I read somewhere “to unpair and pair again the glasses: it doesn’t work with me)

Hello,In August 2025 I bought a copy of Stencil VR and loaded onto my Meta Quest 3S headset. I used it successfully. However, for one reason or another it no longer appears in my app library.I am unable to reinstall it as the instructions all seem to suggest I should open the Stencil VR app on my headset, but it isn't there to open. Can you help please?ThanksJim

The little plastic bar that holds the strap on my quest 3s has broken off and now I can’t find the bar. does anyone have any suggestions? My device has been out of warranty for almost a year.I’ve tried contacting meta support but there’s no category for what I need to get help for

I recently bought the Oculus Quest version of Vader immortal but when I go my PC to claim it for the Rift it doesn’t work and it just says “Error performing query”

ContextI use my virtual reality headset, a meta quest 3, and previously 3S, as a screen for my gaming laptop, and use it to have multiple computer screens to play video games on my laptop on.I use a software called Virtual Desktop, which gives me 3 computer screens in vr, which are connected to my gaming laptop, allowing me to see my computer in vr, up to 3 computer screens, and play PC video games.Note. NOT PCVR. I wanted to do the same thing, have computer screens and use my computer in vr, but in VRChat. My gaming laptop is not powerful enough for PCVR VRChat and PC video games at the same time, so i want to do it in standalone VRChat on meta quest 3thats where i am running into problems.1...   VRChat and Virtual Desktop can not run together. Opening one closes the other, in my meta quest 32...    the built-in Meta Remote Desktop works in VRChat, but the keyboard passthrough does not work, meaning i can not see my bluetooth keyboard and mouse in VRChat. I tr

I'm stuck on the "Pair your headset with the Meta Quest app to continue." step during the Meta Quest 3 setup. The smartphone app tells me to "Allow permissions", which I have already done. I have "Use precise location" enabled as well. Pressing the blue "Continue" button does nothing. The Meta Quest 3 button is greyed out. I have a code displayed in the headset that I'm supposed to input somewhere in this app. What do I do?My Meta Quest app is up to date. I have already installed all system updates on my smartphone. My smartphone and Meta Quest 3 are on the same WiFi network.See screenshots:

I have updated my quest 3 version some time ago and the new UI (not the navigator) stationary boundary (transparent bubble) is so nonsensetive. I need to get back to the old ui's stationary boundary (the blue circle).Thanks.

meta horizon link is saying my graphics card is incompatible when it should be compatible.i am using an AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT which came out after the minimum requirement for graphics card, which means it should be compatible. i suspect it may be because its too new but its displayed before that it is able to recognize it and expresses that it may be not powerful enough for a enjoyable vr experience, however whenever i try to connect it says it cant because the graphics card is incompatible.specs: meta quest 3s (vr headset), amd radeon RX 6500 xt (graphics card), 16 gb of ram (not graphics card), and using air link with a pc that uses ethernet.

Hey my oculus quest 2 won’t accept my Visa card for any games it’s worked in the past but now it won’t accept it can someone please help me. I’m

Is this updated in real time? Or does it take a while to update? My sales are showing as 0(zero) on the dashboardI've been making and publishing avatar items and sold some clothing items to a user that requested some to be madeI know they have bought some items because I've sent them wear the items. Apologies if this is an open discussion elsewhere. I couldn't find an answer so thought I would ask Thank you

I've been developing a VR game for Quest Pro/Quest 3 for the past year using Unity 6 (6000.0.40f1) with Meta XR SDK (Core 74.0.1, All-in-One 74.0.2, Interaction SDK 74.0.2, Essentials 74.0.1).Current situation:Standalone Quest APK builds work functionallyPerformance is poor (~40-50 FPS, pixelated visuals)Unity Editor with Quest Link runs beautifully (80+ FPS, crisp visuals)What I need to know: Can I build a Windows platform executable with Meta XR SDK and run it as a PC VR app via Quest Link? Or is Meta XR SDK strictly for standalone Quest Android builds? What I've done:Optimizing the standalone build with my own code logic and texture compression, and logging disabled (My game has a server logging feature)Limited improvement due to an asset-heavy projectWhy I'm asking: Since Quest Link (Editor to Quest) performs so well, I'm wondering if I can build a Windows .exe that runs the same way - using my PC's GPU while the Quest acts as a display/input device.Constraints:I need Meta XR SDK sp

I try to launch my game in Meta XR Simulator and my Meta XR Simulator app won't show it.Here is a screenshot. I even have it on. Can anyone help?My Mac trying to use the Meta XR Simulator in Unity
