The quest app is persistently launching on startup. I have checked the apps settings and followed steps here:I have set all them to not launch on startup. Why is there no setting in the app to just disable this. I absoloutely do not want this app launching on startup.Meta Horizon Link Version 83.0.0.333.349 (83.0.0.333.349)

My meta quest 3 gets stuck on the loading screen when starting a Link using the Link cable. I have tried restarting everything, reinstalling meta quest link and factory resetting the headset but nothing works. When i try Meta Quest Link sends me a notification saying "Meta Quest Link not working correctly"(translated). This was not the case before. I think it may have something to do with the update from november 24th. 

My facial interface on one side is not locking and can just glide. I’m under warranty and how do I get a replacement? It makes my eyes hurt after one being close to the screen one not. I forgot to mention I have glasses too so I really need this.

PC with Windows 101 went to Meta's website2 downloaded the app3 double clicked it4 this Error came outreally have no idea how to solve it, please help

I bought an Oculus Quest 1 from a friend. It's factory reset but I can't set it up, it's still linked to his Meta account, and neither of us can get it removed. Device: Oculus Quest 1, model MH-BSerial and account details available on request via DM.What happens:- Setup pairs, auto-detects the code, spins, then fails with "Couldn't pair with your headset". Tried iOS and Android, auto-detect and manual code entry, and an older Horizon app version.- During setup on the older Android app, it indicated the headset is still associated with an account.- The pairing code only shows in the headset for a split second. Why he can't remove it himself:- auth.meta.com shows "You must confirm your account to continue" with a "Continue with Facebook" button that is greyed out and unclickable. Not unresponsive — disabled.- He's tried multiple browsers, private windows, cleared cookies, disabled extensions, and logging into Facebook first in the same browser.  ‌I mirrored my Quest 3 to a self-powered portable monitor using a C-to-C cable that supports USB 3.2 Gen 2 (100W, 8K, 20Gbps, PD fast charging). The mirroring works fine, and the image displays properly on the monitor. However, I’m getting terrible ghosting inside the Quest 3 headset, making it unusable. When I keep my head completely still, there’s no ghosting. But as soon as I move my head around, severe ghosting/motion blur occurs and makes me dizzy. Is there a setting I can tweak to fix this issue? Or would upgrading to a higher-spec cable, like a 40Gbps one, solve the problem?

I'm trying to reset my store PIN but not receiving the email. I tried to follow the advice provided to someone else a few months ago and it didn’t work. Hoping someone has a fix. 

Hi.  I just logged into my bank and saw a $8.47 charge from Meta for "Meta Horizon+" subscription.  I have no recollection of subscribing to anything.  I went back through my PayPal Meta charge authorization activity, there hasn't been an $8.47 charge to Meta since May and I know what that was - I let my friend's kid play with my VR and the little spent $300 buying all sorts of things because I never thought about having to protect purchases since this is only (usually) adult used. Anyway...  back then I had this frustration too because I couldn't get a hold of anyone at Meta.  But I dropped that because the mother gave me the $300.  The kid hasn't been on my VR for weeks though, so I don't think this is the same thing.  As such, I'd like to talk to someone at Meta. I saw a phone number in PayPal for the charge; (650) 543-4800.  I imagine they require contact information for charges, great.  So I call it and get a recording that says "lol ph

Greetings! Many of you know what is happening in my country. And many of my friends and acquaintances have become owners of Quest headsets, looking for a little peace in virtual worlds. Its have allowed us to unite different parts of our country and support each other. And although many of us know English, we still communicate in our native Ukrainian, but due to the lack of a Ukrainian layout in the headset, we are unable to write messages to each other in our own language. I understand that adding a whole new localization language can be a difficult and complex task, so I ask you to add at least a Ukrainian layout to the list of available ones in Meta Horizon OS to allow us to communicate freely. Thank you Meta for your products and I hope that this request will be heard. And thank you for your attention.

Hello everyone. I have a Meta Quest 3 that no longer boots correctly. The headset displays the Meta logo and green progress bar. After the progress bar completes, the logo keeps spinning for a while, then it gets stuck on a permanent gray screen. I already tried factory reset from recovery mode, official Meta software update tool, booting from both slot A and slot B, ADB sideload mode works and the device is detected. The update tool works and says it updated the device but nothing changes. Also in another try, the device got eventually disconnected during the update, and nothing changes. My headset is out of warranty. Has anyone seen this exact behavior? Is there any official recovery image or additional recovery procedure? Any help would be appreciated.I can provide recovery screen photos and any additional info if needed

Hello all, just wondering if anybody can help with an issue we are having. My sons metaquest 2 has worked fine for years up until the other day when the library went blank and just has flashing grey/black tiles. All games are present in the library on the horizon app on his phone but not on the headset. Tried lots of things now, including logging in on my account which also has a blank library. If I try to launch from the app it says make sure the headset is connected to the internet?, the headset does say its connected and I've also tried with a hotspot to eliminate router problems. Could it be a faulty quest?, not done factory restore because he is worried about loosing progress in ug and scary baboon, cloud save is active, is there any way of telling if these apps are cloud supported? any advise would be much appreciated. 

I have noticed that the Oculus Tray Tool website is no longer in operation (google oculus tray tool download). https://apollyonvr.com This is a real pity imho since I used this free app for +6yrs, starting with my Rift cv1. My current version 0.87.8.0 still seems to work fine. I use it to help finetune games/sims SS and ASW setting, plus turn on/off oculus runtime because I also still use a native SteamVR Vive Pro1. I think there may be an older version available here, but I don't know if it works or not, and it seems to be an older version; https://www.guru3d.com/download/oculus-traytool-download/ It's a real pity that Meta hasn't incorporated OTT into their ODT, or at least included game profiles by now imho. I need your help with my Meta Quest headset. My headset suddenly stopped working. The power light turns on, but the display remains completely black, and I cannot use the headset. I no longer have the original box or the purchase receipt because I threw them away. However, I do have access to my Meta Horizon account that was used with the headset. The serial number of my headset is: [deleted] Please let me know if you can verify my ownership using the serial number and my Meta account, and advise me on the next steps to restore access to my headset. Ive been using Meta Quest Link without any issues for a few years, but it has suddenly stopped working completely.Whenever I try to connect, I receive the message "Meta Horizon Link isn't working correctly," followed by an infinite loading screen. Eventually, it says the headset has disconnected, even though the USB cable remains connected the entire time.I've spent hours troubleshooting and have not been able to fix it.As a workaround, I tried using ALVR over a USB cable instead of Wi-Fi. Although it technically works, the image is extremely blurry and gives me a headache regardless of the settings I use, so it is not a viable replacement for Meta Link.PC specification: AMD Radeon RX 6800S GPU.Has anyone else experienced this recently? Could this be related to a recent Meta update, and has anyone found a working fix?

Front-line support has repeatedly sent automated responses claiming my access was revoked because my Meta Horizon+ trial expired. However, these titles were outright commercial purchases made with real currency (PayPal & Quest Cash), not free Horizon+ catalog claims. The 4 profile photos show up when I put on my Meta Quest 3 but the Account and Profile Menu doesn’t come up when I click on a profile photo. I just see my living room though my Meta Quest 3. How do I get the Account and Profile Menu to show up again? 🤔 Thank you Zack

Oculus Go setup is stuck. I can't get past the health and safety Video. The video loops and loops but I can't click the continue button.

Purchase quest 3 on March 2026 and now having scratches on there lens want to repair or buy new pair of lens for them in India but didn't find anything here please tell what should I do 

I just factory reset my vr due to a game bug which i though required the proccess but turned out to be just the games servers being down, anywho after i factory reset when i tried to pair my vr back to the same meta horizon app that i used prior it diddn't allow me to, only showing me the prompt to either try again (which did nothing) or to give up, essientally BRICKING my headset until the issue is resolved. 

I desperately need help purchasing Elite Dangerous and Half Life Alyx. When I hit the purchase button a just see a spinning circle. I can download free stuff like Google Earth and Hovercar 

Hello Apologies for posting this but when trying to send as a message the "send message" button just flashes and does not send. I am contacting you from a second Meta account because I am completely locked out of the Meta account that owns my Quest 3S. Two factor authentication is sending codes to an old mobile number that I no longer have. I still have access to the registered email address, the headset, the correct headset serial number and proof of purchase. The automated support system will not let me contact an adviser. It says “Support isn’t available for this device” when I enter the serial number. Choosing “I do not own a device” only sends me to FAQ pages. Please escalate this for manual account recovery and removal or resetting of the old SMS two-factor authentication method. The affected account email address is: [email redacted]  Please tell me what further information you may need to verify ownership.

I got link to release channel of a game and i cant join it .Here is text of the problem "Unable to joinYou are unable to join this release channel for the following reason:You are not at least 18 years of age."This game is 13+ ANNNDD i am much older than 18. My date of birth at meta account center is correct.So WTH? 

My Meta Quest 3 will not link to my PC via any cable (occulus or kuject). I cannot get support for this issue because my account according to Meta has no device registered to it.But my account does in fact have a Meta Quest 3 registered to it. When I forget trying to log in and instead use the option to key in the serial number I get a message saying that support isn't available [for the Meta Quest 3] When I choose the third option and say I do not own a device, I get this message: I am then presented with the question: Still need help? which returns me back to square one and the cycle of frustration begins again. This is one of the worst experiences of customer care I have ever experienced. Meta does not seem at all interested in its cusomters getting value out of their products and only in cost saving. 

After the latest Quest 3 update (7/27/26) I've been unable to play any PCVR games via SteamVR or Virtual Desktop.Here's what's happening:- Start Virtual Desktop or Quest Air Link- Click the "Launch steam VR" button- Instead of showing Steam VR as usual, it just shows me my room (passthrough)- On the PC monitor you can see the actual game in VR, the headset tracks correctly and everything seems fine, but inside the headset there's nothing but the passthrough.- This also happens even if some environment is selected instead of passthrough.The same happens with MSFS2024 when I click to switch to VR. Normally it would fade to black and then switch to VR, now it fades to black and then shows me my room on passthrough. I can hear the audio from the game still playing but nothing is on screen.Essentially, I can interact and see everything in Virtual Desktop in 2D, but as soon as I switch to VR in any application it goes to the passthrough view instead of VR.

I have a VR headset (meta quest 2) that I simply reset, and now I can't use it because I only have one controller.
